Three weeks ago my daughter came to me with what we thought might be insect bites on the upper part of her leg (bottom of her bottom). They hurt. Visually they didn't look like much more than a mosquito bite. Three days later she came to me again. The "bites" had escalated frighteningly!! They had turned black on the inside and were whelped in red. Before we jumped into the car for the hospital (Sunday), I sat her in a soaking tub of Sea Salt - like half the container of it. After 20 minutes there was an incredibly noticable difference!! The red and the whelps had both gone down. I ran to the store and bought 5 containers of sea salt and had her sit in it twice a day. I had to go out of town shortly thereafter for a week.

During this time she let the salt soaks lax and was not interested at all in showing her father the problem (LOL), When I got home the lesions were on BOTH of her upper legs!! Back to the store for more salt. I've had her sit in it three times a day. It's been three days and they are almost completely GONE!! It's unbelievable!!

Sea Salt for Intestinal Cleansing

Hi, I have recently tried a sea salt flush. the first time I took it was in the evening, after I had eaten a light supper. I had a bowel movement, but nothing serious. Then I repeated it in the morning on an empty stomach with te same results. Both times I used 1 tablespoon of sea salt and a litre of water.

The next morning upon rising, I mixed two tablespoons of sea salt in warm water and added the juice of half a lemon. App. 60 - 90 minutes later it was working like a charm.

I read that if it doesn't work, you may need to use more sea salt. Make sure you drink plently of plain water as well, to keep yourself hydrated. I was extremely thirsty after drinking 2 tablespoons in the warm water.

Sea Salt baths have almost cured my eczema in a matter of weeks. Get a good one that has minerals and put about 3/4 cup into the tub. I've also started taking iodine tablets.

For the sea salt cure, I would suggest taking a non-refined sea salt. I like gray Celtic sea salt, and pink Himalayan salts. They have other minerals and are not just sodium chloride. Watch out for refined salts as they do raise sodium levels, but natural raw salts help balance sodium in the body.

For the sea salt cure, i do this sometimes. i just put a pinch of sea salt into my drinking water. the reason i started doing this was a few times when i got blood work done - the doctor asked me: don't you eat any salt? he said i was sodium deficient! i have never heard of that - but i realized that i really don't hardly ever eat fast food and i don't use much salt in my cooking - so i try to get my sodium this way. if anyone knows why this shouldn't be done... please write! thanks

After reading about your problem and the responses. It seems your point of attck may be the problem. If someones blocking the front entrance...you gotta go to the back door! You can either go to the local RXall and purchase a bottle of saline solution with the long nozzle and apply up the rectum, or you can pour out the solution and make your own. A mixture of Garlic, coffee & warm water jet streamed into the rectum will do the trick. If not! you need a colonic for parasite evacuation.

Lately, having seen microscopic pictures of table salt, sea salt, and himalayan sea salt, I've opted for himalayan sea salt's live crystals, called sole (so-lay) when dissolved in spring water. I'm impressed with my increased vitality since I've been bathing in it (see www.profoundliving.org for benefits including magnesium chloride absorption). I bet it has great antibiotic properties.

Being a yoga teacher I am also advising of the benefits of neti, using himalayan sole, in which you inhale it through one nostril and exhale it through the other.

I do notice increased benefit over regular sea salt, again increased vitality and calmness, a sense of well-being. I guess that steam inhalation would have even more benefits for bronchitis or asthma.

Another benefit I enjoy is less stress from time spent on the computer when I burn a beeswax candle in a himalayan sea salt container, supposedly removing negative ions and electro-magnetic damage. I plan on buying a few lamps in different colors for their color therapy.

Arthritis in Dogs

watercure2.org site is right about the salts and curing pet arthritis.

I used Salts to help my GSD dog with her hips. I used Himalayan salt, which I turned into "sole". 1 teaspoon a day right into the food. My GSD dogs LOVE it!!! Within days she was up and running, chasing the ball. No more whining when she gets up or down. The only issue I had with using the salt was the detoxification effect. I paid 50.00$ for flea repellent (NO CHOICE BUT TO USE IT, I have tried EVERYTHING natural to keep the fleas away) To my surprise everyday when I combed the dogs the fleas were still there in large amounts. After a few weeks, I thought OH, I bet the salt is detoxifying the flea chemical out their bodies. I stopped all salt treatment, waited two weeks then bought new flea stuff and Wala! Fleas gone in a few days.

