After Covid I had a chronic cough for 5 years. Every morning I coughed like a smoker, lots of crud. This was totally different from a spasmodic cough from some outside irritation. Finally I wondered if it could be a chronic mild fungus unfection, enough to keep lung surfaces irritated and weepy, but not an actual bacterial infection - as I never was actually sick once the Covid had passed. We have a bottle of natural traditional turps, which I know is strongly antifungal. I was nervous to try very much, but I wanted to do a serious campaign to see if it worked. Every morning I put just 12 drops on a spoonful of sugar and washed it down with hot coffee. It tasted wonderful! In 4-5 days the cough was gone, and to keep it away I took the 12 drops a couple times a week. It's been 6 months now. I mentioned this to someone else who has a chronic "smokers cough" despite never smoking, in fact I gave her the remains of my dropper bottle to try it since I know the product is only seasonally available. She returned it the next day, saying it smelled bad, tasted bad, and just 5 drops gave her a stomach ache (she was also being cautious). I told her about the article on kerosene for cancer by Walter Last, and how he finished by comparing plant oils to gasoline. Turns out she has always loved the smell of kerosene, gasoline, lighter fuel, all of which I despise. So I think the mix of turpenes in the "natural" product is not to her system's liking, but that the other might be an alternative.
