Beet Juice
★★★★★
I drink 4 oz of beet juice, and take 1 Imodium tablet before bed.
The beet juice was a lifesaver for my morning diarrhea. Also low fat may be fine but I need a constant small amount of fat all day long for the bile to be used and not end up in my lower colon. I had my gallbladder removed 25 years ago and have suffered with diarrhea ever since. I have not found a doctor in 25 years that understands the condition or will listen. The internet is where I had to go for help.

I have been dealing with a combination of symptoms for going on 30+ years. I also have been diagnosed with Diabetes, I had my gallbladder out over 32 years ago, at the time the doctor told me then that I had some pancreatitis. After surgery, no doctor followed or gave me any advice. I was a very sick lady, I still have issues but they are not as bad as they once were.
I know that I have issues with bile and it coming out in the toilet at times when I have to relieve myself with a bowel movement. I have suffered way too long. When you do your own research and go to a doctor telling them what you have researched and want to see if they will check you, they will then say, or mine did, I really do not see the need. Well maybe you do not see it, but me as your patient, I see it. I deal with IBS as well.
I am currently on 2 diabetes medications, and a vitamin D3 tablet. Soon having to add CREON to my regiment to help my body absorb the foods that I eat and help break then down for proper absorption.
My fasting blood sugars are too high, no matter what I do, and it sucks. I know it is all related to how the pancreas and liver are working together, but mine is not doing such a fine-tuned job now is it.
Well we just have to try to do the best that we can.
I wish all who are having these issues the best.

Hello! I have had a myriad of issues since 1992. I believe that I had an appendicitis that went undetected and then had scar tissue that surrounded my lower bowel. I went through 2 years and 2 pregnancies with these issues. Both babies OK, but the pain after delivery of my daughter in 1996 was so bad, that I was taken to the emergency room. I had a barium enema (since I could not have a colonoscopy bc my intestines were so swollen). There they found a restriction and I had 18 inches of my intestines removed along with my ileocecal valve. All good without a colostomy until 20 years later, my gall bladder was very inflamed and not working...no sludge. I had it removed and all well until 2021. Now I have BAM. I was visiting with a Holistic Practitioner who gave me these enzymes that have saved me so that I can eat most anything without a problem. But now that the bile is not binding, I asked for a binder. I did not want to use a pharmaceutical drug so I started a binder that made me feel terrible, so I had to quit. I have also found that HRT has helped tremendously with my thyroid and my anxiety for being in public with issues. I welcome any ideas for natural bile binders that do not require me to change my already boring diet. Thanks!
Hi Tracy,
If you haven't already tried it, Apple Pectin can trap some of the bile acid and allow it to be excreted.

Bile Acid Remedies
Gallbladder removed Dec 2021. I am female early 50's no problems until 2 months ago. Greasy peanut butter color stool, pain if I eat too much sweets or drink 1 glass of wine. Kidney, Liver and Pancreas lab was all normal-3 months ago my Amylase levels was 150 but it's now 108.
2 weeks ago started having itchy skin with no jaundice but itchy all over, especially at night for about 5 days and then 2 days this week.
Relief found in baking soda baths and histamine otc meds. Doctor told me today without testing of any kind that I am producing too much Bile and gave me a rx - does anyone have a cure for this and what are the symptoms of too much bile vs producing too little bile, again without a gallbladder? thank you and this site along with Ted's suggestions has helped me numerous times.

Get a Sensitivity Test
★★★★☆
Getting a sensitivity test, via hair samples, and allergen tested via a blood test can definitely help guide a person in assisting in their symptoms.
I am not sure of the validity of the hair test, and plan on doing another test soon to see what comes up... but, I stopped one of the triggers I was highly sensitive to, and lower left Sharp postin 2is virtually gone and (while working to do an entire elimination of all of them) my belly pain and bloating has improved.
I believe I am on the right track.
My blood test from the doctor's office said I was low on iron and potassium and? One other thing.
And the sensitivity hair test said I was lacking in five others;and so I'm working to build those up by eating foods that bring that back into my body naturally. I can only be helping myself at this point
