So over that last 5 years I've been dealing with very bad allergies and non stop sinus infections. I've tried Neti Potting everyday , taking allegra and Claritin with no success. I finally read that a large cause of chronic sinusitus is a fungus related issue. Which may explain my constant swimmers ear, which is also fungal related. I read alot about ACV with the "mother".

I decided to try 2 Tbsp of ACV with 1 Tbsp honey. I have done this every day now for about 2 weeks...

Guess what??? Allergies are way less extreme and sinus infection is gone. I wouldn't have believed it but it worked for me!! Thanks everybody on this site!! Life changing!!

I started drinking ACV while at the tail end of a cold. I had gone through a box of heavy duty decongestant/expectorant and halfway through a second box and I wasn't really improving past a certain point. I was frustrated and searching the web for any alternative solutions when I discovered this site. I ran right out and bought a bottle of [organic] ACV. I started drinking it diluted in water AND I also started to rinse my nose with it. I do not use a nettie pot for my sinus rinsing. Ever since I had sinus surgery 15 years ago, I've used a baby nose aspirator as instructed by the surgeon and squirt the solution up into my nose while leaning over the sink. I use 1 tsp in 8oz of warm water for my nose rinse & 2 tbsp in 16oz water to drink. Sometimes, I'll just take a shot straight but I love the flavor of vinegar. I had heard the nose rinse might cause burning but never experienced that myself. WOW! Within a day I noticed a difference. I stopped taking the decongestant/expectorant pill and have continued to drink & rinse twice a day (morning and night). I am not kidding when I say I very rarely sneeze anymore!! I have such horrible year-round allergies. I've been on an Rx nose spray AND would take an OTC pill also. Since I have been rinsing my nose, I rarely use the spray let alone take the pill. I do notice a difference when I forget to rinse my nose. To me that is just proof it's the rinse w/ ACV that is helping me. I have recommended ACV to everyone!

We have a mug of vinegar tea every morning and it actually tastes delicious -I put 1 Tbs raw ACV in a mug, then half fill it with hot water. I add 1 teaspoon of raw honey and mix it up. Then I top it up with cold water and finally, the part that makes it taste delicious, I add a dash of ground cinnamon! It makes it taste like apple crumble in a mug! And we never have allergy issues because we start every day off with this drink. Highly recommend it to anyone!

My husband has had severe allerigies his entire life. Non-stop rumbling in his ears, his nose would drain if he leaned his head down, dizziness, etc, etc. Every year it became worse and every year he would take otc meds or prescriptions consisting of steroids and antibiotics. The relief from these was very minimal if noticeable at all. On the 3rd day of taking 1.5 tsps of ACV 3 times a day, he began to notice a difference. He's stayed with this for the past 3 months and the effects continue to grow. He has more energy, lost weight (also due to the acv), and is 99% allergy free. I have never seen anything work so wonderfully. Last year we also had issues with staph and within 3 days of applying acv, it would be gone. I am a complete believer in all-natural cures from here on. Thank you so much Earth Clinic for your site!!

I regularly take apple cider vinegar. It doesn't do a thing for my seasonal allergies. I have to take anti-histamines.

I too suffer from really bad seasonal allergies every year. My nose will get congested, and runny. My eyes will get red and runny. My throat will get itchy. The pressure builds up in my head and feels like a pressure cooker! I will sneeze hundreds of times throughout the day. Every year I go to the doctor and I get allergy medicine, I found out that my body builds tolerance to whatever medicine I try...Yesterday my symptoms started full force, a friend of mine told me to visit this site, I read about ACV and happened to have some in my cabinet, desperate as I was, I mixed 1/8 of a cup in 16oz of water and drank it.. To my surprise and much needed relief my symptoms went away in less than an hour!

ACV gets a big YEAS!!

