This worked on me with a hemorrhoid. Cotton ball sailed in mustard seed oil and turmeric powder. Consistency of a paste. Since your own anatomy acts as a covering, just place it topically at the anus and wear tight undies for the night to keep in place. My morning it reduced 90% and never grew back. This was 15 yrs ago. Now I have a lumbar hernia and it's getting bigger . I want to try this exact recipe as a poultice over the bulging area but want to know if anyone else has tried this recipe with a lumbar hernia. (Recipe came from India healers, not very known here in the states)

I have an abdominal hernia. I wonder if you or any member of the earth clinic community can help with any remedies to help heal or reduce the size of an abdominal hernia to possibly avoid surgery. Thank you.
