Seeking Help for Chronic Osteomyelitis in Cat

Posted By Andrija (Serbia) on 07/11/2018

My cat has chronic osteomyelitis. He is on antibiotics for 2 and a half weeks. Vet said it would probably take 6 weeks of medical treatment. We thought it is bone cancer, but thank God, biopsy showed OM. During biopsy vet made drainage and after that my cat walked on 4 legs. His leg has an almost normal temperature(a few days ago it was hot), but is swelling still. He also doesn't use it. Please tell me if there is some other treatment such as natural medicine that works for chronic osteomyelitis. I am afraid that antibiotics will not work because it seems that infection is going back again. Or should I wait 3 more weeks and see what will happen? I first thought that my baby has osteosarcoma and bought cannabis oil with very high THC. After I found out that it is OM I decided not to use it on him. Is it possible to use THC directly on leg? I read it is worked for people with skin cancer. Please reply if someone had a similar experience. Sorry on bad english.

I'd recommend bovine colostrum. It does some amazing things!

I would definitely try CBD oil. Not sure about the THC product, as I understand it is not good for pets in most cases. If you put it on his leg he would likely ingest it. I can recommend a facebook group for CBD oil and pets.
