Some years ago I rescued a Dachshund from a kill shelter. He had been passed on from shelter to shelter without being adopted. He had black, hairless skin and a very unhealthy, sad countenance. No one would adopt him.

I got him a half hour before he was scheduled to be euthanized.

I brought him home and began feeding him a healthy diet and loving care. But the main thing I did for his skin was to mix 1/3 Organic ACV with 2/3 water and spritzed this mixture on his skin 3-4 times a day.

Within a week his skin was beginning to heal and he wasn't itchy anymore. Within a fairly short amount of time ALL his hair grew back on his legs, where there was no hair when I got him.

He became the happiest, funniest, most loving boy any dog owner could wish for! The Organic ACV was the only treatment I used for his skin, as I don't like to put any chemical based treatments on or inside my dogs.
