Answer about mycoplasma and ureaplasmaPosted By Holisticmom624 (New York, Ny) on 04/18/2014
I became very sick on the medication and did not have any significant symptoms of Lupus until I was put on medication. I currently have purchased MSM, and NAC as well as Hydrochloric acid and take all natural vitamins and minerals. So the underlining question: is this something I can treat naturally as other Mycoplasma as I do not feel comfortable taking antibiotics and am allergic to various funguses - and if so what can I take. Any information about this will be much appreciated

Stephen Harrod Buhner has a book called, 'Healing Lyme Disease coinfections: Complementary and Holistic Treatments for Bartonella and Mycoplasma." He has a couple of chapters in the book on treating Mycoplasma herbally. He has a list of herbs for the mycoplasma and also some extras for specific target areas (like the urinary system.) Buhner is an expert on Lyme disease and its co-infections. His books are sort of technical but very, very thorough.
I hope his book will be helpful to you. You may be able to get it at the library.

If the borax remedy doesn't appeal to you, you could perhaps use a special compound herbal mix from raintreeformulas.com called Myco, which has been specifically designed to combat and eradicate all forms of bacteria as well as mycoplasma. This site also has other herbal formulations that target spirochete bacteria(called Spiro) and others that target fungal and viral problems as well. I know and have used this site in the past to get bulk herbs. This site only ever uses organic, sustainable herbs from the Amazon jungle region.
There are also other specific compound herbal mixes that you might also want to investigate. See the Nutramedix, Nutricology and Herb Pharm websites for more natural anti-microbial formulas that might help you. Another one is 1stchineseherbs.com. I don't know these sites so well (they don't ship to the Philippines where I live) but they seem to have have a good range of wildcrafted herbs, extracts etc. for sure.
See Ted from Bangkok's advice for Lupus here on EC.
Just to also finally mention that if you think that you have SLE then have a look at the current research on Dr William Shaw's website. His research has confirmed that problems such as Lupus, as well as many other autoimmune and mental problems, always seem to involve candida, various bacteria and possibly parasites and viruses as well. So don't think that you have just one infection -- mycoplasma -- you should perhaps be thinking multi-pathogen infections because of such a hugely lowered immune system capability. If you think that you have SLE then I would advise that you should perhaps use the following strategy:
* Broad spectrum or suitable individual herbal protocols that will specifically kill a wide range of bacteria, mycoplasma, fungus, viruses, parasites etc.
* Protocols that will remove biofilms. (eg Serrapeptase, Bromelain, Gum Turpentine).
* Alkalizing the body every day. See this link.
* Protocols that detox heavy metals and poisons.(eg Chlorella, Kelp, EDTA)
* Protocols that help build up the immune system.(eg Lugols Iodine)
* Liver/Kidney protection protocols.(eg Alpha Lipoic Acid, Selenium, Milk Thistle)
* Vegetarian Diet.
* Avoid antibiotics like the plague.
I use a strategy similar to the above against candida(also a multi-pathogen disease). See this link for more detailed explanations.

Re: Mycoplasma
I notice Ted from Bangkok also recommends large dose (5, 000 mg daily?) niacinamide. That post was from 2006 and focused on the calcium oxalate protection that mycoplasma effectuates. Ted's post I referred to is found in the permanent Mycoplasma "Ailments" Section in EC. YOUR post (the one I'm replying to) is eleven posts below his.
My question then is two fold: Do you think niacinamide can play a role in eliminating mycoplasma or does your manifold recommendation cover the bases? And question two; what is the role of calcium oxalate in the tangled problem? Ted focuses on that issue too talking about the use of disodium EDTA to keep oxalic acid from doing this and even talks of bicarbonates from entering the blood stream.

