Seeking Remedies for Deep Tissue Pyoderma in Dog
Seeking Remedies for Deep Tissue Pyoderma in DogPosted By Sophie (Chesapeake, Virginia) on 06/05/2015
We are on our 3rd week of treating pyoderma. The vet says he thinks that it is deep tissue pyoderma but not sure. But it sure fits the descriptions and pictures we see. We allowed the vet to biopsy, which was supposed to be punch biopsy, and turned out to be extensive biopsy. Now she has 3 large incisions at least 3 to 4 inches and that has to heal. We are waiting for results. They changed the diagnosis from fungal to bacterial so changed the shampoo. Very frustrating and devastating to see our baby like this. They increased her antibiotics from 100mg to 200mg of Cefpodoxime Proxetil. We are searching for a natural remedy? Thank you for your help if possible.EC: Hi Sophie,
Have you seen Earth Clinic's remedy section for Pyoderma here?
