I take a capful of apple cider vinegar for my blood pressure. I been doing it for a year and it’s effective. The only downside is it can irritate my bladder if I take it everyday so I monitor my blood pressure and if it’s normal I skip a day. Fasting after 7pm also helps lower my blood sugar on days I don’t feel like taking it. If my blood pressure gets higher I will switch to Olive leaf extract or beet powder.

I have a sensitive esophagus so I tried the ACV Gummies I try to buy ones without oil, you can find them at grocery store/Amazon.Anyway, my diastolic blood pressure was in the 90’s for months. So I started exercising on a stationery bike 5 days a week, drinking hibiscus tea and taking a teaspoon of flaxseed daily. I took my blood pressure it was 117/82!!!! I could not believe it. I do have to continue the things listed above or my bp increases. The ACV gummies help my arthritis too.

Having a family history of early death from heart disease and stroke, I was concerned when I began to develop high blood pressure. Just two nights ago, my concern turned to alarm when my systolic blood pressure readings were anywhere from 164 to 192! I came to this site and began reading. I've never liked the taste of apple cider vinegar, but I took 2 tablespoons that night. Later I took my BP and the reading was still the same.

The next morning, I started again with 2 TBS and about 1/4 tsp of baking soda to help neutralize the taste. Later that afternoon, another 2 TBS. That evening I took my blood pressure and it was down to 122/83. This morning, the third day, I measured again, and it's now down to 117/82!

To say I'm grateful would be an understatement. I'm going to continue this treatment every day from here on out.

My diet has been relatively healthy, and I'm thin for my age, but I'm going to work on eating more vegetables and fruit, and exercise more. But the ACV has been the real game changer. Give it a "shot" -- a shot of apple cider vinegar!

I started taking ACV 2 tbsp in the mid morning, after I eat. I mix it with a bit of water. I like vinegar, so it isn't too bad for me to get it down.

My blood pressure readings have gone down approx 10-15 points systolic and about 10-12 points diastolic, doing absolutely nothing but drinking my ACV. I plan to reduce my medication at my next doc visit. ACV and this website are MIRACLES!

My friend had been on blood pressure medicines and was unsure of what to do when her doctor went out of town and she couldn’t consult him for continuation of the dosage.

I suggested that she take a tablespoon of ACV in water or fruit juice once a day till the doc was back and she could consult him again.

2 weeks later, the doc was back and after testing her told her she needn’t go back to the medication again:)

When the mother of a 20-year old told me he’s been having IBS ever since he was a child and that they’ve tried everything including holistic treatments, we decided to try the ACV. Same dosage of 1 tablespoon with water or fruit juice once a day. By the end of the first bottle his IBS was gone. It hasn’t come back in the 5 years since then:)

There was a time when my blood pressure was up, all I had to do was take a small amount of apple cider vinegar and my pressure would be OK in a short period of time. Now when I take the so called apple cider vinegar all I get is what else do you have! What have they done to the real Apple Cider Vinegar? I am not the only one asking this question.

Apple cidar vinegar is a miracle worker for me...since I have been using it for about 3-4 months now alot of things have drastically changed.

Let me remind you all that I have had severe high blood pressure since the age of 18 and today at 49 my pressure is normal and for 4 months I am meds free! Although my doc cant figure out how my pressure is normal and I havent filled my prescription in months.

Secondly, I deal with fibroids which makes my stomach bulge but the apple cider v has decreased the blood flow tremendously during periods. Although I am finding ways to shrink fibroids the ACV is shrinking my body weight like crazy! I took birthday pics and when I looked at myself I was greakin shocked! I looked damn goood and like 10 pounds lighter w no photo editing. Every morning I use 1 tablespoon a squeeze of lemon in 8oz of water. Then before dinner same routine. This works for me...

But I warn you DO NOT self medicate with just ACV if you have serious health issues.