niacin -->.....--> niacinamide--> NADP(Nicotinamide Adenosine Diphosphate)
NADP then becomes part of the electron transport chain that supplies energy(ATP) throughout the cell itself. And that's as far as I'm going to go with it -- I prefer to keep it simple. But if you wish to be further confused -- then have a look at this complex explanation which will be like double Dutch to most people -- See this link.
Apart from the uniqueness of niacin's effect on blood, both niacin and niacinamide appear to have the same multitudinous benefits. It was also recently discovered from research (at the University of Minnesota within the last two years I think) that higher dose niaicinamide increases the strength and performance of the immune system by a factor of 2000. That, in itself, is reason enough to use higher dose niacin or niacinamide. It also cures depression, helps to cure heart disease, helps to cure alcoholics, cures schizophrenia, improves mood and raises energy levels. I've also read where Ted has also written that niacin/niacinamide kills both candida and mycoplasma too. Yet more reasons to use B3 at higher dose to keep yourself healthy. Dr Abram Hoffer took high dose niacin (up to 3 grams a day) for over 50 years and he died at age 93 after a long and productive life. Hoffer always said that supplementing higher dose niacin would extend your life and he's the proof.
So in answer to your questions:
Do you think niacinamide can play a role in eliminating mycoplasma or does your manifold recommendation cover the bases?
Absolutely -- because niacin/niacinamide, when they are taken in larger doses as Ted recommends, can raise up the strength of the immune system by a factor of 2000.
What is the role of calcium oxalate in the tangled problem?
Oxalate is hard to remove. But if you take EDTA then this will remove the heavy metals and excess calcium which helps to get rid of the calcium oxalate itself. Perhaps not the best answer in the world, but its sometimes difficult to follow Ted's thinking. And since Ted has said that niacin will kill mycoplasma -- I would believe him and simply leave it at that. I tried looking for evidence of such cures for mycoplasma several years ago, none to be found or all the important research has been deliberately hidden. Probably because the US Bio-Warfare Department has already had weaponized mycoplasma of its own for many years, so the last thing they really want is a cure for mycoplasma. There is much evidence for this. Lupus, Lyme and Morgellon's Disease always involve mycoplasma. SLE is difficult to diagnose, Lyme is not universally recognized as a disease and neither is Morgellon's recognized as a disease. All these diseases involve mycoplasma.
Out of interest, here's something from Ted (written way back in 2005) on another website talking about the cause of Morgellon's Disease and how it originated....And how he actually cured himself of this disease:
The solution came from secret military research which they have the cure. Apparently the cure is really simple, they used a 2%-3% DMSO mixed with 5% sodium perborate solution. They had to have the solution to protect biochemists like me from the infections.
It worked like magic on me when I got one. They kept it under the wraps because they need the "Morgellons" to spread the mycoplasma. Since you don't believe in conspiracy theory and I don't have a perfect memory, I will not go into details. There was another chemical they also used which I don't recall it now, but I guess it is not that important. However the simple insect not yet "officially" identified as I understand it they were trying to get it patented.
However it is great in carrying pathogens across a wide area of at least several thousand miles using birds as a carrier. This includes the bird flu, mycoplasma, chlamydia, SARS, etc.
Hmmm. The other "missing" ingredient? They MIGHT had an egg chitin dissolving solvent, EDTA and weak acetic acid, but I am not sure. Possibly a hormone disruptant
to cause sterilization that I suggested to my boss (he works for biowarfare research directly), but I don't know if he added my formulas or not. It was Neem oil if you want to know. Remember, the reason why I knew some of the formula was I was suggesting some improvements on those stuff to get rid of the critters faster. Since I got one myself 20+ years ago. It took about 3 days to rid of it and another week to prove that I don't infect my fellow co-workers.
If you know anyone in the military research, I am sure they improved my ancient formulas (which is fragmented) since my boss refused to tell me all the ingredients. We work in compartmentalization. So don't put your hopes up high on it. They might have
"evolved" or made a better breed those little creatures already, I am not sure. In the world of research, 20 year old research is TRULY ancient.

So if your doctors and drugs companies say that SLE, Lyme Disease and Morgellon's Disease do not exist then, by heck, it must be true!! (sic)
Because they are the experts we can trust....Right? (sic)
