Even I have been taking ACV regularly, but my BP keeps on fluctuating and has always been consistently in pre hypertension range, with maximum times being in hypertension range with readings like 138/92 or 144/96.

Along with ACV if I exercise, it helps in getting it down and to me the breathing machine resperate seems to help as well.

When my blood pressure gets high, I take 30 drops of olive leaf extract mixed with water, then I take a glass of water with 2 table spoons of ACV. It works wonders for me. The horrible headache and nausea immediately disappear. Hope it helps. You can get the olive leaf extract online.

Hi Folks, I have read with a lot of interest many posts on this website. As someone who has had essential hypertension for many years (160mm/100mm, unmedicated and 130/90 with three medicines - angiotensin blocker, Ca channel blocker, and beta blocker), I have been on the quest for drug free cure. I am 47, in good health, work out every day (ran a marathon last year), and watch what I eat carefully. The doctors have not been able to ID what is the cause of my rampant high BP.

I have begun the ACV protocol and I am noticing substantial improvement over the last few weeks. But more importantly, several studies have been done in Japan (medically accepted double blind studies). Please note that in Japan, vinegar is a part of the food (sushi has vinegar/rice). Here is one such study.

The key is to look for impact of acetic acid on hypertension. Acetic acid is the primary component ACV. Acetic acid has a substantial and sustained impact on high BP AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS. I have quoted one study here. There are many more. No wonder there is not a whisper about these studies in the medical circles here - the drug companies cannot make a buck on this. There are may causes of hypertension, I suspect that ACV affects only a few of the pathways, hence the variation in results.

BTW, it would appear that acetic acid is used to reduce tumors on the adrenal gland (functional adrenal adenoma) by injecting acetic acid directly into the tumor using Computed Tomography. This fixes a condition called aldersteroma (?) which lowers BP for people who have essential (cause unknown) hypertension.

Life is Good.

Hi all, I am 28 years old and have had pre-hypertension for about the last year...usual readings were anywhere from 120-130/80-87. I stumbled upon this site in hopes for a natural remedy to lower my numbers. I was giving the raw, unfiltered ACV to my pets (just a bit in their water) and I had never tried it myself. For days 1 & 2 I used 2 tbsp. 3 times a day diluted in 10 ounces of water, then went to 2 tsp. 3 times a day.

All I have to say is that the results for me were amazing. After 4 days of taking ACV, my numbers are already lower. I just took my BP this morning and it was 110/63, and this is the average since I've been taking ACV. My fiance and I work in the medical industry and have a very expensive, trusted digital BP cuff we use here at home, so I am not worried about these results not being accurate.

First let me start with I found this site by a search to find a source to assist with HBP on 1/3/2010. I was told in 2007 my BP was Pre-Hypertension 151/114. I was not put on medication right away. I asked to attempt to reduce on my own. Because I was unsuccessful, I was put on 5mg of Lisinopril. I developed symptoms, coughing, limbs going numb, low BP. also, this med was not successful in maintaining my BP. My BP has been averaging from 139/110-132/98. After reading others testimonies, on 1/7/2010, I purchased the mother ACV. That evening I mixed 1 tablespoon of ACV, 1 tablespoon of honey in 8 ounce of water. On Friday 1/8/2010 repeated the process 3x during the day. As of 1/9/2010, I cuffed as soon as I woke up BP registered 120/85. After rising and handling several task I cuffed again BP 98/76. I DID NOT BELIEVE IT SO I CUFFED AGAIN. My BP was 106/81. YES, IT WORKS!

Thanks for your site and all the responses.

high blood pressure

I was diagnosed with exercise induced hypertension about a month ago. I am very lucky as the cardiologist told me he believes in natural medicine and he gave me until February to get better before he would put me on blood pressure meds.

The apple cider vinegar has worked. I love it so much I drink it at least 3 times daily. I put 1 tablespoon in about 8 oz.water. I add 3 packet of real lemon and 2 packets of truvia. I add ice and it tastes like a tangy lemonade.
Initially when I was worked up they had to stop the treadmill because I went in with normal BP and in 2 minutes it was 220/118. I was shocked. Never in my life have I had this problem.

Last week I was running many errands and walked back and forth across Target twice..I felt so tired I thought uh oh I better check my B/P. I went to the pharmacy and it read 130/80. That is still not my usual low BP but I think that is great after running around all day

In January of this year I was getting headaches and an uneasy feeling---feeling out of sorts. I am a nurse, so I had other nurses take my blood pressure and it was elevated 160/90. This just added to my anxiety because, as a nurse, I know of the devastating effects of not treating hypertension. A coworker has been on a health kick and swears by a 'tonic' that helps 'everything'. I too decided to try it. I mixed 1 cup of _______ vinegar, 1 cup raw honey and 8 cloves of garlic in a blender for about a minute. I then poured it in a clean glass pickle jar, put the lid on it and kept it in the fridge for 5 days. All this time I was checking my BP and was getting consistent readings of 150 to 170 systolic over 86 to 94 diastolic. On the 5th day, I shook my 'tonic', poured 2 tablespoons in a half glass of low sodium V8 and did this once a day for 2 weeks. At the end of 2 weeks, doing NOTHING differently except taking this everyday, I have a miracle to report. I no longer have headaches when I'm running up and down the halls, no more uneasy feelings----and the reason? My BP is back to normal. My readings are now 120 to 130 over 78 to 86, over and over again!!! NO ONE WILL EVER TELL ME THIS DOESN"T WORK ---I HAVE PROFESSIONAL WITNESSES! About 90% of the staff on my floor are converts....Something so simple with none of the side effects my patients are on with some drugs we dispense like candy. Don't be foolish---see how good you feel after a few weeks on this stuff....I feel like a kid again and even sleep soundly! That in itself is worth a million bux.
