Gayle: In certain cases apple cider vinegar will give you heartburn, because the pH of it is around 3.5. Therefore try adding 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda to 2 tablespoon of vinegar and dilute it with 1/2 glass of water. Then take it after the reaction is stabilized. The pH is about 7 after a couple of minutes and this should not cause you heart burn.
If apple cider vinegar is indeed a problem for you take 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda twice a day for about a week. The condition of reflux should be gone.
Apple cider only works best when baking soda is added as it is an antioxidant with a negative ORP of at least - 150 mV