Worked Temporarily

Hi!!! I suffer from very bad allergies and bronchitis and asthma. I have tried every antibiotic and over the counters meds and none worked. Just eased the symptoms for a bit. I tried _____s ACV for the first time last Thursday. I filled a shot glass and downed it. About a hour later I felt great!!! My sinus pressure eased up a lot and they started to drain. My chest wasnt nearly as weezy and I felt full of energy. I did three shots a day and felt wonderful. My allergies never went away but there was a huge improvement. One that I could live with.

After the third day I started getting really bad gas pressure ending in terrible belches and resulting in upset stomach so I diluted the ACV by pouring the shot in a 20 oz bottle of water three times a day. That didnt help so I did it twice a day. Then my sinus problems started coming back. I havent taken any in a couple of days and my allergies are back full force. Please can you offer any suggestions?

Here's a little update at just over a year... Throughout my entire life I have always had a miserable time with colds and allergies every single year. This past year, since I've learned about ACV, has easily been the best year of my life. I'd even go so far as to call it almost perfect. Allergies were a breeze. I don't think I noticed any at all, including my allergies to dogs and many other animals, dust, ragweed and a few other pollens.

4 random times over the past year, I had the very familiar feeling of my very typical post-nasal drip creeping in. I get those often, always starting with a nasty sore throat which ALWAYS meant I was about to be sick for a long time. Almost every time, this meant antibiotics, and maybe more than one kind. For the first year in as long as I can remember, I haven't taken a single antibiotic NOR a single decongestant. I never came close to needing them. I was always in danger of getting left back for attendance, and it has always been my Achilles' heal at work. This is huge for me.

The few times that sore throat DID come around this past year, were during times when I had run out of ACV or hadn't been keeping up with it. Then I would try the new ACV remedy I'd learned about off this site: 1/2 cup water & a single teaspoon of ACV. Gargle it 3 times every hour until the sore throat feels better. Each time I had the sore throat, I would do this remedy early on, and within 3 hours, or 9 mouthfuls, my sore throat was gone! Completely. A little Advil didn't hurt either, just to make those few hours passed comfortably.

That was it. They never became colds. They never lasted more than a few hours. I only took one sick call the entire year, and that was just because I was feeling lazy. My allergies were nothing. I didn't have my usual fall coughing marathons at night, nor my springtime scratchy throat. People I worked with and live with were sick all around me, and while I was always nervous of catching their germs, I never really did. The winter before I'd found out about ACV, I was miserably sick for more than 3 months straight.

Of course, anybody who has grown to swear by ACV knows how difficult it is to convince others to try or to continue with the ACV. The taste is tough to deal with, and it is so frustrating when you know it would help someone you love, but they will not so much as sniff it more than once. But as I've come to learn in life... You can only really fix yourself, and try to be a good example.

Does it work for the Cholesterol that I originally started taking it for? I'm not convinced. I'm due for a retest, but I don't expect anything there. But thanks to the amazing boost its given my immune system- This is way better than any vitamin or supplement I've ever taken!

I usually take 2 tablespoons of _____ ACV in a shot glass topped off with water or apple juice, and then chase it with more water or juice (the colder the better). I usually take it for 2 weeks, and then skip it for 5 days or so. I've read several books on ACV over the past year, and it does a lot of good for your body. I'm sold!

Apple Cider worked to relieve/eliminate my seasonal sinus allergies. At first I had to take ACV in water 3x per day. Then I gradually reduced it to once a day, and now I take it once a day only 3-5 times per week. I am having no sinus symptoms this year. I would call this a cure!

Hello fellow allergy sufferers! I'm one of those rarely writing folks, but I had to say that the ACV worked for my allergies! I've been suffering ever since I got to Louisiana (a matter of 15 years! ) and this years was the worst, with the itchy ears, itchy nose that makes you want to claw your face off, and watering eyes. I was quite desparate up until Monday afternoon when I took my first two tablespoons of _____s ACV in some water. By Monday night, I had about 90% relief, and now (Wed morning), I can say I get the brief nose itch about twice a day, but nothing like before. I feel great and I'm going to spread the news!
