Emphysema Remedies
"Emphysema is a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), formerly termed a chronic obstructive lung disease (COLD). It is often caused by exposure to toxic chemicals or long-term exposure to tobacco smoke.
Emphysema is caused by loss of elasticity (increased compliance) of the lung tissue, from destruction of structures supporting the alveoli, and destruction of capillaries feeding the alveoli. Thus the small airways collapse during exhalation, although alveolar collapsibility has increased. This impedes airflow and traps air in the lungs, as with other obstructive lung diseases. Symptoms include shortness of breath on exertion and later at rest, hyperventilation, and an expanded chest.
Mild emphysema sufferers often maintain perfect blood oxygen levels by hyperventilating, and so are sometimes called "pink puffers". By contrast, sufferers of chronic bronchitis (another COPD disorder) are called "blue bloaters" because they have cyanosis (inadequate oxygen) due to an almost normal ventilatory drive caused by decreased sensitivity to carbon dioxide secondary to chronic hypercapnia. But any COPD disease results in hypoxaemia (decreased blood partial pressure of oxygen) and hypercapnia (increased blood partial pressure of carbon dioxide)." (Wikipedia)

Cayenne is one of my favorate herbs for myself and my clients. I had prostate cancer 18 years ago and I cured it naturally using herbs, cleansing and diet only. For the cancer I used the John Ray Christopher method of cayenne tea with a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in warm water 3 times daily. Today I still use one or more teaspoons daily in my food at every meal. Just recently I received a call from a Doctor of Chinese medicine who was throwing up blood from ulcers. As I alway do I suggested cayenne capsuls using 100,000 heat units plus. He could not believe that this would work but he took my advice and within a few days his problem was over. Of course I also gave him some advice on changing diet and lifestyle. In my 18 years as a naturopahtic healer I have used cayenne many times for bleeding ulcers. Cayenne also works great for emphysema sufferors, I have seen patients get off oxygen bottles and out of wheelchairs. But the person with the disease must go beyond the herb for the disease and look at the way they eat and their lifestyle. No mention of what amounts he used, how much it was diluted, how long he inhaled, was he on oxygen and if so at how many mmpm?? very vague?? Lacked important points of information. I did get some Mullein from an herb store but don't know if they are the leaves, the pods or what. Followed the rest of the instructions and mine did not turn black after boiling for a long time. Sort of like red from the Cayenne pepper. However, I did drink it for several days now and I have not had any clearing gunk from my lungs. I will try it for a few days more but if Jack can e-mail me and he drives thru this area, perhaps he can help me. I quit smoking 1-1/2 yrs ago after smoking for 43 years and I KNOW there has to be some awful stuff stuck in my lungs that I would dearly like to expel."

First of all let me tell you that for getting up mucus and what seems like cleaning the lungs (I think) your formula cannot be beat!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could breathe all the way down to my feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It feels wonderful.I started walking without getting out of breath and now I can walk forever! I tried jogging (a VERY short distance) and was pleased with the results. Problem with jogging is I am just not up to working that hard yet...but I am off to a good start. As far as a cure....I am not too sure. Healing is one thing and cure is another.
