Remedies for Tingling and Numbness of Hands

Posted By Kt (Usa) on 01/08/2016

Once in awhile, even when I am not sleeping on my hands wrong, they will tingle yet feel numb. Similar to the feeling you get if you cut off circulation to a limb when folded under you.

I thought I had read some "recent posts" about this awhile ago but didn't see anything listed in the index...only "tingling feet". Nothing under "numbness" either. I'm sure I had seen it somewhere...can anyone please help?

EC: Hi KT,

Check out the neuropathy page...the most recent post was Vitamin B1..

Vitamin B-1 (Benfotiamine)

[YEA]  Finally! My feet are returning back to normal. Getting off the B vitamins helped within a months time. Started taking Benfotiamine, a lipid-soluble form of thiamine (vitamin B-1). I have been taking if for about 3 weeks, 600 Mils, a day. I now have feeling in my feet again!

Been to the ER with this one. They were no help.

I have had my feet, legs, hands and usually the left arm the hurting numbness or the buzz. Once I woke up and both legs were numbs. that was the time I went to the ER. What helped me with the numbness was ALA. I have cut down a bit, but I usually take at least 400mg. I have been skipping because I have not gone numb in a while, however I know it's not a cure, because if I stay off the ALA it to long the numbness returns. I have been taking the 400mg or so for at least a year.
