re: ACV and Gout' -- Thanks for all the great comments and ideas. As a nurse for 30 years I know that diet binges precede my attacks-as does minor injury. I certainly don't find relief nor do I prefer NSAIDS. I did find two things of note here: I am going back to ACV with honey and water. I think a comfrey poultice helps and as to calcium...there is some new data that a diet high in low fat dairy products seems to lower uric acid levels. black cherry juice will be my next remedy...and i will report back. and think of it, aren't we blesssed when our bodies give us a warning- painful as it may be.
