Hi Annie,

The seriousness of your condition requires that your doctor approve and supervise the use of any suggested supplements.

The first supplement to consider is ginger root powder capsules (GRPC). Yours is an unusual case, but GRPC can often help alleviate diarrhea while offering gut healing effects along with gut calming effects. Here is a link to such a product :

https://www.amazon.com/Ginger-Root-550mg-Capsules-Pack/dp/B002LIGSI2/ref=sr_1_34?crid=3FNGQFXXULIA3&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.tV1dzcC3BP9pfKIhr0BJBZp0FSRUh0QV9ndar7nHiM6ak5801IHON2AknOGBMBcqvROLP8om3qHi5-TCUHzkhR2W_hUOveOq37e4iTZuuw1LfrxcgOEg_V0Q8pNM_R3B66enMdoBwkxT6djL934VEWA0RBqGBaVCsBnDl_dsvTsRbB3LqhA5hrWp60dWNQC8SVIhdcyYrymmuebd9YDC_jLBG7dwq_naKuQkIUtrnZ5KJbAdSXudIoRXj11PRQWq7bAoDv8e9Mf-Le0FgOmYW6K8i7dhZ5PlaIQHYl9qzRE.Av013UlIOvDUItCa-zI6fAne5oZmQaCsL5yxRF1BgMw&dib_tag=se&keywords=ginger+root&qid=1752517167&sprefix=ginger+root,aps,184&sr=8-34

For pain relief you can try this topical product :

https://www.amazon.com/Stopain-Strength-Glucosamine-Arthritis-Analgesic/dp/B0C43VW573/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?crid=E8U8WF3OFEJ0&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9._V1B0D_m783c7805IT4dhgfllE4-he80xETb_jEuBVyUSteF0CyAlijYF-BZhcD5DYVKNVe3SFfqbt4kMmJsDgaZwtuCdYmDprc4QbFTBTkkrVflR4SY_RB_geqRk9IXY5w7y7ub6-vqvBugCQI4ZUXCalHXkHzpV4FoVrqpEWkWZqeKFZ2stKT-er6Tgv-vx5mhWD9CY_jqeWTQHh7_2urXl_b76CmCX0FecSThdahgIzydCL9HqVEcvIqNCqAIhMrIESr8LLkdBHrTXAyJePe-3zbNzCPX_3iqSCtPNHk.Ue6LJRsS-_RkgNdeSTLiMC2ZO7YtT-M5Jeta2pykISw&dib_tag=se&keywords=Stopain&qid=1752517330&sprefix=stopain,aps,283&sr=8-4-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

For topical pain relief with potential longer term healing affects you can consider melatonin gel (MG) or melatonin lotion which I explain how to make yourself at home here :

https://www.earthclinic.com/supplements/melatonin-gel.html

You don't say if your doctor thinks the diarrhea is caused by an infection or the injury and that information would be useful to know. If an infection is the likely cause, Monolaurin might be useful for fighting that infection and helping to rebalance the gut microbiome. Here is a link to a typical monolaurin product :

https://www.amazon.com/Nutricost-Monolaurin-1000-Servings-Capsules/dp/B0CP4MG1X8/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.VlFGz8Jj04CwYq_jipcBkAkXlLTZByViF8bVBHGk16dzmKTKFGKEv9Kc1lT4rX_OMjf1mTQ6B5uyOXameEQLRbgVSzMDOgoSCOBu9DQFlg0vEyxXzrnxSXf2YuVE8SQBjcU7NfHUWXoOJpV0U1OwLhXPTZVOUGaqADB2uSpPBx9Aaq70ZizaQ82FBcibKPoiTm8LCww_ID82o8zsNEcv4hXemU3ZtGpYWZ80szT_1h88P2TqezIfLIj7VothmVyIOcMuy8UWIn1yZue1uG-JiT_XrvzkR7lKav058KI-IbA.NH1n4fZ_X4T_TR8hIN6fuLcjlRIylxXpPmFu6awo_3w&dib_tag=se&hvadid=694683931182&hvdev=c&hvexpln=67&hvlocphy=9031574&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=2763776096693183172--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=2763776096693183172&hvtargid=kwd-298868345026&hydadcr=21846_13323238&keywords=monolaurin&mcid=fe63bb7e4df33889aa3d07e7c26bf4a3&qid=1752517990&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

Another consideration is temporarily eating foods that tend to slow transit time through the gut. You can just do a google search for such foods, but this should only be done temporarily.

