Natural Support for Renal Cell Carcinoma: Holistic Care

Alkalizing

Hi Mary...I think the use of Ted's alkalizing remedes is perhaps a very bad idea for someone who has renal cell carcinoma. Since the main job of the kidneys is to balance the fluids and electrolytes -- like calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium etc -- then adding large quantites of sodium that cannot be cleared or balanced by the cancerous kidneys, would be of no benefit and might actually be quite a dangerous protocol in my opinion.

But this would also depend on factors like whether both kidneys are cancerous, what stage the cancer is at and is the patient on dialysis. If you did want to use alkalizing, I would strongly advise that you see the patient's renal oncologist and get his advice first.

Notably, on Dr Simoncini's cancer website, there is a long list of cancers that he successfully treats with his sodium bicarbonate IV Therapy. In this list are some very difficult cancers that he treats and cures -- including liver cancer, bone cancer, pancreatic cancer and brain cancer. But nowhere on that list or elsewhere on his site has he ever listed successfully treating renal or kidney cancer with his therapy. This is why it is not really advisable to treat a renal cancer patient with Ted's alkalizing remedies without, at least, the advice and supervision of a renal oncological specialist.
