I read this tongue in cheek but I've been looking for ways to get off my nightly routine of Tylenol PM. I found TPM not only helped me with sleep but also acted as a treatment for my fibromyalgia. I read this post and TY EC for keeping these older posts up, so I decided to try this. I started low and slow finding a GABA product that was sublingual and only 100mg to start. I'm now up to 500mg nightly and feeling great. With this and my other treatments my fibro feels like it's going into remission. I'm sure I'll forever be on an anti-inflammatory diet but living normally once again in every other way is priceless.

Hi, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1999 and in 2010 I start taking
gamma-Aminobutyric acid (Gaba) 500mg with B6, I did start slowly but I increase the dose to 1000mg then 1500mg and 2000 mg per day. I also took
Ashwagandha for 3 months then I stop Ashwagandha but not the Gaba,
In June 2012, I realize now that even if I do not take Gaba every day my pain does not come back anymore.
Also I am taking a full spectrum Vitamins with Iron, vitamin D, Calcium with C.
I take ___ protein [supplements] with BCAA's (for Lunch 3 times a week), Taurine 500 mg and Magnesium everyday in the evening with a snack, Melatonin 4 mg before I go to bed
I drink a tomato juice with 3 tsp of Apple cider vinegar 3 to 4 time a week....
I have a very healthy diet a lot of green smoothies (avocado spinach, Mango or green apple... and Protein powder but not to much fruits too much sugar...
I feel great today and I think that 2 years of Gaba cure me from all that pain..... I do exercise one hour every day...
if someone else took very high dose of Gaba please share your experience I would like to know.
