[YEA] 10/24/2007: Rose from Sacramento, CA writes: "After having recurring colds & sinus infections for over a year, I eventually got surgery in my nose. This is after taking Antihistamines, Naseril and everything else. I felt better, but still got sick easily, even after the surgery. Tired of medicine, I came across this remedy & ran to the store, bought the ingredients at the first sign of a cold and took it before trying any thing else. To my surprise, I was well after two day's, without taking anything else. Since then, I take this remedy at the sign of a cold (itchy throat, runny nose) and that's all!!! My husband, who was not sure it worked, tried it when he felt sick, he had a runny nose, cough and was sick in bed, but after one day he was fine. Now, we give it to our 5 year old daughter and well, we're all happy. Sometimes it does upset my husband's stomach a bit, probably do to the hot sauce, but it works."
Replies[BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS] 01/25/2011: Kai from Seattle, Wa replies: "WARNING! Im kinda irritated about this remedy, because although it does seem to have helped, it turns out for me and many people theres one serious side-effect to consuming a ton of garlic right before bed - insomnia or nightmares! Considering I'm sick, I neeeeeeded my sleep tonight, and its seven in the morning and I still havent been able to drift off. So, if you do this, plan ahead and make it many hours before your planned bedtime, hopefully you'll be able to fall asleep."

[YEA] 10/22/2007: Kate from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK writes: "Delicious and effective, though it took probably around an hour for my sinuses to clear. I think I probably need to add more hot pepper sauce to get a more immediate effect. The bigger benefit by far was that it helped to clear my chest as the garlic/ pepper combination forced me to cough up (sorry for all the detail) all the phlegm that had settled on my chest. It also seems to have dried up my post nasal drip as well, so a good result all round!"

[YEA] 09/12/2007: Mayra from Metairie, LA writes: "I am 27 years old and I have has sinus problems since my first pregnancy, my baby is now 10 months, I am now pregnant again and my sinus are worst thant ever. Before I found out I was pregnant I went to the doctor's and they gave me different anti-biotics and they were not working, they said I have a viral infection in my sinus. Now with the pregnancy I am worse and I don't want to take medicines, I was desperate and came across this wesite and I love it. I tried first ACV and it make me throw up because of the pregnancy, I will try it with honey to see if my stomach can take it. Then I tried the tomato tea and the first night I was able to sleep better, I only woke up once, yesterday I didn't take it bacause my stomach was not good and I could tell the differce, I will take the tea after work and another cup before going to bed, I think this will help me and get rid of the sinus problems once and for all. I am tired of using drops and talking medicines. I will report in a week to let you all know how this is working for me. Thank you Health Clinic!"

[YEA] 07/30/2007: Ellie from Newport News, VA, USA writes: "I tried the tomato tea, but so far it hasn't worked for my sinus congestion. It just left my mouth burning. It seems to work for other people though, so it can't hurt to try it! As for now...I am going to the doctor tomorrow after two weeks of sinus problems...today being the worst. I read about steaming with ACV and am about to go try that! Thanks for the ideas and suggestions and I hope these remedies work for others."

[YEA] 07/12/2007: Corinne from Long Beach, CA writes: "A couple days ago I got my second sinus infection in 2 months which is extremely unusual for me. I am a big fan of homeopathic remedies so I searched online, found the Earth Clinic site, and read through the cures using ACV and tomato tea. About 20 minutes ago I had my first cup of tomato tea - wow, that stuff is really tasty! The flavor was so much like a spicy soup that I wanted to put some crackers or cooked macaroni in it - in fact, this would make an excellent base for vegetable soup. I am breathing more freely and definitely plan on drinking a cup or two a day of this stuff until the infection is gone. Also got some ACV at the store and have a bottle with water, honey and ACV all mixed up and ready for sipping. Thanks for creating such a fabulous site. I will definitely put a link on my blog to these cures."

[YEA] 06/26/2007: Billy K from Columbus, OH writes: "Tomato Tea Cure: This remedy worked well for me. The more hot sauce and garlic you put in the better; I say put in as much as you can stand, but be very careful that you don't overdo it. My results were immediate."

[YEA] 06/11/2007: Debi from MoVal, CA writes: "I have been obsessed with this web site since I found it last week. I have a case of bronchitis, usually so bad that it lasts for at least a week, but I'm almost over it now, I believe thaks to EVCO, ACV, and tomato tea. Yesterday I read about the tomato tea. Last night I started coughing and had nasal congestion upon going to bed. I finally got up and did the "pre-made" tomato drink with ACV and tobasco. FINALLY slept! Today though I will add the garlic. Great for soothing the cough as well."

[YEA] 06/01/2007: Renee from Santa Monica, CA writes: "Tomato Tea: This really worked! I only did one cup a day so far for a couple of days, but I have dramatically improved! I was really sick with a horrible head cold and I don't normally get sick so, I am not excited when I do. This tea combined with a TON of sleep really did the trick. I went back to work today and people actually noticed a difference in me!! I highly recommend this concoction!"

