Myra: Iced tea is high in tannins and is commonly an antioxidant. My guess is to try taking either ascorbic acid vitamin C or sodium ascorbate, in the amount of 1000 mg./day twice a day. Since I have no way of knowing his urinary pH, my best guess is to try the vitamin c ascorbic acid first, which might resolve the weird bitter taste in his mouth. However, to be on the safe side, it is best taken with half and half, which means ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate taken ltogether. I haven't seen any vitamin C formulations done that way, but I do know that you can buy them separately and taken together. The vitamin C should put his body to antioxidation level, but I have no way of knowing either his urinary sugar, ORP, or pH. However, if this suggestion is right most or all of his headache should be gone the next day.
