Improving Stomach FunctionQuestion by P (Los Angeles, CA) on 12/10/2011
I am a 44 year old male of Asian born. I reside in Los Angeles - California - USA. I am in good health, overall! Only medication I am taking is a light dosage of Lopressor (10mg) for minor case of high blood pressure. I do frequently take "over-the-counter" headache pill. However, when I do take them, I do feel "acidy" a bit or sour in my stomach due to caffeine in it. I am very careful about what I intake or drink. No cigarettes, no alcohol, no sodas, no milk or any juices, no heavy foods, and I am very slim or skinny. Actually, I lost a lot of weight due to my symptoms. I only drink tea (Dried Red Date Tea, Korean Goji Berry Tea, and warm water). I recently had an EKG done on my heart and showed that I was in solid shape - "all was good". However, my blood test indicated 'postive' for H Pylori. Also, they said I have GERD/Acid Reflux. My self-test indicated "a below normal production of acids in my stomach".
SYMPTOMS I AM SUFFERING FROM:
Does my symptoms sound like GERD and H Pylori to you Can it be finally cured or can I be cured from my symptoms If so, what natural way or natural supplements can I take Can you specify in detail I think I am very sensitive to drugs (that's why I was having so much side effects from the western medicines).
Lastly, what do you think about taking Mastic Gum
How about Matula Herbal Tea This is the new one. A lot of the online blogs indicate that this is fake and super expensive. Have you heard of this
Lastly, how about Monolaurin (Lauric Acid --- 1200mg, 2 times per day)
Can you help me and guide me You will be saving my life! My life is in complete shambles due to the horrible on-going symptoms and no remedy! Thank you.

As for the fungus, it will be killed with a stronger stomach acid, unless there are ulcers from the h. pylori that is created, to prevent that, it needs lysine and glutamine to speed up healing, aloe oil 10 drops and vitamin E 200 iu will further accelerate the healing and can be taken aloe vera 3 times a day and vitamin E 200 iu once a day. The lysine is taken at 1000 mg x 4 times a day, and if the acid reflux is severe enough you can quickly control with humic acid, only a little will do such as 1/32 to 1/16 teaspoon very little. This is the cure, although I cannot know specifically the details that depends on individual, but this is the main remedy. As for mastic gum it merely protects the lining, a couple of things will help the stomach, such as melatonin as it is shown to help healing. It is actually produced by the intestines also not just the pineal glands and taken during the night. If you want a specific vitamin to help kill fungus, then it is always the B3 niacinamide, and can be taken at 500 mg to 1000 mg in evening and 250 mg x 3 during the day. If this is done the body will get slowly out of the woods.
The other ones such as coconut oil, and other things you mentioned merely lessen the condition, including digestive enzymes to digest the food, so for your case it might be need for a few weeks while the body is able to produce the enzymes itself from the vitamin B complex, lysine is also needed for the stomach to produce digestive enzymes too, but also the histidine, maybe just 500 mg to 1000 mg a day. I never have acid reflux as I found before they happen i take B50 and magnesium, so that actually prevents a full blown acid reflux, due to a condition called achlorydia that can be relieved somewhat with vinegar or apple cider vinegar during meals, but I prefer hydrochloric acid concentrated 4 drops one glass of water drank during meals, but because of limited availability you can try potassium chloride, vinegar, apple cider vinegar, citric acid, lemon juice, and others during meals, and if not enough, then digestive enzymes as temporary measures as you take B complex reviving your liver. Also iodine deficiency is one of the causes of achlorydia, but is taken at night to help as Lugol's solution, maybe just start at one drop if the other methods don't work.