Please keep us posted on your progress!

Intestines removed: need of a remedy

I have a seat belt injury in a motor vehicle accident and had 72 cm of intestine and colon removed, along with my appendix. The accident was over 3 months ago, and I am still in pain with chronic diarrhea. Is there a remedy that can help in healing. I also have severe back aches due to the impact.

HELP WITH CHRONIC PAIN

My husband had LD 20 years ago. We went to a doctor in Pennsylvania and were treated with antibiotics and vitamins. He had good results, but I think he is having issues again. He is on so many RXs, it is unreal, so I am afraid of trying and of the remedies you guys have used. He has heart issues and has had a triple bypass. Now he has been diagnosed with Alpha-Gal, which is another tick-borne infection from the Lone Star tick. He can not eat any red meat because of this. He is having severe neck and back issues and is always tired. Can anyone help me with any of this.

Vicks VapoRub for Ringworm

Sam (Paris, France) on 07/14/2025
5 out of 5 stars

Hi, I’ve been dealing with three stubborn ringworms — as persistent as chewing gum stuck under your shoe!

I’ve tried so many remedies: ozonated olive oil, Lugol’s 5%, hydrogen peroxide, apple cider vinegar (ACV)... The last one I used was ACV. It burned like hell and left open sores that oozed continuously.

After doing some research on natural treatments, I decided to try Vicks VapoRub on my ringworms — and guess what? It works! It’s such a relief to see them fading day by day. I use this ointment on my skin twice a day.

Unlike ACV, which burns the skin, Vicks gives a warming sensation without the pain.

Vicks VapoRub contains key ingredients like camphor, menthol, turpentine oil, and eucalyptus, which studies have shown to be effective against certain skin infections.

Thanks to Earth Clinic, I initially considered trying Absorbine Jr., but it contains acetone, which I wanted to avoid.

If you’re struggling with stubborn ringworms, give Vicks VapoRub a try — it’s working wonders for me. I’ve included some study links below for reference.

Re: Natural Remedies for Tendinopathy Needed

Art (California) on 07/13/2025

Hi Schafer,

I have a question for you. Have you completed an antibiotic regimen in the past year? The reason I ask is because a family of antibiotics called Fluoroquinolones which include these three common antibiotics called Ciprofloxacin (commonly referred to as Cipro), Levofloxacin and Moxifloxacin have shown the potential to damage tendons.

I think it would be useful to consider the following 4 supplements and discuss them with your doctor to get your doctor's approval and supervision before using them.

1. The first item is a specific collagen supplement that I saw work in a friend who was told by his doctor that he would need surgery to repair torn tendons and ligaments in his shoulder. I wrote about his experience with the collagen supplement here :

https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/collagen-for-torn-ligaments.html

Here is a link to the product he used to good effect :

https://www.amazon.com/DR-EMIL-NUTRITION-Supplements-Hydrolyzed/dp/B07PYQJBH3/ref=sr_1_3?crid=X6CF5YDG82PP&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.KKAtCLFK6Dls6o76UGNHo3GvakI3HlQcoUAcBi1ZhXNbI2Pj7CGOiZSo-ONJxutoL03hnw9zeRRC8HqrjdncO6jQuKRD-v9uskxDUnadKzftslFCDPaHR2PMFroyvo95YAxhfxyj7vOac0xIQcJI46FEouj8PEBzCL0sqTI3HbuWliGLnkGMoIGlH8B7ZYY5ciUS8n_Cf4s-O0lZwSdCe5H5ZorBiNyf_ZLhyMV81Jw7JCT_ejgAP1lwRVfzC7HKkI06pg4D64uyClVNsEUFtYbFTGAcZykg4wgLuRWw_Bw.WCIb7iDy8ZDubEbxousdbt_vIhBU5Qn5C977VjUgqzk&dib_tag=se&keywords=dr+emil+multi+collagen+plus&qid=1752462907&sprefix=Dr+Emil+multi+collagen,aps,203&sr=8-3&th=1

