Lemon juice and olive oil for kidney stones definitely works- took my husband to the ER they gave him morphine sent him home with prescription for oxycodone - he had to take two at a time to manage the pain- meds were running out and I found this website, thank God.

2oz of lemon juice with 2 oz of olive oil did the trick. Took one dose at night and the other at 10am next morning -went 24hrs without pain. Well, it wore off and he was hurting- gave him the mixture again and a dose of oxycodone- he went thru the night with no pain and still no pain.

So it works but it will wear off so you have to keep taking it.

I have had urology problems for many years, and have had lithotripsy twice for separate stones. On both occasions the surgical method was successful for bladder stones. On both occasions the stone has sat in the bladder and has behaved like a float, and blocked off the urethra stopping urine flow. The first time caused intense pain, "epididymitis orchitis" and and septicemia. The reason this happened in the first place was because I had a urethral stricture in the early 90's.

Urologists sorted this by grafting skin from my leg to create a new and enlarged urethra. Now with this treatment you would think it was "job done" but it was if anything the cause of my "epididymitis orchitis" in 2009. The cause was the skin graft in the 90's had hair follicles which grew internally through the urethra and thus restricting flow, retaining urine and over time creating a 10cm stone which suddenly started to release toxins and produce immense pain. I had a repeat of the same in 2010 which was sorted by lithotripsy and the hair inside the urethra was all burned away by laser treatment.

Now I have a new stone and as before the stone settles at the neck of the urethra or somewhere close by. The position stops the urine flow by acting as a stopper. When laying down the stone rests on the nerves around the edge of the bladder which is damn uncomfortable as I always think I need a wee.

Anyway, I do not relish the thought of yet another hospital stay so have been looking at your pages and "cures" concerning this. I have been using the olive oil/lemon juice option and can report very good results so far with the stone quite obviously breaking down and being expelled as gravel. I am encouraged by the results so far and I will update some more in next few days. I set out to try anything that saves the surgical intervention.

Just a quick note. I found this site while searching for relief from this 5mm painful kidney stone. I have been fighting with this since November 2014. It is now July 16,2015 and I started yesterday at 6:30 pm and twice did the 2 oz each of virgin olive oil and lemon juice. I could hardly get a couple of table spoons of urine out yesterday. After consuming this mixture twice, 6:30 pm and 10:00 pm. I was up every thirty minutes until 1:30 with a good urine stream and NO PAIN!!! I am so amazed. Will post when stone is passed. I am so amazed. I have been on meds from the doctor off and on since November one to open up the tubes and one for pain. This beat all of that hands down.. I am so looking forward to this stone going away...

Hi! I just started this lemon juice & olive oil remedy this past week due to symptoms of a possible kidney stone. All i can say so far is that when i get pain in my lower back and around by abdominal, it goes away after drinking this mix. I am still waiting for stone to pass. I really hate this feeling and it is quite frustrating.

I'm so glad I decided to give this remedy a try! I was up last night with kidney stone pain. I knew that's what it was as I've had them in the past, and one time I even had to have surgery with basket removal to remove a large one. I am currently BFing my daughter, so the thought of Rx pain meds or surgery was not appealing to me. I ran across this site and the olive oil lemon juice remedy and thought I would give it a try. So... At 4AM I drank 1T OO and 2T cold lemon juice and approx 32 oz water. It was awful tasting, but by 530AM I was asleep with no pain. I'm not sure what it's doing to the stone, but I'm just so happy the pain is gone :). I'll try it again with 2T OO/2T LJ tonight. Thanks again for posting this remedy. I'm so happy I decided to try it!

It's 8pm and at 6:45 pm I drank 4 oz. of fresh squeezed lemon juice followed by 4 oz. of extra virgin olive oil, followed by 1 liter of H2O.

My kidney stone pain was at about a 5/10, now it's at a 2/10. This is my second bout with the pesky buggers and a nurse I spoke with on the phone refused to even make me an appointment, rather, she insisted that I come to the emergency room tonight. I can't afford to, so I was planning on coming home and drinking a few beers-which also helped me with my first go round. However, I didn't like the side effects (drunkeness for a light weight like me).

This remedy is AMAZING!! I'm going to have another lemon juice EVOO elixer before bed. Gracias a Dios!

Thank you so much for the info I am 25 years old and had my first round with kidney stones. When the back pains first started I called my mother for advice she told me there was little that could be done save going to the doctor and since I am unemployed I did not want to go unless I was in so much pain I could not stand it. Then after dealing with the pain for a over a week (during which time I got married) I got online and searched for some home remedies. I found this site and tried the Olive Oil and Lemon juice coctail after doing 2 a day for the last three days. I have passed a few and the pain is getting better. Thank you guys so much for the help.

I have been in pain for almost a month. The initial kidney stone problem led me to a the ER and I was given pain meds and a "good luck on passing it". The pain continued and I found this page. It is now a month later and I still have the stone (probably hung up on scar tissue from where I had a stone removed a few years ago by surgery)but I swear the lemon and olive oil helped the pain. Maybe it was in my head, I don't know but it helped the pain. Even though I may still have to have surgery this time, I will, the next time I get one, start lemon juice and olive oil right away. It also didn't taste as bad as the vinegar and water did either.

So far so good... I've been struggling with a stone for the past two days now. Didn't want to admit it at first, too many bad memories of my agonizing trip to the ER 4 years ago. Soon though, the pain in my groin was accompanied by that familiar ache in my lower back...Panic set in. Dug around on the web for an hour or so before I found this site, (kept seeing sites that were CHARGING $$$ to give up their great kidney stone home remedies) and began to get discouraged, thinking I was in for another trip to the ER WITHOUT health insurance.

This afternoon, before I even found this site I picked up a nice filet of Sole for dinner and ended up buying 7 lemons to cook it with! I had read about asparagus as a natural diuretic and also bought some rather dubious looking "kidney health" pills. Anyway, cooked the sole with lemon, white wine, shallots and butter, and ate a whole bunch of asparagus. Didn't help much, but then again I wasn't expecting miracles. Then, found thid site and decided I may as well cut up the remaining 4 lemons and drink it down with some EVOO. NASTY to drink, actually gagged a bit on the EVOO, (didn't really measure, just dumped in a shot glass or so)...laid down and tried to read, felt a little bit of stirring in kidneys groin...about 30 minutes later had a massive pee, and no pain at all!

30 hour after that pee I feel like I have to go again, and sitting here typing, I am having a bit of discomfort in my right marble.(sorry :) And the "I have to pee but nothing will come out" feeling is back. :( Guess I need another dose.
