[QUESTION] 09/07/2010: Sara from Mumbai, India: "Someone help me with this. I'm not able to find hp 3% anywhere so would using 5% to 7% as a mouthwash be harmful? pls rply at its earliest"
Replies09/08/2010: Amd from V Ville, Ca replies: "You will need to dilute it down to 3% minimum. So at 6%, just add the same amount of water, at 7% add more than that. Even start out diluting it a bit more."
10/16/2009: Tim from Berkeley, Ca: "Hydrogen Peroxide for dental care
I have been using hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash after I brush and floss my teeth for the past 8 years. I just use the 3% solution that you can buy at any pharmacy. I take a swig of hydrogen peroxide straight from the bottle and keep it in my mouth for about 30-60 seconds before spitting it out. It bubbles up and sometimes tingles. If you are not used to it, it will feel weird but it won't hurt unless you have an exposed nerve. Make sure not to swallow it. I don't think that it will cause any huge problems but it will probably give you a stomach ache. This use of hydrogen peroxide is great because it not only kills bacteria and keeps by breath fresh but also makes my teeth sparkling white. One time my dentist commented on how white my teeth are and I told him about the hydrogen peroxide and he jokingly told me not to tell anyone about it or he would lose business. "
Replies10/20/2009: Javier from Lebanon, Pa replies: "I have read a lot of things about what the HP can do. It is fascinating. The last sentence you wrote is exactly what I have always believed in. The doctors and the goverment today DON'T want you to get better, as much as they claim they "care" about your health. If you get 100% healthy, we don't need the dr's, right? They rather tell you that you can't do that, or that there is no such cure for a disease. Question:Why? Answer: because they want your money and for you to "believe they are the only ones that can help you". If peolpe around the world knew the truth, they would think different about doctors nowadays. Doctors today are just a scam to rip you off your hard earned money. I would challenge anyone that takes prescription pills to go to their dr and tell him/her that you dont want those pills anymore and that you want a "natural remedy". They would come up with 20 million excuses why no such thing exists. And if they by any chance "give" them somthing natural, that dr will lose their license, their practice, and their job because the government WILL shut him/her down because the government looses profits if a person gets "cured". Its a shame very little people realize this."
10/21/2009: Janice from Coloma, Mi replies: "In defense of Drs. I do think that most of them really do care, it's just that they have been brain-washed in school. Then to top that off, they are too busy to study natural medicine even if they wanted to and because they have no time, they believe what the drug reps tell them. I worked for a Dr. and she was very kind and cared what happened with her patients. She was open to some health things but honestly, she just didn't have time. I don't think they would put all those years into schooling if they didn't have a calling. Again, not all but I think the majority do care."
[BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS] 10/25/2009: Dianna from Citrus Heights, Ca replies: "To Tim from Berkeley, I recently used HP because of a tooth abscess. I swished about 1-1/2 tsp undiluted over the counter HP a couple of times. I must say it did help with the abscess tooth pain. Unfortunately, several days later, I noticed an extreme sensitivity of my teeth to hot and cold. I can only assume it was from the HP. Has anyone else had this experience? I haven't found anything thus far on the website that indicates that HP can harm your teeth in this way. I'm puzzled! I am still having trouble with that particular tooth abscess but am now reluctant to swish any more HP until I can find out what I've done wrong. I did not mix it with water and maybe that was the problem? Anyone with some feedback would be very welcome to respond!"
10/27/2009: Betty from Spearsville, La. replies: "Dear Dianna,I have used 1% hp to rinse my mouth and teeth. Yes, it did start to whiten my teeth a little but I noticed that it left a film on my teeth, just like the film I experience when I drink lemon juice which of course is very acidic. I stopped rinsing with it and my teeth feel clean once again, even though I do still gargle with it. I became concerned when a post I read said that hp can be very harmful to your teeth.
Betty"
[YEA] 08/09/2011: Corpoverde from Malate, Manila, Philippines replies: "Just started with 3% solution mouthwash, Initially, there was a lot of foam and bubbles coming out from my gums and tongue. Must be the bacteria being killed by the H2O2. Subsequently after three days of rinsing twice a day, my swollen gums have receeded and the sore on the side of my tongue has turned white and the pain diasappeared. Even my toothache was gone. Except for the tingling sensation on the tongue, the only other unpreferred sensation was the taste. So I mixed it with a few drops of astringosol to have that minty taste. Is this OK? Has anyone out there tried this?"
