PLEASE CLARIFY TED'S HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE FORMULAQuestion by Peter (Chicago, Il) on 11/23/2010
(Ted latest formula is)
6 grams of potassium carbonate. This is a stabilizer
3 grams of sodium nitrite
Add water to 30 cc, and put in a 30 cc dropper bottle. I saw this on google research. Sodium nitrate (NaNO3) and its close relative sodium nitrite (NaNO2) are preservatives that you find in lots of processed meats. Thanks

The chemical names shown appears to be correct. But your email referring to sodium nitrate is incorrect, it is sodium nitrite. The preparation for the formula I used is 6 grams of potassium carbonate, plus 3 grams of sodium nitrite. Then I mixed in a 30 cc dropper bottle. The average drops to get a blood pressure from 190/110 for example, for a person who weighs 90 kg for example, would be approximately at least 25 drops in 1/4 glass of water. For most people the blood pressure for a high one is often 170/100 for example, the drops appears to be 20 drops to get to normal blood pressure. It takes about 20 to 25 minutes for the blood pressure to drop down and then we determine whether more should be taken. For some other people whose blood pressure is around 150/90 the drops may require about 15 drops on the average to reach the desired target blood pressure of 130/80. The sodium nitrites breaks down into nitric oxide which directly controls the blood pressure, where arginine's ability to lower blood pressure is not that quick. On the average the effect of lowering this blood pressure should last about 4 hours. Hence it is taken roughly every four hours.
Certain observances in lowering blood pressure is the need to eat less fatty foods, especially fried foods and vegetable oils are the worse. Ideally take regularly granulated lecithin, which prevents fatty liver, which is common for people with high blood pressure. Sometimes blood pressure are diabetic ones. We can actually predict a pre-diabetes before it is too late (then blood pressure goes up). The secret is to measure the blood sugar exactly 1 hour after eating. The number should register normal blood sugar. For my purposes, 90 to 100 mg/dL is considered normal. I used a different standards. No 12 hour fasting is required as those predict if you have a somewhat irreversible diabetes and the body is already badly damaged. Granulated lecithin is taken 1 tablespoon a day a least. Keeping the body alkaline, helps reduce the blood pressure, although it requires about 1 week of taking them. In particular potassium is helpful. The simplest formula is 1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate plus 1/4 teaspoon potassium carbonate taken after meals, in a cup of water, 30 minutes after meal, twice a day. This will generally stabilized blood pressure.
If a predisposition of diabetes, exceeding 100 mg/dL, no fasting, after 1 hour meal, then if there is an uncontrollable high blood pressure, it really helps to take 1000 mg of aspirin dissolved in a cup of water, should blood pressure becomes uncontrollable, taken together with perhaps, chromium polynicotinate. Avoid late meals after 5 pm, if a person has predisposition for diabetes or has generally a high blood pressure. IT reduces liver congestion by not eating late, which is one of the causes. Avoid processed foods, especially the common table salt. Salt and sugar taken together raises blood pressure far more then either one, but sugar and common table salt is what I will avoid the most.
The formula I used here has no side effects, but in high blood pressure situation, headaches may occur due to their pressures on the brain. Two major supplement I used to stop headaches in less then 5 minutes are 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of potassium citrate (depending on size and degree of headaches), and 1/2 teaspoon of taurine. Nearly 90% of all headaches is due to electrolyte imbalance, and hence why either both or individucally the potassium citrate (technical name tripotassium citrate) and taurine works. Taurine works by maintaining balance between sodium and potassium. In other words, keeping the potassium inside, and keeping the sodium outside the cells where they belong. It is often the case that in emergency situations that nearly all patients have low sodium and high potassium due to cellular damage and this is why emergency rooms have saline solution. The cells loose their sodium quickly and releases too much potassium in general, but what is overlooked in prevention from most major sickness to keep electrolytes in balance is the taurine and this two things may be required in people with high blood pressure.
Of course that's just based on my own personal observations and experience. There is one thing, I haven't have the time to explore. Chlorine and all halogens tend to raise blood pressure. Most people tend to die during the shower or after the bath as the body absorbs about 80% of the chlorine from water. To neutralize this chlorine, we can dechlorinate by taking one rice grain of sodium thiosulfate dissolved in a cup of water before taking a bath. This will prevent blood pressure spikes that occur during chlorine exposure in shower, bath and public swimming pools. Chlorine lowers the body's ORP to a more positive figure and tends to raise the body's blood pressure in response to that. The sodium thiosulfate will neutralize the chlorine into a harmless salt.

This is why I need plenty of food grade potassium in other uses too.

Sodium nitrite is purportedly carcinogenic at about 10 mg per pound or 150 mg per 150 lb adult. The dosage is 200 mg per day.
Is it wise to use the preparation considering the cancer risk or am I way off here
