I agree with Renee. I foolishly used EVCO for sun protection yesterday, a very sunny day, and I have a very bad sunburn as a result.

Warning

coconut oil is not a sun-screen. In fact, coconut oil promotes sun burn. Never expose urself to the sun with coconut oil on ur skin.

Warning

I tried the coconut oil as sunscreen, and got very burned! I was out at the peak of the sun for four hours, but in any case, coconut oil does have amazing benefits, but this is not one of them. At least not during peak hours.