The second supplement to consider is a multi 3 in 1 consisting of glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM :

https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Glucosamine-Chondroitin-300mg-Capsules/dp/B0013OSMRK/ref=sr_1_8?crid=1SXHH8YAU5HXA&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.VofPf9bas5--GUvvCkjXr91UlikOcMCJNSEI5RB1rWI4dQkJFBIa6qJ_kCWvzo7vSvfXZe8G6prAPeiEsn6uxKEQxVbNOse8RtKgX07oSX6RQNBOb69y53aD76uF-hYMG69-IoaUAupSYhmdj4x2abrW5h0ybvFZqAIt6cWzRlckXYbWO1hs_Py9zPrxI74v1QNWyhGOSSBVKuyObMV9DFCmLLlQH6m5mA6F4hsouq1PEhUWOeyZ_5sSZ9gWM1ge8EfINyRZLnA9mFOlqIDZNQSOyUg6kcdAAkEICIbImwc.RhOC7skux7xU_TZpKYQQlEqwlBUTJ2Xkp5FjIF_5XRA&dib_tag=se&keywords=glucosamine+chondroitin+msm&qid=1752463031&sprefix=glucosamine,aps,249&sr=8-8&th=1

The third supplement is vitamin C with zinc :

https://www.amazon.com/Nutricost-Vitamin-Zinc-120-Capsules/dp/B08DWGTT56/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=2YTOLXH7WMKM9&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.BbwcSRnt3a3gfIciMhNj_vXcvjhSgmuCAG0pkUrVyuJ8zZYIuTueBAmpTypgXxek1p_2bG-i-6oc1t36nQPDRhMM_hBu8pmp-ylWv75SR1FoK8DmiPQ26vCOa6pTZ4xVSoXQWSVCdeGFGsKof8g-lDlkuz18V14oNUQ4gLO4N7iGGahZFSYJg8MA3zD1k_jzpqm6cQyokcJwCFFwqYrCbrxbAZfVTgq_iZfYIRRDnMLwsx8sm8XrAqY4Yabcq6pR7SwAWOPP4BVecTWE-ioBHW1QJXMl1BtypMaAgsD7LTQ.V2MYz_CTStCmFCvihLt2-Yrl3RcIh3tDAUHVyaktR8s&dib_tag=se&keywords=zinc+vitamin+c&qid=1752463132&sprefix=zinc+vitamin+c,aps,264&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

All of the above at label recommended dosing. If your doctor approves them, the above represent a reasonable approach to try and improve tendon and joint integrity using common and readily available supplements.

Please keep us posted on your results and during the healing process it might be a good idea to curtail your sports activities allowing your tendons to heal as rapidly as possible without incurring further damage.

Natural Remedies for Tendinopathy Needed

Schafer (Kalispell, MT) on 07/13/2025

Hi everyone,

My name is Schafer, and I have had Quadriceps and Proximal Hamstring Tendinopathy for about 3 years now. Tendinopathy is basically an overuse condition of the tendon - like the one above my knee cap - that can have a lot of pain from any sort of increase of loading in that tendon. So like when I go to suddenly change directions in basketball or when I’m attempting squats, those tendons are loaded and can cause a great deal of pain.

I’m looking for any advice on some natural remedies that may help my tendons as it’s began to affect my day-to-day activities - not just while I’m lifting or playing basketball.

I just was referred to this site so if you have a possible solution please also email me at: bungayschafer(at) gmail.com

Re: Borax

Art (California) on 07/13/2025

Hi Betsy,

Yes, a friend had his TSH level significantly decline once he started on borax, but not with other friends where their TSH levels were not affected. Science suggests that boron has the potential to increase TSH levels, but not in all people.

So yes, it appears to be very individual.

At 6 months into borax, I would have expected it to have resolved your arthritic pain. Since the niacinamide is no longer causing the rash, maybe you can increase it again and reduce your borax dose back to Ted's recommendation for women.

Keep us updated on your progress.

