Apple cider vinegar and baking soda is considered a food and used in cooking, and hence the remedy can be used together with anything. However, if the GERD is quite bad, a stronger remedy such as 2 tablespoon of ACV plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 (or 1 glass) of water is needed, taken twice a day.

It should be noted that one tablespoon of granulated lecithin helps some reduction with the blood sugar by reducing the free fatty acids. All heavy meals and fried food should be avoided, especially french fries, potato chips and meats.
