I see there was no responses to you or Wattsy. I hope your dog is OK. My lab mix was just diagnosed with lymphoma and only got an appetite after giving her prednisone. But it is not a long term solution.

Rebecca, poke root has been known to be curative for lymphoma. I am not familiar with its veterinary uses, but... if I were in your shoes, I would look into it. In humans, fresh root harvested in the fall is chewed up spitting out the pulp, or juiced (I did a 1/2 inch piece). It is quite purgative and emetic, that passes in a couple of hours, and it cleans out the lymph nodes like nothing else I know.
Dogs may react differently than humans. Maybe you can find a herbalist vet to advise you.

I should clarify: the piece I have taken was about 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. I chewed it up, swallowed the juice, and spat out the pulp. The purgation came in about 2 hours and lasted 2 hours. Felt great in the morning. :-)

One of my dogs was diagnosed with Lymphoma in July 2024. I chose not to do chemo. I am treating with prednisone, Salmon oil, turkey tail mushroom powder, cbd and a 90% raw diet. I also use probiotics, bone broth and some immune support supplements. They gave him 8 weeks without chemo. I have greatly reduced the prednisone dosage for my 40 lb dog as the dosage the prescribed was causing too many side effects. I now give 5mg and 10mg alternating days. He is doing well and just passed the 8 month mark. I hope you find something that works for your dog.
