[YEA] 02/25/2007: Jeri from Toms River, NJ writes: "I googled "Natural Remedy for Sinus Infection" and the results brought me to this site. I am currently taking prednisone to cure a rash that was caused by antibiotics. So when I started to experience sinus pressure & pain on Saturday morning, I knew if my sinuses became infected, I did not want to have to go back on any antibiotics. I tried the recipe for Tomato Tea and within 20 mins I was feeling relief. I took a second dose in the evening and slept through the night with no pain or stuffiness. I can honestly say that I am amazed and thrilled that this remedy seems to really do the trick! And it's tasty too! Thank You!"

[YEA] 02/18/2007: Theresa (funnyfour[at]gmail.com) from San Diego, CA writes: "I've been suffering from chronic colds and allergy symptoms since November 2006. Stuffy head, congested, headache, just not feeling well. I've been on antibiotics, become a Sudafed junkie and bought Ocean nasal spray nearly every week. I read about the tomato tea recipe last week, but was skeptical. Today, after a restless night with not much rest, I decided to try it. I love tomato juice, so no problem there. Mixed with garlic, lemon juice and hot sauce sounded a little strange. To my amazement, it was DELICIOUS! I tried to breathe the vapors before I drank it. Within 1 hour, the headache was diminishing and I could feel my congestion lessening. Now, 4 hours later, I am almost congestion free and feel GREAT!!! Thank you SO MUCH for publishing this recipe ~ I'm going to recommend it to everyone I know!"

I developed chronic sinusitis that constantly giving headache and pressure. I tried all kinds of OTC medicine as well as prescription medicine, and nothing helps and with terrible side effect on heart rate and blood pressure. For my last three weeks, my sinuses were so congested that I could not sleep at all. After trying the Tomato tea, my sinuses clear up in about 2 hours. I continue the tomato tea treatment for the next three days, I have never felt so good in years. Best of all, the tea tastes good. Even my daughter loves it. I am not sure if the sinus problem is cure or not. However, I am enjoying my sinus problem free for a few days. Thanks. William"

It has only been 15 minutes so I can't say for long term but short term...this is great. I used tomato soup also. You can add what ever you want to season it and it was spicy but not too hot. Thank you for the recipe and thank those of you who took the time to share!"

[YEA] 02/08/2007: Dawn from Indianpolis, IN writes: "I developed a cold five days before a flight I was going to take. Went to the doctor who gave me steroidal nasal spray and told me what decongestant to take. By the time my flight date arrived, I was in a full blown sinus infection. Upon arriving at my destination, I did a search on the web for some help and found your tomato juice/hot sauce drink. Even though it did not "cure" the problem, it did bring me SOME relief. The whole left side of my face was hot, my left ear and teeth on the left side of face were killing me. After drinking your tomato juice concoction, the pain in my teeth and ear started to diminish and the side of my face started to cool. I drank this mixture five days in a row, and sometimes twice a day to relieve the symptoms. Although I need antibiotics to clear the infection, I can now tolerate the symptoms that no medicine would touch. Thank you so much for your help."

I remembered this recipe-Tomato Tea, tried it and with only ONE cup my head started to open and drain. Pressure was relieved, headaches gone. I had another 2 cups the next day and approximately 95% of the congestion is gone today. I am having one more cup tonight "to be on the safe side". I can't thank you enough for this remedy."

I had already been on antibiotics, larger dose of allergy pills and prescription nasal spray. I could not breath at all and I even had a lump in my gum from the sinus cavities being blocked. I drank it the two nights and everything started to clear up! Unbelievable. I did use Clamato juice as opposed to plain tomato. I swear you should try it!"

[YEA] 01/02/2007: Rachael from Dublin, Ireland writes: "I came down with a hellish sinus infection over Christmas week. Desperate not to go to a doctor and be administered the same-old antibiotics regimen, I Googled and found your site. Thank you so much!!! Even though I had a tenacious case of sinusitis, after drinking the tea for just over a week, 2-3 times a day, I am finally cured. As the infection ran its course, I was getting really, bad piercing headaches. The tea even gave relief from them. I highly recommend this tea. It is a wonder."

