Given a plant grown under North Magnetic field and South magnetic field, magnetic north grows twice faster than magnetic south and twice faster grown with no magnetic field. In general North are active and stimulating and South are relaxing and healing. If we lie reading I found head pointing North, but if we need healing and relaxing it pointing South. North is for growing and growth, and South is for healing and relaxing. Should you have a good night sleep I found generally pointing South help sleep, but if I point my head towards North I have trouble relaxing. Of course that is general rule, but there might be differences in each people, depending on whether they get proper sleep or not. If improper sleep chances are they are not pointing South, but there is getting yourself grounded with the bed too.

The head of the body is the north end, and the toes are considered the south pole of the body, right

So this means you recommend aligning the north part of body (head) with south, and south part (toes) with north, correct Thanks again!

As far as underlay North or South, I haven't experimented with that. But north is stimulating and south in general is relaxing and healing. It might apply for underlay too, I don't know. What I do know is energy flows parallel to magnetic fields. It might not be the same for everybody as to North or South, but I tested for 30 years, that pointing South generally works the best for relaxing and sleeping. My guess is pointing south with underlay north magnets. You have to experiment with that one and see how it goes. As to underlay with mixed north and south, that's the worst.
