This is another way of applying egg white for reducing fever that I learnt from my Chinese Grandma. Hard boil the egg and remove the egg yolk. Put the hard boiled egg white including the shell in a handkerchief. Twist the content into a ball and massage body from head to toe. Brings the temp down instantaneously. My Grandma would also insert a silver ring in the egg white content when massaging. Silver would change to different colours when rubbed on different patients. This was used to diagnose the cause of the fever and then she would use (ying/yang) herbal treatment for the illness. Sadly, I am unable to read the silver ring. My children always ask for an egg massage when they have high temperature and it always does the trick.

Finally convinced my boyfriend to try this remedy after two days of an uncomfortable non-stop fever. OTC medicines are doing nothing to bring down the fever. Didn't work. In fact, his fever went up slightly. He'll probably never take my advice again! Oh well...it was worth a shot. Not everything works on everybody I guess.

My 2 year old daughter had been fighting a fever for over a week and the fever did not want to subside. I searched on Earth Clinic and found the Egg Whites for the fever remedy and kept it in my mind to try. Well my daughter woke up with a 103 fever and I gave her the mixed dose of Tylenol and Motrin as my doctor had instructed. After 45 minutes, the fever had gone UP to 105! I began to panic and remembered the Egg Whites. I placed 2 Egg Whites in a bowl and soaked 2 paper towels in it. I wrapped my daughter's feet with the soaked paper towels, put little zip lock baggies on her feet with a rubber band at the top to hold them in place, and put her socks on her feet and waited. 30 minutes later her fever was down to 102. 1 hour after having started, her fever BROKE and was down at 99. I took the paper towels off her feet and they were HOT. I washed her feet and that was the END of her fevers after over a week of struggling! I've told all my friends! THANK YOU!

At 8:15 I gave her a children's tylanol which usually takes about an hour to have any effect on my 3 year old. Her temperature was 39.3 C.
I put the egg whites on her feet in plastic bags, which she insisted on keeping open rather than tightly wrapped. Within 20 minutes her temp was 38.3, and in 30 minutes it was 38.0. She started to feel much more lively, much to my relief. The fever didn't break, so I don't know, should you repeat this treatment a few times? Anyway, so far so good. I'm thankful to see some improvement anyway.

I had read about this cure when it was first written and never had the chance to use it but always remembered it, because it sounded so unusual. A collegue of mine recently told me that her son had come down with a cold and that he had a fever and she was worried about it and when she phoned the doctor he just told her to give him some childrens tylenol. Well like any mother she still worried and told me that he wasnt feeling well and had a fever and so I told her about this remedy and she tried it on Friday night (5/30/08) and she said that it worked and took away his fever for 3 hours and then she re-egged his foot! Haha! Its such a weird theory but it really works! And she said that the eggs were partially cooked when she removed the paper towels and socks.
Thanks for this amazing remedy!

I have a 3 year old with a fever over 103 that motrin didn't seem to be helping. Out of desperation I looked for alternatives to a cold bath. I put a baby wash cloth in a sandwich baggie along with 4 egg whites, which i warmed to room temperature, double bagged for each foot. The to help hold them on and to keep the egg from slipping out, I used a fabric hair scrunchie around the ankle. He was not a big fan of the idea at first because it felt odd, but within 15 mintues he was sitting up and his fever had dropped by 1 degree. After 1/2 hour it dropped another 1/2 degree. Its been 4 hours since the Motrin and 1/2 hour since the egg whites. Next time, I'll head for the fridge first! Thank you EC!!!

My 10 y/o daughter has been sick maybe 6 times in her short life. I pride myself with using natural remedies, chamomille, ginger, running alcohol, vicks, etc. Today after tring Tylenol, OTC stuff and nothing working for the fever of 101.9 and 102.5 I found you. TG! I just placed the egg whites on her feet and the fever has started to drop. I will check back with you later to give you additional feedback. Hubby sic too! I gave to them last week and feel yucky myself. Thank you so much!

