I've been diagnosed with Atrial Flutter (very rapid heart beat) and now they say it is SVT (supraventricular tachycardia). I discovered on my own and with God's help gluten was a culprit. I have taken all foods off the table with gluten, MSG, and dyes. I am on a very low dose of Metoprolol Tartrate because it is impossible to avoid foods contaminate with gluten all together. Before the gluten discovery I was hospitalized for the 3rd time after being on Doxycycline for UTI. My heart went crazy. I later found out some drug manufacturers use gluten fillers in meds! Thankful I have it under control now. If I do get something that has been exposed to some gluten I may get a few flutters but nothing that would send me back to emergency room! I am so thankful! I have been gluten free now for several years.
