For about 20 years, I'd open a tight jar, clap, lift something heavy, or have a beer and I'm guessing a blood vessel would burst in my fingers. Ouch. The pain would stop after a few minutes (less if ice was applied). Found a site that suggested eliminating barley, wheat, and other grains. Doing so helped. Then about 10 years ago caught a parasite from sushi. Horrible experience. After several blood tests, it was eradicated. Due to gut issues, more tests revealed wheat was problematic. Every once in a while, I cheat and have noticed that 1-2 days after my skin is sore to the touch. Initially, it was my forearm about a 2"x4". This morning, the same tenderness occurred (but more extreme sensitivity that was somewhat painful) on my thigh about 3"x6". Tried applying ice; very uncomfortable. I googled it and 'allodynia' came up, saying it's associated with fibromyalgia, migraines, and nerve injuries. Any recommendations for this would be appreciated.

Marsh,

Sorry, I get ahead of myself sometimes. Your also having food/beverage allergies. If you feel reaction after eating or drinking, food allergy making your histamine rise. You have to cut out what your reacting to. Certain Carbs, alcohol, pop, food dyes. Go for more alkaline foods not acidic foods. A methylated or food base multivitamin and D3 will help. Your body is to acidic.

Marsh,

Your dealing with high histamine levels. Quercetin with Bromelain will lower histamine levels. Two a day for start. A low histamine diet. Heal leaky gut syndrome and use low histamine probiotics. Then get you immune system reset from SAAT practioner. Seeking a Naturopathic Doctor or Functional Medicine Doctor would be valuable. You may have high uric acid levels also.
