I have learned that anyone with high histamine problems can have a deficiency in Vitamin B12. This means that anyone that gets hives often or has urticaria could be deficient in Vitamin B12. The liquid kind helped me!

Histamine is a huge factor in many diseases and disorders. Since their has been a number of things mentioned recently. Like Cancer, Long COVID, eye issues, triangle spot near eye, resetting nerves, imaginary but not feelings under the skin, arthritis, autoimmune disorders etc. Anytime there is an immune response histamine is activated, which can last longer in different circumstances.

Anxiety and panic attacks, brain fog, exasperation in ADHD and cognitive difficulties, digestive issues such as diarrhea, bloating and constipation, fatigue and shortness of breath, skin reactions like hives, psoriasis and itchiness, numbing hands, feet and other. Signs of high histamine, which can fluctuate so symptoms can fluctuate.

This is not just an immune response but high histamine foods too. So if your having one or more of these issues, Please look into low histamine foods and supplements that will lower histamine and histamine receptor blockers. So be self-aware.

Skullcap, Nettle & DAO Enzymes

I developed this issue with histamines during candida overgrowth that began over 2 years ago, which is now resolved. Unfortunately, the histamine issues remain. I didn't realize that I was even having histamine issues until months after the fact because many of the candida symptoms I was experiencing were very similar.

The histamine issues are related to leaky gut, which I am self-treating with marshmallow root, slippery elm, cranesbill, glycine & glutamine. I take a blend of this first thing in the morning & 2 more times again throughout the day, on an empty stomach, in plain water.

I am also having very good results with the skullcap & nettle tea, as well as the DAO enzymes I chose, as a means of helping my body process histamines & decreasing histamine release. I drink the skullcap / nettle infusion 20 minutes before meals, as well as before bed. This is making a huge difference for me. I buy the skullcap & nettles as loose herb or sometimes harvest the nettles fresh. Nettles can also be eaten, cooked, or added to smoothies with great results.

I opted for DAO enzymes made from pea sprouts over the pig or cow kidney type because there is no way of knowing what kinds of residual hormones, antibiotics etc might be in the animal organs used for DAO supplements, which could cause additional problems. It took a few days for them to kick in, but they are working.

I have also begun sprouting my own pea seeds (those meant for sprouting, not the ones sometimes found in bulk from garden centers) to obtain fresh DAO enzymes as pea shoots are high in DAO, which taste great & are a good source of nutrients. They're very nice added to salads, in sandwiches and wraps & just to snack on.

Lastly, I am taking supplements: methylated B complex, extra B6, zinc / copper, magnesium, iron, vitamin C, along with several others.

The above is really assisting me in healing my gut. I am beginning to slowly add back in the foods I eliminated while dealing with candida, testing how my body reacts. So far, so good 👍

Avoid Green Tea

I developed dry eye and dry mouth from taking SIBO antibiotics 6 months ago. Several weeks ago my eyes started itching like crazy.......at first I thought it was allergies. Itching and watering. I even made my forehead bleed scratching it was so bad. So I started thinking and researching and finally realized that dry eye also include the same symptoms. Fast forward another week and I started getting very congested and thought I had a sinus infection. Went to the doctor and he said no just allergies. Recommended Flonase which I was already using. I asked him if there was a way to test for histamine intolerance and he just blew me off. I had been doing sea salt nasal rinses for the past few days and my blood pressure is staying up around 140........usually around 120. So tonight I was at the computer researching and started thinking about the green tea I started making and drinking many times a day SEVERAL WEEKS AGO. While green tea is good for most people it can calm the histamine release slowing histamine clearance and leading to an intolerance among some people who have compromised immune system. I will test this theory..........may take a few days because my sinuses are so clogged.

Morgellons, fibromyalgia even after affects of stomach flu causing leaky gut syndrome is associated with histamine and other toxins leaking into the body. Cancer histamine can enlarge tumors. It's the silent destroyer that Doctors don't test for. One looks at a main symptom because its worse but have other symptoms they ignore. Their not causing as much problems. Be self aware! I found takers of benadryl for antihistamine caused intraocular pressure leading to permanent eye problems.