For me I wanted another alternative to wean me off bp medication and for me it worked. 4 months later and bp is still normal as I take it every morn. ACV is my miracle worker and I will use it til im old & gray.

You may not see immediate results. I have been taking ACV for about two months and recently my doctor decreased my blood pressure medication by 1/2. My blood pressure has been too low! I suggest you give it a try! I mix raw unfiltered honey and cayenne pepper.

2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (ACV) mixed in a 12 oz glass of water reduces my blood pressure (BP) in about 30-40 minutes. I have a home BP monitor, ACV consistently reduces my systolic by 10-20 points and diastolic 10-15 points.

I have High Blood Pressure and was taking Atenolol/Chlorthalidone (100-25mg Tab) for some time now. What got me started on ACV was that my doctor told me that my cholesterol numbers were high and that medication would be the key. I refused because I did not need another drug in my system. I got down to the last of the HBP pills and had to wait for more funds at that time to get more. I panicked but prayed about my situation. I had pounding headaches from no longer being on the meds. ACV (with the 'Mother') was put in my path because of the cholesterol issue so I began taking 2 tbsps with a full glass of water twice a day (began 12-09-16 day one). I then noticed that the headaches subsided over night. I was led to go on the web to research about HBP and found Earth Clinic. I found it positive and uplifting and there were people like myself who wanted to 'heal thyself'. I am now on day two of the regimen taking ACV 2tbsp with a full glass of water (I use a straw and it tastes ok) 3x per day (upon rising after prayer, midday and before I go to sleep). I meditate and walk around 1 hour per day; then I do light yoga daily. Everything positive and healing I focus on and do. My doctor's appointment is in January and I will see what happens. In the meantime, I will continue the regimen, find a reliable BP machine to keep up my readings and pray as well. I am also keeping a tally of my regimen to share in the future with all here.

I read one of the reader's posts (thank the reader) and it talked about beta blockers. The meds I was taking has a beta blocker in it and it blocks calcium from being absorbed in the body ( we need calcium! ). The Chlorthalidone makes you potty and you flush out Potassium (we need that too! ). These drugs are like 2 edge swords sort to speak; they are supposed to help you but hinder you down the road. I am so glad I have the gumption to do research and not buy into the pharmaceutical companies hype. One billion dollars is earned in that industry and people are getting sicker than ever. Enough of the soapbox for now. I will keep the community updated and thank you all. Be Blessed!

Shortly after starting my days off with 1tbs of ACV mixed with 4 oz water, I started to get light headed and nagging little headaches. I am currently taking meds for high bp (lisinopril-hctz 20-12.5 m), stopped taking ACV and everything cleared up. Once I am sure that was the cause of the issue I may start up again but starting out with lower amount of ACV and building up.

Does Apple cider vinegar really lowers blood pressure? I doubt because my husband is taking it constantly for past 15 days. No effect at all. he is using Braggs Apple cider with mothers 2 tablespoons with raw and water twice a day.

Well I have to say ACV is the way to go to lower your HBP...It's the best thing ever! I got diagnose with Bp it was up setting for me. I had went for my annual check up tho my blood results were excellent my Dr. didn't understand how I got Hbp my reading was 165/100 now its 110/73 by just drinking Acv it's AMAZING it really works.. I'm not on any medication I go natural it's the best way to go tho you have to get use to the taste. You have to be consistent with it this is my secret. I drink it every morning b4 anything with 2Tablespoon of Acv, half a lemon w/ a 8oz warm water. I don't eat or drink anything after drinking it, So it can hit the bloodstream after an half an hour I do... Listen this really works and it's the best thing...You have to be consistent with it in order to see results..Trust me it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the idea of using raw, unfiltered vinegar. Anyone who believes that they can get good results with filtered, and bad results with unfiltered is either a liar or a rare exception.

I started out using the typical store vinegar in the jug. It constipated me so bad that I had blood in the stool. And I believe it is because that vinegar "cleans" your intestinal walls to the point of making it VERY difficult to pass anything through. This even sounds dangerous to me.

