Elderly Mother Gets Diarrhea Instantly After Eating Fats, Please Help

Posted By Kelly (San Diego) on 07/14/2018

My 80 year old mother gets almost instant diarrhea after eating foods with fats whether they're healthy or not. It's beginning to cause intestinal incontinence as well. Eating out for her has become a nightmare. She is on meds for hyperthyroidism as well.

Suggestions? Thank you.

Kelly,

There are many remedies and problems with the runs.

Having lost my lower intestine to surgery, I thought I was doomed to stay home. 5 years of it. I tried Ted's many helps, but would only get so far.

Then I found 1 sentence that changed it. DHEA, the mother of all hormones. It drives elimination in many ways.

I cannot find the paragraph, but it is cheap and safe. You give her a dose for 3 days. It worked in 1, I took it three to ensure it was gone. The other is melatonin. Hormones correct and reside in the intestine. When my Mom faced a problem like mine, I told her, she said she was long done with that hormone stuff. Not true. We need them and they drive wellness everywhere all of our lives.

50 mg of DHEA and 2.5 mg melatonin at bedtime. This may solve it.

It could be MRSA, Cdiff, other issues but I would start for 3 days. She should see results right away. If it is not the perfect answer it will give her an overall boost to get well with other additions.

Below I am posting a general remedy for intestinal health that we use, alkalinity and healing she may wish to incorporate.

Some suggestions for your mother from gallbladder removal pages, the first thing I thought to supplement would be bile tablets, then adding powdered or granulated lecithin, to bind to and remove the toxic oils on the liver. Some further reading for you, from general to specific advice
