I have been diagnosed with lupus for about 8 years other than the initial diagnosis I had been relatively symptom free until June 2024. My skin especially my face and arm became exceptionally itchy with a heat to it. Nothing the doctor gave me worked. The only relief I got was wet flannels in the freezer and then wrap them around my arms. I tried numerous creams. My sister recommended a sun cream that contained zinc oxide after use I noticed the redness had died down a bit on my face but I needed a Moisturiser. My friend had made her own sun cream for her baby and gave me some to try. Wow after 1 night I had major relief. Got the ingredients from her and have now made my own. Organic refined coconut oil, beeswax, rosehip oil and a tablespoon of zinc oxide melt in a container over a pot of hot water. Once all ingredient has melted add the zinc oxide. Take off the heat and whisk as it cools. You are welcome. Typical I have a dermatology appointment coming up soon and my skin has not looked better. Happy healing x