But since I began using the good stuff, I haven't had this problem. Now I will admit something that might get me flamed by certain vinegar advocates.

I was normally using the new Heinz raw vinegar that Walmart began carrying. And with good results. But I had heard of Braggs many times. I later realized that the Amish store down the road carries the Braggs. So I bought a bottle of that just to keep on hand. I decided to begin using that. And it seems like only a couple days after that I began feeling weird. Turns out my blood pressure was up. Now is this a coincidence? I have no idea. But I at least know the Heinz stuff works. And it even prevented an allergy infection my 6 yr old was trying to get.

I respectfully disagree. Actually, I couldn't disagree more.

Years ago, when I read about using ACV for my high blood pressure, I had some 'regular old' ACV in my cupboard, so I used it and it worked well.

After reading many testimonials here on EC (similar to yours, stating that using organic ACV vs. non-organic was "essential"), I bought and used the organic variety and it 'essentially' did nothing. My blood pressure was back up, full throttle.

When I returned to the regular old ACV, my blood pressure went back down again, and I've stayed with it ever since.

I have had great success also---in only 3 days -- using apple cider vinegar for high blood pressure.

I had been feeling very tired , weak and had a headache for several days. Actually, months! I usually take my blood pressure often because my mother and sister had high blood pressure controlled very poorly by medicine. I've been borderline for years. I finally got up the nerve to take it and was shocked to see it was 196/115. I never go to the doctor, but could see this was serious. It was on Thursday. I decided to try acv.

I drank 1 tbls with the juice of a lime in about a half cup of water. I did this 2 times on Thursday, but pressure still stayed above 190/105. I took the vinegar once yeasterday morning , did not take my pressure but still felt bad. This morning I took a dose, and an hour later took my pressure. I noticed I felt better. Pressure is 145/90. I am so happy. I will take my pressure daily now and continue drinking the Apple Cider Vinegar daily. I hope to see these numbers continue to drop to normal.

Thanks Earth Clinic!

I would say "ACV" is amazing. I was always in this thought that I ve "White Coat Syndrum" but it was not the reality so I was dignose with HBP(reading 160/100) in May. I want to try some natural remedies instead going on medication as I am taking medication for high cholesterol. I found this wonderful site of natrual remedies. I started taking ACV on Aug. 14 (this day I had Cardiac stress test and my BP was 165/110) within 4 days my BP is down to 133/88. Really I am surprised to see the results THanks to "Earthclinic"

How I take ACV? After reading almost every page on this topic, I choose take it like this:

3 tbls(0. 8 oz) of ACV and 1 tbls of Honey mix in
8-10 oz of warm water. I take it in the morning and bed time.

That s IT

I'm responding to the acv. I had the same success with my blood pressure. Someone said that their pressure went down within 45 mins. of taking the acv. I figured it was worth a shot, it's only acv. It went down in that time frame. I feel wonderful joint pain and knee pain even went away. It's been three years now. Thanks for sharing your hb pressure info. Thanks everyone. Thank you Earth Clinic.

I am a 67 years old female. I am on three bp medication a day. I take my blood pressure everyday and it averages between 127-145/77-82. I consider this high and try to monitor by taking Apple Cider Vinegar with honey.

It does help to lower it. When you are adding baking soda to it, I would say be careful. I have acid reflux and have to be careful about the intake of acidity. Never go off or change your medication because you feel better. There could be other underlining issues.

If you are on blood pressure medications, follow your doctor instructions and don't assume that ACV will do the trick. Be careful with self diagnosis.

I have heard of using apple cider vinegar (ACV) before but never tried it. Unfortunately I ran out of medicine and couldn't get a refill until I saw Dr. My Bp has been rising over last few weeks. On yesterday it was 160/100. I couldn't sleep I thought I might die. I prayed about natural remedies went online and saw this immediately went to get ACV.