[NAY] 12/29/2006: Angie from Burbank, CA writes: "I used Tomatoe Soup/Tea V8, lemon juice, Tapatio hot sauce, garlic. I have had a sinus cold ever since Christmas Eve, which was 6 days ago, nothing(over the counter drugs) EVER help me so my sister gave me a CRAPLOAD of vitamins and herbs(like the ones in this recipe) to take, they didn't do too much. After researching online I found this recipe..although it only made about a 20% improvement. I took 3 servings last night and two servings today, not much better..I still have a an ongoing sinus headache, I can't taste anything, my left nostril is still plugged and my right one is dripping, and my upper teeth, ears, and neck are strained from so much nose blowing.."

[YEA] 12/15/2006: Barb from Michigan writes: "I did not heat it to hot, only to warm cause the hot pepper was hot! I used Hot pepper flakes, I dry my own. One time we were going out with friends and did not put in the garlic, it also cleared my congestion. The pepper flakes are wonderful in thinning out the mucous! Plus it is a very yummy drink. You can make it hotter if you want by adding more pepper, but the recipe is hot enough, my mouth is burning! lol, But I can breath, yippee!"

[YEA] 12/08/2006: Scott from Harleysville, PA writes: "My sinuses were completely blocked. Sudafed was working less with each usage. The last time I had a Sudafed, my nose was partially cleared for only two hours. The previous night, I had a bad sore throat due to the cold and breathing only through my mouth. I searched the Internet and came across a remedy of gargling with salt water. It worked within 15 minutes. Although my throat was better, I did not sleep well due to my clogged sinuses. By 11:30 last night, my head felt completely stuffed and I knew sleeping was going to be tough, so I thought I would see what remedies were posted on the Internet. I came across this site and the Spicy Tomato Tea. I am not a fan of Tomato juice or pure garlic, but I saw so many positive responses that I decided it was worth the chance. Of course, all of the super markets were closed since it was after 11 PM. so I went to the local Wawa and picked the needed ingredients. Except I had to substitute garlic powder for garlic, since they didn't have garlic. I heated up the ingredients and by 12:20 (less than an hour from finding this article) my nasal passages were clear. To my surprise, the taste was not too bad. I accidentally used a 1/2 teaspoon of hot sauce instead of the 1/4 teaspoon. I think it made it work better. I did wake up to blow my nose once during the night, but other than that, I slept well and my sinuses remained clear. This is definitely a remedy worth passing on to others."

(Hint* Probably should go to the doctor) So I found this site. My friend Chris made the Spicy Tomato Tea, and just the smell of it started to work. It didn't totally clear my case of congestion up, but It definitely helped a lot... I think the magic is in the garlic!... wow.."

[YEA] 11/19/2006: Casey from Boston, MA writes: "I have been sick for the last 3 days getting between 2-3 hours of sleep per night because I was so congested. I can't use nasal sprays or a lot of decongestants because I am a vocalist, and those products are very bad for the voice. Last night I went online to try and find anything to ease the congestion. I found this recipe and cringed because I hate tomato juice, but I figured I would try it anyway. I have been sipping on it for about 10 minutes now and already my sinuses are starting to clear. My nose is running like a faucet which rocks because for the last 2 days I haven't even been able to blow it, and my left nostril feels almost completely clear. Thanks so much for this recipe! Now I think I'll finally get to bed!"

[NAY] 11/12/2006: Mary from Thornton, CO writes: "Was so hoping the Tomato Juice Tea would help me breathe due to a bad cold but nothing had changed after several hours later. I also tried the Banking Soda/Salt mixture but that didn't help either. My niece told me about a grapefruit seed spray. Guess I'll try that next as I don't like using nose drops."