[YEA] 06/01/2007: Tara from Los Angeles, California writes: "I would really recommend to buy a juicer, and make this tea with freshly juiced vegatables, and ideally organic vegetables-- (and a juicer is great to have around anyway, but especially useful we're you're sick and need nutrients as pure as possible--it's harder to digest our food when we're ill--).
I just made this receipe, with two large tomatoes, a clove of garlic, a piece of fresh lemon, a little celery (all of which I put in my juicer), then I added sea salt (*not* table salt, which is not good for you), the hot sauce (though i wish i had had some fresh peppers around too--), threw in a little black pepper, boiled the mixture on the stove, then drank it as a tea, and it worked great-- (in some ways, it's like drinking the best tomato soup you've ever had :)i would definitely true to juice your vegetables though--and there are some good cheap ones (I found a really good one at target, that had really tacky decorating on the box (it seemed like an informerical gone bad), but it ended up being a great juicer (www.jacksjuicer.com)--much better than the slick black i had bought a few months earlier but was more 'chic' looking (and both cost $100).
fresh lemon and apple juice shooters i've heard are good when you're sick too, but i haven't tried that yet...i'll let you know when i do :)"

[YEA] 05/25/2007: Ms. Kamara from Upper Marlboro, Maryland writes: "So after two sleepless nights and two wearied days of dealing with a painful sinus congestion and runny nose, I decided that I couldn't take ANYMORE of the zyrtec/singulair/albuterol combination my doctor put me on! So, I put on some determination, got out of bed and did a search on the internet on "painful sinus congestion" and came across the recipe for the spicy tomato tea. Unfortunately, I only had a couple of the ingredients on hand, but I got myself dressed, went to get the rest of the ingredients. I am so glad that I did, because now, only 1 hour later, I feel like a million bucks...no runny nose or stuffy nose!! Thank you all for your feedback!!!"

She took the med and used the spray, at dinner she was worse and I found your webpage and your tomato recipe, she took it and 10 minutes later (we timed it!) she was better. She didn't care for the garlic part of it but she loves the relief!! Thank you for the great info."

[YEA] 04/10/2007: Bryan from Dayton, OH writes: "This stuff ROCKS! The Tomato Tea (I consider it more of a soup) is absolutely amazing! I've had extreme allergies for my entire life, coupled with asthma. I also have a deviated septum, which causes constant sinus infections. I'm on all sorts of OTC medications as well as prescriptions and none of them work as well as this stuff. I made it with 52 ounces of tomato juice, 4 tablespoons of garlic, 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, and I quit keeping track of how much Cayenne and hot sauce I used. Needless to say, I'm sitting here sweating profusely due to the spiciness, but I can't even feel the sinus infection anymore. My nose has been draining for half an hour, the pressure is gone, no more headache, sore throat is gone, and no more itchy eyes. Not to mention the soup tastes FANTASTIC. I'm definitely going to drink this stuff more often. Thank you so much!"

I tried everything that the doctor prescribed for my sinus infection and when that did not work, I turned to the Internet and found the Tomato/Vegetable tea concoction remedy. About 3 hours after I drank it, I could actually breathe and have not had a better night's sleep in months. THANKS A MILLION!!!"

[NAY] 03/20/2007: LP from Dallas, TX writes: "Just tried the spicy tomato tea. I have had severe nasal congestion for almost 5 weeks and I am 4 months pregnant so I was really hoping this natural remedy would work. So, I made the tea; meticulously following the recipe. It has been almost an hour since I finished drinking the tea and unfortunately, it has not worked at all. It was worth a try!"

[YEA] 03/19/2007: Elaine from Chicago, Illinois writes: "For almost two years now my regular sinus condition has gotten about ten times worse. If I sleep through the night it is a miracle. Tonight I was at the end of my rope. (not to mention I had been on a variety of meds including;flonase, singular, advair, sudafed, zyrtec) and they barely take the edge off of it. I have used garlic alone and cayne pepper so when I read this receipe I brewed up a cup...and I was extremely stuffy tonight and not able to sleep. I drank/sipped it down and I am 90 percent clearer than I was in just twenty minutes. I ended with a stick of winterfresh gum (which does help to clear my sinus) and wow, I feel better than I ever have. I tried the apple cider vineger but it only took the edge off, but this stuff and my trusty stick of gum...well, I am off to bed and betting I will sleep pretty good. And talk about taste, I will drink this two to three times a day and look forward to it, it tastes great. Good Night all.."

[YEA] 03/18/2007: Paul from San Antonio, TX writes: "After suffering with a sinus headache for 3 days and getting no sleep, my wife brewed this tea for me. I thought it was ridiculous but she stood there until I drank it. When she came in to check on me 15 minutes later, I had fallen asleep and stayed asleep for 5 hours! When I woke up, the headache was much better. I continued with the tea for the next 2 days because frankly, it tastes great."

[YEA] 03/17/2007: Jeff from Asheville, North Carolina writes: "My sinuses have given me trouble for the last 2 years. In particular, my left nostril tends to feel blocked and flair up. I have not been able to pinpoint a single allergy that could be responsible and I have previously had no major allergy problems. I had three rounds of antibiotics in the not too distant past and they were slightly helpful but did not eliminate my problem.
Tomato Tea makes me feel much much better. I do not know if this is simply treating symptoms or if there is a lasting effect. I do, however, know that anyone who is having sinus pain ought to at least give this a try. Even if it only treats symptoms it sure does a fine job of it. Thank you for this recipe, it has brought me great relief."

[YEA] 03/01/2007: Sarah from Romulus, MI writes: "I had the worst sinus pressure, so bad I was crying. I tired my mom's nasal spray, drinking water, sleeping and ignoring it thinking it would go away. Nothing. I found the tomato tea cure, with the tomato juice, garlic, hot sauce, and lemon juice, it is now 20 minutes later, my head feels better, I'm not sensitive to light anymore, I'm not tired, it's like a miracle."
