Where to Buy Blackstrap Molasses

1st, an alert: "Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Molasses," used in the 1/31/09 post comparing it to Blackstrap Molasses, is actually blackstrap! It doesn't say that on the front label, but on the side, in small print, it says "Ingredients: Blackstrap Molasses." That's why it's composition is so similar to the Blackstrap shown.

By comparison, the composition of Grandma's Molasses given in an earlier post makes a good example of regular molasses, a 1st boiling.
At the suggestion of an acupuncturist, I've been taking a tablespoon each day for leg cramps. I'd tried taking extra calcium and magnesium, but was still having leg cramps. He said, perhaps I needed more iron. The beauty of the blackstrap is it has all three plus potassium. Thank you for providing this website :-)

I'm a resident in Dubai. Can anyone help me where i can find BSM. I have checked all Supermarkets and Nutrition Centres. I didnt find it.

Blackstrap Molasses is available at Spinney's (american brand) for dhs.15. The egyptian one (equally good and half the price) is available at Hyper Panda at Festival City and at Emirates Co-Op (Ghusais). The arabic term for blackstrap molasses is "sucre dhips".

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother is available at Hyper Panda at Festival City.

Where's the exact location of the Organic Foods and Cafe in Satwa and Greens? I'm looking for Organic ACV.

Jeffrey from Sharjah, uae: You can buy ACV from Spinneys. I bought mine from Spinneys Silicon Oasis Branch with the exact name: Dynamic Health Apple Cider Vinegard with "Mother". I also bought it in Spinneys Bur Dubai and in Greens. Guess its available in all Spinneys outlet.

I bought BSM from Choithram "Grandma's Molasses" but its not unsulphured I guess. Still searching for the unsulphured one and will update when I get a hold of the organic unsulphured BSM.

I have been like many other Malaysians looking impossibly for Blackstrap Molasses, which seemingly cannot be found in Malaysia. Adding Blackstrap Molasses to my normal Fountain of Youth potion (ACV and cayenne pepper minus baking soda) have greatly improved my skin this 3 days. I have yet to see the effect on my health.

Where to get Blackstrap Molasses? It's easier to get it these days at the organic shops. And I can see that more organic shops are available now compare to before. In PJ alone, you can get it at Cold Storage (in One Utama shopping center) organic section, or at any of the organic shops in PJ or KL area. I would think it's the same for other states in Malaysia. If you have any problem finding it, please leave a message here, and I'll try to find a shop near your area. No promises, just try my best.

In the UK, molasses is also known as treacle. Maybe you can try asking for it as well?

In Nairobi you can get blackstrap molasses from the HealthyU stores that are located in or at Nakumatt and Tuskys supermarkets. That's where I buy mine. Price is Ksh. 395/- the last time I bought it. It's great, I've been using it for my anemia and now I feel energized and whole. my skin is also looking fresh and young.

Hi, I've been reading all the feedback regarding blackstrap molasses and all the benefits it has after consuming everyday. It got me really excited so the minute i got the chance i went out to buy some but was really disappointed when i could not find it. I've tried the health food store and the supermarket but they did not have any, they didn't even know what i was talking about. So my question is..Does anyone know where i can find blackstrap molasses in Australia or even if it is called balckstrap molasses maybe it is called something else here???

Lana from Cragieburn, Australia- You can find molasses, really you can! Go to Woolworths- in the section where you can buy honey/spreads/jams. Look for Pure Label, but there could be another brand as well. If you do not find it, go to the health food section of Woolworths or even Coles and look for it there. I buy my molasses at either shop and have had not problem. As a last resort, ask the manager at either shop if they can get it in for you- usually they are very helpful.

I found organic black strop molasses in Oraganic Foods and Cafe in Satwa and Greens (two branches) in Dubai.They do have organic ACV as well but without mother in it. You can try and give feedback. If you find _____s ACV in UAE please let us know.

I have been reading about the wonderful cures for fibroids and anaemia on this site . . . I have had fibroids since 2003 and horrendous heavy bleeding. I raced out a couple of days ago to buy some organic blackstrap molasses which you can buy at the Bushwhacker Health Food Shop on King's Street in London W6 - it's less than £2 for a large jar. I've been taking 1 tbsp twice and sometimes three times a day . . . Looking forward to better health! Am also taking 1 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar in water twice a day.

After reading about all the good things that this product does for women suffering with fibroids, i went out and brought unsulphured blackstrap molasses from Whole Foods which is a health food store. I brought a 740g jar for £1.99 which I though was a bargain! I'm hoping and praying that this will work, not just for me but all who use it.

I found unsulphured BSM at the Carrefour Suntec City. Go to the organic section. Only one brand there and I forgot the brand name. Bought 2 bottles, brought back to China and deliver to a friend who has Fibroids.
