Osteomyelitis is a painful infection of a bone. This bone infection often causes swelling that can damage bone and lead to bone loss.

Infection can begin in the bone itself if an injury exposes your bone to bacteria. Infections can also reach a bone through the bloodstream or spread from nearby tissue.

Bacteria and fungi can be frequent causes of osteomyelitis.

Standard Treatment for Osteomyelitis

Getting treated quickly with antibiotics often works. However, some bone infections will need the area drained of abscesses or remove the damaged bone.

Who is At Risk?

The elderly, young children and those with diabetes are most at risk for osteomyelitis.

Symptoms

Symptoms of osteomyelitis can include:

  • Swelling, heat, redness and pain over the area of the infection
  • Fever
  • Fatigue

When to See a Doctor

See your doctor if you experience worsening pain along with fever.

If you're at risk of infection because of a medical condition or recent surgery or injury, you should see your doctor right away if you notice any symptoms of an infection.

Borax and Magnesium for Osteomyelitis in Jaw

Well its been a year since my first post. I am certain I found my cure. A pinch of borax in my drinks and liquid magnesium spray - I even make my own spray.... I have done this every day but now its on occasion when I think I need to make sure it won't come back. Just a tiny bump on my skin to remind me of this awful infection.

Just curious...You say a pinch of borax in your drinks. How many times a day? And the magnesium spray...Did you put that on your jaw bone or somewhere else? How often? Did you mix it with DMSO? thanks

I spray wherever - usually on my wrist or inside my elbow just so it gets to my blood stream fastest - sometimes my belly button. A pinch of borax - once a day everyday for a year- but I have since then backed off and maybe take a pinch twice a week now and no dmso at all.

I am taking MMS, Master Mineral solution, as I have osteomyelitis in the bone under my ear. Up to 33 drops a day. Some days I have no pain. An antibiotic would be easier, but they no longer work for me for almost anything. I have taken colloidal silver in the past and it worked for my sinus issues, but I ended up with an ear infection that went to the bone. Part of the issue is the continuing sinus issues.

I am considering acupuncture in the area and Far infrared sauna. I have heavy metals that keep infection in my body. Doing ionic foot baths also to help chelate metals.

I have used MMS too but find it very difficult to keep up the 8 hrs of drinking it. BUT I may have landed on my cure, time will tell. I am spraying magnesium oil on my veins and taking a pinch of borax in my drinks. It seems to be receding - it's in my lower left jaw bone.

The pathogen is more likely to be neutralized. Stubborn pathogens like MR essayHi, just wanted to suggest checking out Andreas Kalcker and CDS. similar to MMS but no yucky taste. Also, I think you could probably take more and possibly get better results. He has a protocol where you take 20 drops of CDS In 100 mils of water every 15 minutes for two hours. After that The same dose every hour on the hour for eight hours. Continue with this protocol until you are better. From what I've read CDS/formerly known as MMS, has a half-life of one and a half hours in your system. By dosing up every 15 minutes The pathogen is more likely to be neutralized. Stubborn pathogens like MRSA and those associated with osteomyelitis need to be treated long-term until they're gone completely so that there is nothing left to re-infect. I would continue on this protocol for 2 to 3 months and then after that stay on a prophylactic dose of anywhere from 1 to 4 doses per day. I'm not a doctor, just someone who is researched extensively for a family member and has utilized this protocol myself for other health issues myself with success . Best to you for complete healing. Also you can find more information at CDSstudyguide.com.

Just a note for those who are looking at the bleach Treatment, I would look into using CDS instead. It is used as a safer water treatment than chlorine and is also used in the production of cookies, crackers, and as a wash for seafood and meats in the grocery stores. Don't let big ph arma propaganda scare you from this. It is worth looking into for yourself❤️

Thanks for this information. I tried this today but had cramping after an hour, so dosed down. The site you referenced is gone, but I am looking at the universal antidote site. I can't find where Kalcker recommends that amount, so got a little scared of taking that much. I have his smaller handbook that recommends 80 mil at day max. Let me know if you have another reference and another place to get info. Your response was so appreciated and I hope you get this one.

For all osteomyelitis suffers and enduring antibiotic resistance, there is a remedy that is difficult to obtain; it is called EDTA intravenous - the EDTA has shown benefits in virtually every disease it's used in, so it is healthy basically and quite safe - it polarises bacteria biofilms and membranes, killing them. EDTA works better than IV antibiotics, and bacteria are not resistant to EDTA intravenous - the cost is an issue, and fake science giving ridiculous doses to rodents that no human would ever consume, is the basis for restricting IV EDTA from the public - similar to JSB10 (active vitamin B3) which was given at over seven thousand fold the dose humans take - to rodents, then this false science, served as the basis to say this non-harmful, beneficial nutrient/supplement was carcenogrnic - EDTA even benefits kidney health. If you cannot get EDTA intravenous, because of cost, it can be brought online yet requires prescription, supplementing some EDTA orally (which can be brought through loads of chemical suppliers) will lead to excessive lead in the bloodstream, which will make you pass a heavy metal lead test, then maybe, maybe, you can get an EDTA intravenous prescription, which you can get IV EDTA from online suppliers on India-mart.com or from others who do IV vitamins online, message and ask people. If anyone gets IV EDTA, let me know where, because I can only afford home IV - and I don't use anti-biotics, they caused osteomalacia, worsened the whole condition - I have ordered enzymes, and am going to take them 20-25grams per day in total 5g of 5 different enzymes on empty stomach. Lumbrokinase, Nattokinase Serrapeptase Lipase Lactase Cellulase After a month or two probably see big improvement. I also must say, studies in Vivo, necrosis occurs through necrosis factor alpha, only if tissues are dehydrated and lack enough blood flow - nattokinase (10 strong capsules) and trypsin (topical powder) thin blood and stop oedema. I just soaked my hand in a glass kettle for a few days a week with apcpure distilled water (don't use random distilled water from dudes distilling in their mums attic of eBay, they water is aweful. Then add q couple of cheap £20 ozonators in with the diffuser stone, to keep the straw down/anchored) Add food grade Peroxide, collidal silver, and the bone joint health will increase, and necrosis decreases, significantly - if you can blend organic kale, spinach, onions, ginger, (farmer market is best - must be organic) this will reduce inflammation by half roughly and pain by roughly half, and increase bone and joint strength half) sit and watch movies in the mean time, or health, or get on pubmed and see what natural intravenous supplements, have ever been compared to antibiotics in 'vivo' and in "patients". Many IV vitamins and minerals which you can get work, as do IV amino acids work much better than anything, except, the species of infection, must be biopsied, to find the exact ("species") as proteins/amino acids kill some and actually drastically empower other bacterial species - if you haven't got a biopsy, then soak in veggies all day and night at least three days a week if possible. Get IV giving sets, and take loads of everyvitamin that helps in pubmed in patients /Vivo daily, at home if like me, it's too expensive to pp ay for. Intravenous administration of hydrogen peroxide and ozone 10x 10 please assessment can work to and cold - that all yet those therapies are really expensive. IV EDTA, while cheap, is costly, unless you do it at home