Now I only use the salt as maintenance. In the winter when the fleas are gone, I will be giving them small daily doses of the salt, until flea season comes again.

This is a follow-up to my earlier post. After posting my comments I decided to modify my regimen for arthritis and chronic constipation to the following: Still one teaspoon Celtic Grey Organic Sea Salt on an empty stomach each morning in a 16 oz bottle spring water, followed by a 10oz cup of spring water, with the juice of one fresh squeezed lemon, I teaspoon ACV, 1/8th Teaspoon Organic Cayenne, and an optional teaspoon of either Organic Agave, or Organic Grade B Maple Syrup for taste. I just tried a cup using the Organic Blue Agave I purchased at Trader Joe's, and the taste was quite good. It's best to avoid fluoridated water it you can, that's why I use the bottled Spring Water. I will probably add a second cup of the tea a bedtime. Will post again after a few months to advise how well it worked.

I just completed the 10-day Master Cleanse after suffering from arthritis and chronic constipation for the past several months. By day 3 of the cleanse the 2 teaspoons of Sea Salt in 32 oz of Fluoride free water every morning (on an empty stomach) really made a difference. My constipation cleared up, and the arthritis in my lower back, hip, and knees really improved. After reading the posts from all of you I am going to try drinking a 16.4 oz of spring water with 1 teaspoon Sea Salt, and two Tablespoons ACV in it, and see how that works. Ron

The Water Cure Recipe:

Drink 1/2 your body weight of water in ounces, daily. Example 180 lb = 90 oz. of water daily. Divide that into 8 or 10 oz. glasses and that's how many glasses you will need to drink, daily.

Use 1/4 tsp. of salt for every quart of water you drink. Use salt liberally with food. As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt. Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. These are diuretics and will dehydrate you. Every 6 oz. of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 10 to 12 oz. of water to re-hydrate you.

Dehydration

Water cannot do its thing without salt. Salt is number 3 on the list of things you can't live without. 1 and 2 are air and water. I suspect that if you do not take salt (preferably unprocessed sea salt) the body will break down the calcium in the bones to get at the salts they contain. I've done a lot of research on dehydration but have not seen this correlation anywhere. It is merely my suspicion due to the relationship between chronic dehydration combined with low salt intake teachings and the epidemic of osteoporosis. It is suspected that over 75% of people in the US are chronically dehydrated which means that 75% of the human bodies in the US are operating in emergency, water rationing mode. Sipping doesn't count and neither do other liquids. The body does not process other liquids the same way it processes plain water on an empty stomach. Water is used by every system in the body. Including the process it must go through to steal water from the colon. My personal rule of thumb is that any liquid that is not plain water belongs to the colon.

When you do not have a bowel movement, this means that you will need to adjust the salt content, less or more. Also if you have chronic constipation you may want to try just drinking as much water as possible, to flush the system. Parasites or Candida could be the cause of constipation, in either case the salt water flush is needed, along with any other process to eliminate.

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I had this problem all my life, a stopped up runny nose at night. I took a quarter of a teaspoon of unrefined sea salt and the very first night it cleared up! Now, I have a problem with dry mouth! But I can live with this. Anyone fighting to breath at night knows the misery it brings. I am finally getting a full nights rest! If you try this, make sure that it is UNREFINED sea salt.

WORKED TEMPORARILY

I got a UTI about a week ago. Slugged down 2 teaspoons of sea salt in 8oz water. Gosh, that was rough! I felt no more pain in my bladder, but had been drinking cranberry juice all morning. I was symptom free for about a week. It came back today, I drank only 1 teasp sea salt this time, and it didn't touch the pain. It cleaned out my bowels, which helped with the overall bloated feeling I also suffered. Now I'm trying Apple Cider vinegar. It's helped with the pain, although not completely. And it tastes way way better :D

Husband got what looked like a pimple on his neck. By the next night it had gotten worrisome big. Went to your web site and found the sea salt cure. We dampened a wash cloth, poured some sea salt on it, and he held it on the boil for twenty minutes. It went down in just twenty minutes!

We then taped a cotton ball soaked in castor oil and dipped in the salt for three nights, and the thing is gone. Thank you so much Carol Ann