This morning it was 157/96. At 5 144/90 I have taken apple cider vinegar twice today and now 137/78. This is lowest in 2 weeks. I am still going to Dr. But I thank GOD. I will continue my ACV.

My blood pressure was 199/100 when someone suggested I take ACV mixed in a large amount of water, thru a straw 3xs per day, which I did. Within a month, every one of my crowns fell off. Never had the problem before or since : ( Now I take over the counter meds (not happy about it) now as I am afraid of what else might happen. Very expensive lesson.

Last Thursday I had my BP taken and it was 164/104 that was at 6AM I waited 10 minutes for a retake and it had went to 160/107. I donate plasma and have on and off for years and that's how I know this. There have been other times the last few months where it's 159/99 or 165/103 and so on. I do have neuropathy in my feet which can be very painful and I had taken 2 ibuprofen and 2 acetominophin at about 4AM as my feet were in a lot of pain. I like to donate plasma so I can have extra money for the week and I also know a couple people who rely on it and even if it's not mine my friends have nurses out to their homes and hook up to the pick line to do the medicine delivery. I couldn't donate that day and it was a bummer so I went to my car got on the Internet on my phone and found this site and that morning before work I went and got ACV at the store thank goodness Byerly's opens at 6AM. I went home told my wife and started ASAP.

I personally after reading several pages and posts decided to take 3 tablespoons 2 times a day. I mix it with Apple Juice and I small spoonful of this thick and gooey honey my wife has. It's only been 4 days and I went to donate again at 6AM, (I like to be first then I'm done by 7:15) and get this my BP went to 149/89. Fluke? Who knows but even the lady I like to have screen me even said how low it is today and my iron was excellent she said, best she's seen. Now it hasn't helped my feet at all but I do feel my appetite has changed for the better as well. So thank all you kind people who helped me and I'm an ACV drinker now!

Can somebody help me? I have read many posts, blogs, articles about the benefits of apple cider vinegar. I have been taking braggs apple cider vinegar diluted in water, but have stopped because each time I ingest apple cider vinegar (any vinegar, actually), my pulse increases (can literally hear my heart in my ear, if I lie on the left side), I have some sort of digestive problem: difficult swallowing/burning sensation near stomach. My diet has not changed at all.

Are there people (or me) who have some sort of negative reaction to vinegar? Should I take with fatty food/food? (I have gone back and forth with food, same results). I seem to also have this problem with certain foods; cabbage (palpitations/swallowing difficulty-lesser degree), broccoli, caffeine (of course), and a few others.

I have only been taking ACV for a short time and my BP has already lowered. I dreaded having my BP taken in the Dr.s Office, because it was so high. Usually ran 150/98 or somewhere in that neighborhood.

I am on HBP meds and have been for years. Since taking two TBS in four OZ. of grape juice it is now 122/78. I found it taste really good in apple juice too. You can barely taste the ACV. I am using organic ACV. Thanks for this wonderful website.

I have been taking one to two tablespoons of organic ACV with one to two teaspoons of good local honey with a couple of ounces of warm water first thing in the morning for over two years. I take it for a number of reasons. I did not have true blood pressure issues prior to starting - usually running about 110/70 sometimes up to 120/70. However, after about six months on the ACV, it is consistently 100/60.

I actually started on the ACV for rheumatoid arthritis pain because I am not interested in prescription drugs. The ACV with honey and water controls the RA pain. You will have to keep taking the ACV to keep your blood pressure down. If you stop, it will begin to creep back up. However, the ACV has so many wonderful effects in the body, I can't see any reason to stop. I would say, however, that everyones should be sure to "swish and swallow" with clean water following the ACV because it can be really hard on the tooth enamel otherwise.

Now he's having a sonogram of my kidneys and referring me to a hypertenison specialist. I've changed my diet and riding my bike for 30-45 mins on some days and walking a mile on other days. What am I doing wrong here??? I'm really getting frustrated. I drink ACV 2-3 times a day without the honey. What else can I do???