08/10/2011: Bubbasmum from Levin, New Zealand replies: "Hi good to hear someone is using hydrogen peroxide. I did the course of taking it internally as suggested in the book "The one minute cure". But I use it for brushing my teeth with baking soda. Its the main ingredient in tooth whitening products so its all good. I only use it a few times a week. I also have it in a spray bottle in a 3% diluted mixture and use it for a number of remedies. Great for killing nasty bacteria. I also spray it down my ear when I get a sore ear and throat and it bubbles and lie down for 10 minutes then tip it out and it heals the ear. Sorry I went off track a bit. Get excited when good products help people. :o)"
11/26/2012: Mable C from Osceola, Arkansas replies: "I recently went to Wal-Mart and bought a bottle of 3% HP because my tooth was in pain every day and night for about 2wks. And my dental appt. was exactly 1 month away, I would either have to find another dentist or fix the pain myself, since the pain killers I was taking wasn't effective enough to help. I started using the HP and the pain eased significantly, by the next day I really wasn't in any pain just uncomfortable feeling that the swelling left behind. After a couple of more days of swoshing it around in my mouth a few times a day, there wasn't anymore pain and know I have been pain free of this toothache now for the second wk. And I still have 11 more days until my dental appt. on Dec. 4th. Thanks for HP. It saved my toothache from aching."
[YEA] 08/01/2008: Mel from Garner, NC: "I have been brushing my teeth with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda for years, especially since new information is out about the harmful effects of flouride.
For those who have been warning that hydrogen peroxide should not be taken orally, why is it that so many over-the-counter toothpastes now advertise hydrogen peroxide as a beneficial ingredient?
Keep up the good work EC!"
[YEA] 01/06/2006: Roxy from Kingston TN: "I use Hydrogen Peroxide when flossing my teeth. Mix the HP 50:50 with warm water and close your mouth tightly while you are flossing. I used the reach flossing thing and it worked really good. Just try it. HP is as good if not better and cheaper than name brand mouth wash. It helps with gum disease."
Replies[YEA] 06/17/2012: Citygirl27 from Richardson, Tx, USA replies: "I use HP in my water flooser (Water pik). I fill it almost up to the top with water, and put a splash of HP in the water pik cistern - that is the receptacle wtih the water in it. I do this about 2-3 times a week. Also keep the pressure setting at 50% or below. Don't focus too much on one tooth, move around quickly, and don't do this much more often, because eventually it will erode your gums if you use it to excess. I use my orthodontic tip to splay the pressure out more so the stream is less pointed. Doing this a few times a week keeps my teeth in great shape. Great before upcoming interviews, big social events etc. It is like the water jet in the dentist except better! You can add your own stuff to it, and change the pressure. I use non-alcoholic mouthwash in my W. P. On the off days. This is also brilliant if you have braces or other orthodontics and can't floss normally."
[YEA] 10/07/2005: Donna from Aspen, CO: "Plaque removal: use 1/2 capful hydrogen peroxide in a little bit of water and swish around in your mouth after brushing."
Diabetes

06/28/2011: Erica from Sterling, Virginia, Usa: "Does anyone have any info about using H202 to reduce need for insulin for diabetics? It is odd, or perhaps it's a new phenomenon, being diagnosed in old age (79 years old), not as a type 2, but as a type 1 diabetic, which usually appears in early childhood. We slender, insulin-dependent diabetics have been termed incurable type 1.5 diabetics."
01/30/2011: Lynn from Anywhere, Oh: "Question: Please help, have multiple ailments and would like to see some feedback on H202 therapy from diabetics that have already used it. God Bless!"
Replies02/01/2011: Maria from Lanham, Prince Georges Md. replies: "Hello,
Please anyone, can you tell me how a type 2 diabetic can benefit from this therapu?"
[SIDE EFFECTS] 06/12/2011: Patricia from Denver, Colorado Adams replies: "I have had type 2 diabetes for 2.5 years. I have a heck of a time with drugs. They all seem to make me sick. I haved used hp for about a year. Do you think I can get were I can get my sugars more stabil with the drops. The rest of my blood work is great need more help with sugar- use about 5 drops a day more seems to upset my stomach."