Since my husband had pneumonia almost two years ago and was on a respirator for ten days and in rehab for ten days, I worry when he starts feeling sick. Last Saturday he developed a fever, sore throat and weakness. I came to this site and searched under "fever". There were a lot of testimonials about egg whites. So I put three egg whites in a bowl, took a washcloth and rubbed the bottoms of his feet with the mixture. (not telling him what I was using, because he would have said no) Within 20 minutes, before my son got back from the store with Tylenol, he was sweating and his fever was gone. The next day his temperature was 101 again so I did the same thing with the egg whites. It worked again within 20 minutes. I also started giving him extra vitamin c, sprayed ionic silver in his mouth and put some in his water. No fever yesterday or today and no sore throat. He still feels a little weak, but that's getting better, too. I don't know if he was starting to get pneumonia again or if it was a cold or flu, but this time he didn't have to go to the hospital. He goes to his doctor tomorrow for a checkup. Thank you so much for this site. I love it!

I don't know if you have tried Grapefruit Seed Extract but it is a "miracle" cure in my life especially for respiratory problems. I work in a school where the teachers are always getting sick and invariably the GSE cures them and can also prevent the viruses from taking hold if you take it at the first sign. Sounds like it might be hard to get him to take it and it has a nasty bitter taste so it is very hard to disguise but the curative effects are simply amazing and it does not cost that much because it is so concentrated. Has MANY MANY uses as well.

1st let me start by saying Thank You, wow the egg whites remedy is amazing . My son is 13 months old and he had a fever since .Friday on Sunday it went up to 103.5. I panicked but i remember that i read about using egg whites the night before. I was kinda worried because i didn't know if he had an infection he was not crying or showing any ill signs. no ear ache etc... he was playing eating doing his normal things but with a high fever. I tried the egg-whites he cried only because it was sticky and cold . he fell asleep within the hour he was sweating and the fever was gone Amazing I was really worried because he is a baby on the other hand i was really scared that he could get into something more serious if i didn't help break the fever and be in the hospital all night in the waiting area and the baby still burning up with a high fever. Thank You so much this website is a great help of course if the fever would have continue i was going to his doctor 1st thing in the morning... I Recommend This website To anyone I Am so Happy With the Results God Bless

egg whites on the feet. It worked so well. I took two egg whites into a bowl, i put my sons feet in ziploc bags, poured the egg whites in and squeezed the air out. I put a hair scrunchie (cloth didn't want it cut off circulation)around the top and put socks on him. He didn't like it but with in about 10 minutes his fever had gone from 102.8 to 99.3. THANK YOU SO MUCH! p.s. I then washed his feet in anti bacterial soap. I didn't know if egg whites carry salmanilla(spelling?).

Egg Whites For Fevers I tried the egg white cure for fevers and it worked! My daughter was sick with a 102 degree temp. I soaked the bottom of a pair of ped socks in two egg whites, slightly beaten and put them on my daughter's feet. I then placed a plastic bag over each foot to keep the bed sheets clean. I put another pair of socks on top of the plastic bags to keep them from slipping off. I kept it on a few hours at a time and reapplied twice after that. To my surprise the fever really did go down in a little less than a half hour. Her fever went from 102 degrees to 99.4. One thing though. My daughter developed a tender spot on the bottom of her foot that really hurt her with the slightest of pressure. That's when I stopped the applications. She really didn't need it after that, the fever had broke but now she was left with a very tender spot on the bottom of her foot. The tenderness went away afer about a day. Can anyone tell me why this happened AND why does the egg white work?

Our son had been running a fever for the past couple of days but earlier today it spiked to 103.9. Out of desperation my wife searched the internet and came across your egg white remedy. After only 15 minutes his fever had dropped to 102 and then to 99 within 15 minutes later. Amazing yet excellent remedy to say the least. Thank you. This is one we'll definitely remember.

re: Egg Whites on Feet to Bring Down Fever. Thank you! I used this solution on my boyfriend (who was suffering from a 103.5 fever) and it brought it down to 99 within 30 minutes. I couldn't believe that it worked, but now I'll definitely reach for the egg whites, cloths, and plastic freezer bags the next time any of my loved ones need a quick, natural, and efficient fever reducer.

My boyfriend had a fever of 103. Knowing that a fever is good and natural way for the body to fight off infection... we waited... then got nervous when it wasn't going down, and only going up. I soaked two wash coths in a bowl of seven egg whites. He said it was cooling and comforting... within 20-30 minutes his temperature was down to 99.0! It's totally worth a try. Thanks to all for the advise!

