Hi! This is Vicky. I have been taking ACV and VCO for the last 2 months or so but there is no weight loss. I dont know if I should continue this diet or not. I feel I have put some weight on but I dare not weigh myself. It is just so frustrating. I take about 3 tbsp of ACV in a bottle of water ( I sip this throughout the day) and take about 2 tsp of VCO in the am. Is there any truth about our blood type that may affect this diet? By the way my blood type A+. Can someone pls advice??

Hey, ACV did not work on me either. I tried it for about 3 weeks and I gained about 3 lbs! So then I stopped. One thing that does work is drinking warm water with added lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey. Drink it the first thing in the morning after your wake up. It will help you maintain your weight or even loose it. I am not that big, so it does not help me loose my weight, but helps me maintain my weight.

NAY
I'm in the same boat with you, guys! I've been taking ACV for a couple of months and haven't lost a pound. I think that it mainly works for people that have lots of weight to lose. I'm 5'4 and 125 lbs. I've been wanting to get back to my pre-pg weight, which is 115 lbs. I do 1-hour trainign at the gym 2x per week, eat low-carb diet and haven't yet lost a pound, even when I started taking ACV (2T per 1L).

I have a question. I have been using apple cidar vinegar for about a month. I started with 2 -3 tsp per day in water. Then, for weight loss I started taking 1 tbsp 2x daily prior to eating. I have not lost any weight, and am wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I quit smoking 1 1/2 years ago, and gained about 30 pounds. I am tracking what I eat, and not over-eating. I'm 45, female, and always been thin. It's almost like my metabolism is gone, never to return. I also exercise, at least 2-3 hours per week on average. Any thoughts for me??

Hi Chris, I am having the same issues you are! love drinking apple vinegar, but it doesn't help me loose weight. The one time I successfully lost weight is when I did a low fat, low sugar, low carb diet. Basically I only ate easily digestible food like salad, grilled chicken, fish, hummus. I lost about 10 pounds in 2 months. I am trying to get back to that same diet again, but the wheat products kill it for me. One sandwich on whole wheat bread and I have put on an instant 2 pounds. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

I have been taking 2 tbsn ACV with 16 oz water sipping throughout the day. Its been a month and I havent lost even a single pound. I am a strict vegetarian and I know my diet intake does not exceed 1500 calories a day. I am not sure if I am taking the ACV in a wrong manner. When you take the ACV in the mentioned quantity on site ( 2 tbspn with 16oz water) do you have to leave some gap before and after meals?

Hi! I am Vicky. I have been taking ACV for almost 1 month but I have not losat weight and its quite dissapointing. I take about 2tbsp with a glass of water twice a day. I also take about 2tsp of pysllium husk twice a day. Am I doing this diet correctly? I am desperate to lose weight. I am 5'7"and about 75kilos. My tummy is quite big (waist 37"), it looks as though I am pregnant all year round. This is so embarassing and this is really making me so depressed!!! Please I hope someone out there will be able to help!!!

I have been taking ACV since past 2 weeks and have not noticed any difference at all. I take 1.5 tablespoon in 8 ounces of water, 3 times a day. Once as soon as I wake up, once after lunch and once after dinner (before going to bed). Am I doing something wrong? I am not very heavy. I weigh 133 lbs, and want to become 120 lbs. Please someone help me and let me know what else can I do? I first bought the ACV from Shoppers, but then I bought from Trader Joes and am taking that now. PLEASE HELP...I M DESPERATE. THANKS

I've been using apple cider vinegar for about 2 months now, and I have to admit that it does give you glowing skin. I drink one tablespoon of organic unfiltered ACV in a glass of water once a day and use regular filtered as a skin toner on my face twice a day. I'm in my late 20's and have acne, and I saw immediate results in 2 days. My skin glows, even when I have a break out. I use other products for acne, but I have noticed that break outs are reduced.

Additionally, drinking ACV has helped my acid reflux. I do not exactly understand how consuming an acid helps, but it does. I suppose it is possible that my stomach does not have to produce and excessive amount of acid if I am ingesting one.

As a side effect, I did notice that I had the constipation problem other people mentioned. I found it was worse the more ACV I drank, so I just restrict myself to 1 tablespoon per day and give my body a break from ACV at least one day a week.

Weightloss-wise, I've not noticed any results, but I think this is because I am not significantly over-weight and eat a healthy diet in the first place. I'm a 5'8'' 155lbs woman, so even a 5-10lbs loss from drinking ACV would be a bit drastic. I may, over an extended period, lose a bit, but I think that ACV helps more if you have not been taking any weight management measures. I think it might be helpful if more people describe their lifestyle pre-ACV in the weightloss section so that people will have a better idea of what results they can expect.