06/12/2011: Lisa from Los Angeles, Ca replies: "Are you on Glucosamine or Chondroitin or statin drugs by chance. These can all raise your sugars. Try organic apple cider vinaigre.. look at the thread for that as it works faster than peroxide."
06/18/2012: Abraham from Tulsa, Oklahoma replies: "Alright, I took full advantage of 35% food grade peroxide. I'm not stupid, but I admit I overdid it a bit by going way over the recommended dosage for 3 drops three times a day for a beginner. My first time I took it, my self-insisted dosage was 25 drops about seven times a day, and that was like the first three days, then I thought what the hell I might as well go at least 40 drops per glass as many times a day as I can. All I can say is that the suggested dosage of peroxide, that is, the purging protocol, is really small compared to what your body can really take in. Seriously, I'm on my like second week and deliberately don't eat that much so I can take in as much as I can. Being sixteen I admit I have never had as much energy. Seriously my energy levels are that of a GOD. Right now I'm in a public library and I have this arrogant sense of how stupid everyone is and how powerful and god like my body is, because of my peroxide. I previously never had had any health problems yet it felt like I did because I've never felt as energized and go like as I am now."
Dilution
02/26/2013: Teresa from Spruce Pine, Nc : "I have been doing alot of research on Hydrogen Peroxide and from all that I am finding, when mixed with water it breaks down VERY quickly. Is this not so if it is mixed with distilled water? If not, how long will it last after mixed?"
07/09/2012: Helpyourself from Houston, Texas: "Your 29% Hydrogen Peroxide - 1 oz. To 10 oz. distilled water. Mix 1 oz HP to 10 oz distilled water. Good luck!"
07/08/2012: Freda from Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada: "Can some tell me how to mix 29% hydrogen peroxide with distilled water so that I can drink it. I have COPD and hopes that it can help me!!! Thanks"
11/11/2011: Tanacious from Phoenix, Az, Usa: "I would like to share a reposting of a helpful H2O2 Dilution Table that someone submitted a while back. It works wonderfully!

Dosage
06/02/2013: Jimu from Concord, Ca., USA: "Hi, In the ebook "Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide - One Minute" it states this:
If you find the taste unpleasant, try diluting the hydrogen peroxide with six to eight ounces of milk, aloe vera, or watermelon juice instead of water. If you are still bothered by a bleachy aftertaste, cut down on the number of drops you put into each glass and increase the number of glasses you drink each day, or simply drink some water after you drink the oxygen water.
I've been through this therapy twice before using only 5 ounces of distilled water per dose as the other book I read recommended. And I will definitely follow my intuition and body signals foremost. But I would like to discover if it is quite more benefitial to consume the stronger water mixture 3 times daily over the same amount of drops per day divided into 4 doses of water.
Thank you very much."
02/27/2013: Steve from Waterlooville, Hants, England: "I'm taking 35% FGHP in milk, as per instructions, and was wondering if I could use deionized water rather than distilled water due to the cost?"
09/15/2011: Janna from Katy, Tx, Usa: "Hi there,
Well now my children's stools like orange redish, and my 3 year old that only wears a daiper while she is sleeping went in her diaper before I could get to her. I would definetly say her body is cleaning out, but is there any way possible I am harming her with the h202? Please I am deseperate to know. There is still redness in her private parts and I don't know what else I need to do.
Thanks, Janna"
09/14/2011: Janna from Katy, Tx, Usa: "Good day sir,
Finally I found someone to help me give this to my children. I have a 3 and 2 year old and I'm nursing a 3 month old. I have been taking h202 for a week and I'm at 10x3. My children are not past 2x3 becuase I'm not sure about there bowel movements. My son and daughter both have food intolerences/allergies to dairy, wheat, and sugar. That is the case for my husband and I as well. My children's stools are very soft and my son (more severe case) had liquid stool for a day or so. Not sure if it was the cheddar cheese or the h202.
When should I see improvment?
Am I hurting them?
How high can I go with them?
What are the risk taking it while nursing and giving it to my young children?
Thank so much in advance for your wisdom, availablity, and kindness in answering my questions.
Thank you, Janna"
Replies09/16/2011: Lily from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia replies: "Hi Janna, I would not be increasing the H202 for your children, they are only 2 and 3 yrs old. Most people are taking H202 for cancer and viruses not food allergies. I suggest you don't give your children the foods they are allergic to and leave it at that. I also think you are taking far too much H202 whilst breastfeeding."