Egg whites cured my 7 year olds fever OMG...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! After a full day of fevers at 102.6 to 101 I needed to get this fever down. All day long I used over the counter drugs to try and get his temp down. It worked for a hour or two and then went back up. Knowing that I could not give him and medicine for another three hours I went on the internet to try and find another wat to lower this temp. I came across your web site. I have heard about the Vicks on the Feet in order to cure a cough before so this made sense to me. I used 4 egg whites and paper towles, wrapped his feet and put socks on top of the paper towels. Within 30 minutes his fever went from 102.6 to 99.6. We still have the egg whites on his feet and will see how tonight goes but this is the lowest his temp has been ALL DAY.

My 5 month old son had been fighting a fever all day and after a 6 hour trip to the ER with a fever of 103.2 no one could seem to help. They told me to keep giving him tylenol and eventually it would get better! IT DIDN'T!! The lowest we could get it was 102.1. That night around 2:30 am my son woke up screaming with a fever of 103.9, I began searching the internet trying to find something; anything tha night work. I came across the egg whites remedy and figured it was worth a shot since nothing else was working. I put the cloths on his feet, put his socks on and just a few minutes later his temp was down to 100.1!! I can't believe this! THANK YOU!!!!! My son is now back to laughing, smiling and kicking around. This was truly a miracle! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

My husband had been fighting a fever for a few days, we'd been treating it with fever reducing OTC drugs, as well as trying to sweat it out. It suddenly spiked to 103.7. He took a cool bath, after which it was up to 103.9! Panicked, I googled remedies for fevers and came across this cure. We tried it, I wrapped eggwhite soaked cloths around his feet, and covered them with socks. Within 20 minuted his fever was down to 102.4. I had him set his feet (with the socks and eggs still on) in a bowl of ice, he also ate ice chips and we put a bag of frozen veggies on his head. After about an hour we removed the ice, eggs, etc. and now he is sleeping peacefully on the couch with a fever of 100.4 and falling. I don't know if it was the eggs or the ice or a combination of everything, but thank you to whoever posted it.

As I'm typing this, I'm so grateful for the egg white remedy! My son had been running a fever for three days, I was getting weary and thought i would spend Christmas Day in the Emergency Room,I begin to pray and ask Heavenly Father for help. I had faith and i knew somehow i would receive a blessing. I began to worry when i was awaken by my son's cry and when i picked him up he was burning up, i was so afraid i called my husband and informed him that i would have to go to the hospital, and i gave him so OTC meds. I decided to wait and see if he meds would work, but like any mother i could not just do nothing, so i decided to to a search online and saw your posting, after reading it I ran downstairs to the kitchen and used the egg whites. I soaked his in cloth bandages and placed socks on top, and WOW! It WORKS! IN A MATTER OF WHAT SEEMED LIKE SECONDS THE FEVER BEGAIN TO BREAK!! THANKS THANKS THANKS!!!!!!!!

My 23 year old friend had come down with a high fever. I had tried everything that I could think of to break it. Finally, I decided to go online and research. Thank God, I came across this web site. Now applying egg whites to one's feet is really gross but I was willing to try anything. It has been about 30 mins and the fever has been slowly dropping. Which is a miracle.. Thank you..

5 year-old son had a fever of 104.8 and we were about to go to the emergency room. We googled "How to break a fever" and this site came up. What did we have to loose? So we tried it. two minutes after we did it we were at 102.8. fifteen minutes after we were at 101.5. thirty minutes after we were 100.3 and one hour after we put the egg whites on his feet his temp was normal. awsome!

I was so happy i cried! The egg whites remedy is soooo true! My little boy had a fever for two days. He's normally a happy little guy who's always into everything. Tired of seeing him laying around and not being himself I took to the net to find a remedy. I was kinda skeptical at first but when he climbed in my lap and fell asleep burning up from fever I thought what do I have to loose. I quickly rushed into the kitchen and soaked two towels. I wrapped his feet and even though he didn't like the feeling I just held him and told him he'll feel better soon. About two mins later the fever had dropped drastically. He said mommy...can I have some chips...I was so happy to hear him say that since he hasn't been eating! I cried when he got up from the bed and walked to the kitchen. THANK YOU!!!!!

My son had a fever for over 3 days. His temp reached up to 104, which we gave him Tylenol to bring it down. I was excited to try the egg whites hoping it would work. His temp was 102.3, after applying the egg whites with in 20 minutes it increase to 103.5. I'm not disappointed though..I believe in natural rememdies... :-)
