I have POTS due to Lyme Disease and my B12 is actually in the higher end of normal. POTS is autonomic nervous system dysfunction and actually doesn't have much to do with the heart itself at all.
Salt

I'm really surprised salt isn't one of the remedies listed here for POTS. My friend had it really bad, and her natural doc told her to add more salt to her diet. I've had similar symptoms and I take a pinch of Celtic sea salt a few times a day and it really seems to help.

It is because it goes without saying. POTS 101 so to speak. Salt increase is the first thing that is recommended for POTS. Unfortunately POTS is a very complicated syndrome that is caused by the autonomic nervous system dysfunction. POTS is a form of Dysautonomia. Nearly every organ and system is affected by this dysfunction. You don't know how you're going to feel today or in one hour. You could wake up and not even be able to walk across the room to turn your light on. I have been diagnosed with POTS 12 years ago and it is getting worse. No amount of salt make any difference. I have maybe 20 different symptoms that change daily/hourly. I have tried everything there is to try from medicine, supplements, therapies, and various alternative healing modalities. Trust me I left no stone unturned. Nothing works. Atenolol controls my heart rate, but there is nothing that helps with 19 other symptoms.
Indeed. SEA SALT is exactly what I suggested to a friend of mine to take complaining of Dizziness and Vertigo upon standing. And believe it or not, Deep Tissue MASSAGE helps, too. Glad to hear U R doing better.
Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil
★★★★★
I developed a racing heart and high blood pressure instantly one morning. For about an hour I practiced deep breathing and drank water. Didn't help. I didn't want to go to the hospital for all the fears one can image (it is nicknamed ‘kill ‘em and hide ‘em) so grabbed my essential oils book, which recommended Ylang-Ylang.
Two whiffs and all went back to normal instantly never to return again.
That was in 2016! Ylang-Ylang travels with me always.
