Natural Remedies to Treat Blocked Fallopian Tubes

"Fallopian tube obstruction is a cause of female tubal infertility. The fallopian tubes are unable to let the ovum and the sperm converge, thus making fertilization impossible.

Most commonly a tube may be obstructed due to infection (i.e. pelvic inflammatory disease). Other processes that may occlude or disable the tube include tubal ligation procedures, adhesions due to previous surgery, endometriosis, appendicitis, peritonitis, and more.

By tuboplasty, the fallopian tubes can be restored to function." (Wikipedia)

10/27/2006: Ted from Bangkok: "A blocked fallopian tubes could be any number of causes, however the easiest remedies is to treat the condition where fallopian tubes is due to a condition of inflammation or infection. In this case the use of any antiseptic douche, the application of anti inflammatory oil, such as lavender applied to the abdominal area,

improving eliminations by taking 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda plus 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid will reduce constipation, remove the toxins and thus normalizing the blocked fallopian tubes.

Improving the body immune system by taking some zinc and magnesium supplement will reduce the body's bacteria and reduce the inflammation.

If the fallopian tube blocked is not due to inflammation but due to heavy scarring, then I think conventional surgery or other would be more appropriate. One common cause of infertility is that the eggs do not stick to fallopian walls, in that case taking some vitamin C in form of sodium ascorbate will reduce this problem, since in some instance this the problem"

05/06/2010: Stormno01 from Queens, Ny: "Good day,

How are you? I trust you are in great health.

I live in Queens, New York and I am writing to ask for your assistance with blocked fallopian tubes. My tubes are blocked and I need to know what I can do to unblock them. My husband and I have been together since 1995. We do not use condoms but I still cannot get pregnant.

I had surgery in January to remove fibroids. I thought that was the problem but then I had other tests that showed my fallopian tubes are blocked.

I know my husband is very disappointed but being very patient and calm about this situation. We are both older than 41 years old, and we cannot afford infertility treatments.

I do not want to have another surgery. Can you please help me?

I look forward to your response. Thank you.

I feel so useless and worthless right now...."

There is a yoga breathing exercise called kapalbhatti, where one exhales forcefully through the nose, which might help in unblocking your tubes. Google the word kapalbhatti and you might get videos showing you how to do it. Good Luck!"
05/07/2010: Lisa from Thousand Oaks, Ca, Usa replies: "Hi Stormno01,

I'm sorry you are feeling so down. Remember you are much more than you realize! Stay connected and communicating with your husband to alleviate the feelings you are both having.

I would recommend you explore Chinese medicine. I am certain you can find an excellent Chinese acupuncturist/herbalist there in NYC. Do research. I have seen several women get pregnant through this after being disappointed with western medicine and their diagnoses/opinions/techniques. Stay open to that idea as their approach to our bodies are radically different from the western idea. Stay positive.

I wish you the very best,
Lisa"

05/07/2010: Adrienne from Flowery Branch, Ga replies: "Hello Stormno01,

Some time ago on a fertility website, I had seen numerous postings of women with blocked tubes and there is no one particular cause for the blockage. One lady claimed toilet paper (how she knew this i have NO IDEA)..another lady in fact had a condition where a cyst or something at her ovary and tube was secreting a not-so-friendly discharge which was 1. detrimental to the eggs her ovaries where releasing and 2. the discharge was built up in her tube..and the list goes on.

Anyway, there was a lady who concocted a natural solution and claimed it to work to remove toilet paper by putting this solution up in her. Honestly, I didn't agree to what the woman was doing because if you think about it, when something is obstructed, then it needs to be cleared/pushed out rather than trying to dissolve it. 2. She had to have inserted something into her uterus and apply enough pressure to get it through her uterus and up her tubes. Very dangerous!! (People who perform at home artificial inseminations have to certify with the sperm bank that they will not attempt to perform the IUI (inter-uterine inseminations) but deposit outside the uterus and let nature take its course.) There is a reason for that!

I strongly urge you to consider your situation (age, fertility status, etc) before sticking anything up there which may cause further problems.

My conclusion which may not be what you want to hear, but have the procedure. The money and time spent and the peace of mind of knowing thats its being done correctly are going to be worth the peace of mind than to take a chance at something which may may not work, further impact your fertility and really mess things up!

Hang in there hon..I know its hard."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Grn: Blocked fallopian tubes due to excess fibrous formation is caused by a long term irritation and inflammation reaction causing such conditions as well as deficiencies relating to immune conditions.

To resolve this is to reduce inflammation, destroy the irritant pathogen, and resolve the deficiency causing the excess fibrous formation. A common Apple cider vinegar will help, but vitamin C and some aspirin taken at the same time should help the body resolve the fibrous formation, while the apple cider vinegar should help reduce the irritation. Thus reducing the fiborus formation caused by the irritation. Deficiencies of zinc, selenium and vitamin b complex should also reduce the conditions.

It will take some time as the fibrous formation happens over a long course of time. I suspect large doses of vitamin b5 (500 mg/day) will normalized most tissue, and prevent blockages and normalizing the collagen.

However, all this is to normalize and prevent further blockages of fallopian tubes then anything else"