Re: Cholangitis

Giorgio (UAE) on 07/13/2025

Your doctor should have told you that that specific genetic condition affects the BSEP, meaning the Bile Salt Pump. So, if the bile is not pushed out it stagnates and damages the liver (oxidative damage). You must research what the best BSEP activators are, provided they work in your condition. These BSEP activators simply stimulate the gallbladder to push the bile out. The best known is artichoke, to be taken (at least) 30 minutes before food. Taking TUDCA will NOT solve the issue. The stagnating bile will be stagnating and continue to damage the liver. You are simply replacing stagnating bile that won't move with bile from outside. Yes, it will gloss over the issue. That will do

Betsy (Virginia ) on 07/13/2025

Thank you, Hollyhock, for your reply. I remember when I first started borax back in February with a mere 1/16 tsp that it gave me relief in just a few days. At the time, I thought it was expected to slowly increase the amount to eventually reach 1/8 or 1/4 tsp (and as I’m about 60 pounds overweight the 1/4 made sense for me). Perhaps it’s different for everyone as it’s probably dependent on absorption rates. I take a daily diuretic which likely flushes it out of my system faster than someone who doesn’t take one. Good luck with the biocell collagen! It didn’t have any noticeable effects for me.

How can you say it doesn't lessen your levels? You've only had 1 test for comparison! To better know you should keep it up for a few months, test again, and THEN you will know if your levels lessened or changed. Also, your área is heavily chemtrailed, so who knows what your levels were 1 yr or 6 months ago?, you surely don't.

Chronic Skin Infection Successfully Healed With Onion Pack + Egg Whites

Katzie (Cancun, Mexico) on 07/13/2025
5 out of 5 stars

After sustaining a wound while out with friends one night, and not using soap&water on it right then, I got an infection on my lower left leg, on the outside, where I fell. The next morning it was already pretty sore.

I used all my standard infection remedies, ie colloidal silver, hydrogen peroxide, castor oil packs, ACV, etc. All worked to a degree as the wound never got bigger, and the redness and heat went away, but the wound was not healing, more like just holding-the-line. There was no puss in this wound.

I read a post on another site where the person said that if you like a cure and feel it's working, then stick to that. I realized out of everything I'd been trying, onion packs felt the best. I knew the infection did not like it as after being wrapped, it would sting for 10 minutes, and then go away. Never any puss pockets to pull out, but it felt so much better so I ended up using it every day for almost a week. After that the wound was red no more, was getting smaller and the pain lessened.

This wound woke me up several times at 3am or 4am with pain, not severe but it hurt. Knowing that every infection leaves damage behind, I was concerned. I also noticed alot of people missing legs around here, too. Wow.

The skin around the infection was also affected: slightly swollen (just slight), pink but not red, and I felt a burning/stingy/tingly sensation, like it was slime growing "in" my skin (which is probably what it actually was).

After 5 weeks of the thing, I realized that everything I'd tried all facilitated the release of oxygen and the wound wasn't gone yet, so my thoughts turned to smothering it. I used an egg white, whipped it with a fork (to facilitate easy application), and used a small brush to cover the entire area, from the top of my foot to my knee. I did this in the morning. I could feel some slight pain an hour or two later, but never felt it again. Must've been in its death throes. The infection was gone by the next day!!

In looking at pictures online, I realized I may have had that flesh eating disease, but it never progressed past that first morning in size, redness, pain, etc. And I hear that it is a fast progressing disease and I had to fight it really hard to just hold it in place and not get worse. Did I have it or not, I will never know, but the pics sure were similar. I was too scared to look them up before I could get a handle on this thing and my eyes popped out when I saw similarities to my own wound. Did simple things like an onion and an egg stop flesh eating disease - the answer is, it could have; I sure think so. I've had infections before in my time, but never one like this. I am glad to see it gone!

Stay well, everyone.

Betsy, some people do well on just a "pinch" of borax. We're all different. I read a study on the use of boron, and the result was the lowest dose gave the best results for the participants! And a member here on EC named Prioris, he mentions a supplement called biocell collagen helping arthritis. I plan on ordering it this week.

Thank you, Art. Actually I’ve been on borax since early February of this year and have been very careful about slowly increasing it from 1/16 tsp to 1/4 tsp over those 5 months.

This morning I read another person’s account of how borax decreased her TSH to the point that she’s had to take about half her thyroid med. I guess it’s different for everyone?

Niacinamide worked well for me by itself until I developed an itchy rash so I had to discontinue it. After a few months I added it back but at a reduced amount of 500 mg twice a day. Between the two I have much less pain, though it’s not completely resolved. Was hoping to experience that after being on the 1/4 tsp for a while (which has only been 6 weeks as of now).
