However, note that the solution stings a little but subsides moments after. I encourage any one with pterygium to try it. My only regret is that I didn't take pictures of the stage of the pterygium before treatment. I personally want to thank the folks at earth clinic for making this known to us.

My eyes were getting infected every 3 to 4 weeks and were prone to getting bloodshot most of the time. And at night after computer and TV screen use, they would feel very uncomfortable and feel 'gritty' and I had trouble keeping that eye open due to the discomfort. This post put me onto Apple Cider Vinegar and after only a few days, the discomfort was far less. Now after 6 weeks of use, my eyes feel terrific...not bloodshot and no discomfort. However the 1:3 dilution was too aggressive and so I went for 1:5. Still stings and takes a bit of getting used to but I have had no side effects, except positive ones. Truly very happy

I have just been diagnosed with penguecular in both eyes which has been causing ityness and watery eyes for years. I always thought it was allergies so did the doctor so was treatng it as such. I have been using antihistmine which has had no effect (because it wasn't hayfever! ). Now I know what it is I can better help myself. I read here about ACV so have been using the ACV (with mother) recipe for about three weeks three times a day. Stings like crazy and eyes go a little blood shot for a few seconds. I'm presuming this is bringing nutrients to the eye? I haven't noticed any shrinking yet. When they start to feel a little itchy I put more drops in and it seems to give relief. I'm hopeful it might shrink the pings but just take time so I'll persevere. I will update in a few months.

Ive had a small pinguecula in my right eye for a few years now and a slightly larger one in my left eye. They would occasionally become irritated and itchy but for me I mostly hated the look of them! I felt self conscious of my eyes and didn't like that they always seemed yellowish and not clear.
I used the diluted Apple Cider Vinegar as directed on the website. (1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar plus 3 teaspoons distilled or filtered water) 1-2 drops in each eye 2-3 times a day.
It stings!! But only for a few seconds. At first I thought "Oh gosh, what have I done!?"
BUT!!!
It works!!! 3 weeks later one is completely gone, and the other one is nothing but A mere speck! Completely unnoticeable unless I look very closely! My eyes are clear and really white again. I am so happy!!
