Hello. I have 2 miniature Poodles and they both are shelter dogs. Since I have had them I feed them 100% homemade food and also add LOTS OF COCONUT OIL. You will be surprised at how well coconut oil works both inside and outside in a dog's body. It will take care of the dog odor and the itching. Also bathe your dog with Baby Hypoallergenic shampoo - 100% Soap free and then after drying apply coconut oil on the dog all over.

For feeding, give 4 Tablespoons full of coconut oil each day with food or just like that in the bowl and your dog will lick it! Dogs love coconut oil! Buy a good quality one plz.! You can get from health food store Virgin Coconut Oil - Organic.

The skin issues and the smell will be gone in a day or two! Good luck!

Also if you can feed homecooked meals, it wud be great as the dog food contains too many chemicals etc so that's why your dog is itching! Your dog is trying to tell you that he is miserable and NOT happy - plz. Help and plz. feed him a GOOD HOME COOKED DIET.

Also I forgot to add if she is itching at her neck check the following-

1. Take off her collar. Only put it on her when going outside.

2. Wash her collar monthly. Wash in soap, borax and white vinegar.

3. Check her ears. It could be she has ear infection. Clean the insides with solution made of 40% white vinegar, 40% hydrogen peroxide and 10% water. Keep up with this every week for next months and I promise her ear infection would go away.

Sounds like a yeast problem. There are many cures on here. Also add half a bottle yakult each evening meal.
