Hi! I have read these thread about molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar as natural ailment for chocolate cyst.

I have ovarian cyst in my left ovary and half of it was removed last feb2011, and my OB told me that my right is also cystic so she injected me 11 sessions of DEPO that was march2011- january 2012 ( every month) she said to stop my mentruation and control my hormone. I got my ultrasound every 3 months. And after my last session that was January my cyst was cleared and I had my period after three months.

I can feel that I have my cyst in both of my ovaries again because I can feel the signs now. I found unsulphured BSM at the Carrefour Suntec City. Go to the organic section. Only one brand there and I forgot the brand name. Bought 2 bottles, brought back to China and deliver to a friend who has Fibroids.

Although I'm not sure, I think this brand of molasses, the only one made in Spain, is made from the first boil and is not blackstrap, which means that is made from the third boil of the sugar cane and though it has a high content of minerals but less sugar on it.

The only blackstrap that I found in Girona is from Biospirit, and is imported from Holland. I'm not sure if I can tell you the brand in this site but if you cannot find it I can tell you by mail.

Susana, ask in a health food store for Blackstrap Molasses from the company Horizon from the Netherlands. It's called: rietsuikermelasse.

S: The best places to look are "health food stores" and "farmers market". Is there by chance a Mennonite community in your area (I think the Mennonites originated in that region) as they are major produces of BSM.

As for Iron and energy, the health benefits of Cooked Liver (usually beef-calf or chicken from grocer) or supplemented Raw Liver Tablets are similar to BSM. Beets are a good plant source of of Iron.

You should also take Raw Kelp tablets to get natural Iodine in the Thyroid Gland which will increase your metabolism/energy.

After reading about all the good things that this product does for women suffering with fibroids, i went out and brought unsulphured blackstrap molasses from Whole Foods which is a health food store. I brought a 740g jar for £1.99 which I though was a bargain! I'm hoping and praying that this will work, not just for me but all who use it.

I went to my local Holland & Barrets and they had "Meridian Natural Molasses Pure Cane". Is this "Blackstrap Molasses" because it didn't say Blackstrap anywhere.

I use Meridian Natural Molasses Pure Cane too which if you go onto the Meridian website (their website is on the jar) explains that it is Black Strap Molasses and is unsulphured too.

Jeffrey from Sharjah, uae: You can buy ACV from Spinneys. I bought mine from Spinneys Silicon Oasis Branch with the exact name: Dynamic Health Apple Cider Vinegard with "Mother". I also bought it in Spinneys Bur Dubai and in Greens. Guess its available in all Spinneys outlet.

I bought BSM from Choithram "Grandma's Molasses" but its not unsulphured I guess. Still searching for the unsulphured one and will update when I get a hold of the organic unsulphured BSM.

I get mine at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. Also, if your local grocery stores have an organic or 'natural' section (which all of them do here on the East coast), you could probably find it there as well.

For Blackstrap Molasses that gets you the most punch as a "super food" notice that there are different kinds of BSM. The "thick" kind that has the most nutrients is what I'm after for medicinal purposes. What I normally find at the health food stores over the years is called "Plantation" and I'm sure other good brands are available. But don't confuse that type of BSM with the lighter more refined kind that you'd typically use for deserts.

I am on the east coast and get mine from a local franchise who orders it from FL. The toll free number on the bottle is 1-800-223-2910. I don't know if this is just for the distributor, but I'm sure if you call they can advise you. GOOD LUCK!
