I need to lose about 20 pounds. I tried the apple cider vinegar remedy as suggested here in EC (organic, with the mother). I felt great and even had quite a bit more energy. My stomach seemed flatter. And I felt more motivated to get things done that I had been procrastinating doing. The only problem is that it almost stopped up my bowel movements. I had only been taking it for 4-5 days, 2-3 times per day, approx 2 tablespoons each time. Sometimes I would add a little honey. Other times I added a half teaspoon of baking soda. I became so constipated when I'm normally quite regular. I stopped taking it and now almost 3 weeks later I'm still not back to normal. I need to take herbal laxatives and magnesium to have a bowel movement. Anyone have any idea why this might be and what could be done to prevent and fix it?

I have hypothyroidism and for years I fought to lose weight. I tried every diet out there, exercised everyday for 2-3 hours a day. I would lose 5-20 lbs and gain it all back, plus some. I finally saw a dietitian and found out I was doing it all wrong. She explained that people with thyroid issues, can't digest food fast enough, if large volumes of food are eaten. So I was put on a six mini meal a day plan. I was also told no more than thirty minutes of cardio. I did this and very slowly the weight was coming off. I wanted quicker results and saw an article about ACV, baking soda, and lemon. I have hypertension and opted out on baking soda.

I started drinking 2 TBSP of ACV in 4 ounces of water, three times a day. Immediately the pounds started melting away faster with the program I was on. I went from 259 lbs down to 197 lbs in six months. Even my blood pressure dropped to normal, my cholesterol levels were normal, and the inflammation in my joints were gone. If not for weight loss....do it for your health. It's worth it!!

I have been taking apple cider vinegar for the past month to lose weight. It's working and I feel awesome. I take a teaspoon of ac vinegar in hot water with lemon when I wake up, then a tablespoon of it in my sports water bottle, which I sip all day. I have lost 4 pounds so far.

I've only tried ACV & water twice & both times I've had a headache. I do 1 tsp of ACV in 6 oz water at night before bed. I thought it was stress until I saw your post.

I have been trying to take this apple cider vinegar to lose weight mixed with water and cayenne pepper and lemon juice... But when I do I get a headache.....does it have anything to do with my medicine that I take....bp med latansan, nexium and crestor alliegen med?

I am a believer! I thank God for you. I stumbled upon your website because I was looking for a natural way to lose weight. I was at my wits end. I started reading all of the ACV reviews and they gave me so much encouragement. I had some organic ACV in my kitchen so I started the regimine two weeks ago. I started at 215 lbs and this morning I weigh 209.8! So far I'm down 6 pounds!! During this time my husband and I went out for a special dinner and I had wine, bread, a steak dinner, mac and cheese, and cheesecake for dessert! I have not dieted or worked out once. I take 2 tbls with 6-8 ounces of water 3 times a day and the weight is slowly but surely coming off. Before I would have been so discouraged because I wanted the weight to come off quickly. I have now realized that, like the turtle, slow and steady is the way to go. Along with the weight loss I have also noticed other benefits as well. My skin is glowing, the whites of my eyes are "whiter", I am post-menopausal and would wake up several times throughout the night but since I started taking ACV I sleep without waking up (unless I have to make a bathroom run), and my energy is through the roof! I am so very happy for the weight loss and the other benefits from ACV. This is some amazing stuff! I will continue to take it for life!

I just found this site the other day and have been reading some of the letters and all of the wonderful benefits these formulas are doing for everyone. I love this site and I'm going to keep coming back and reading more letters and how people are being help with all these formulas.

I have been drinking A/C/V and water for a very long time but, had to stop because I was losing to much weight. I starting back about a month ago and lost a lot of weight again I weight 110 when I started and now I weight 103. I'm going to stop dirning a 16oz glass once a day. Now I'm going to drink an 8oz glass every other day. I'm only 5'1 1/2" tall so, I don't need to lose anymore weight.

I was reading where you guys use baking soda in your A/C/V I tried that yesterday in an 8oz glass and I really did like it. It takes away some of that vinegar taste.

Good luck to everyone, I love you guys for all of the great formulas that you have put on this website.

Food combining for improved digestion and slow weight loss...

I have had problems with overeating all my life. Since my latest juice fasting, I was determined to find a way to stay slim and not overeat any more. I want to share it: As a general guideline I don't eat any processed foods. I use organic, fresh produce, few nuts, no oils or butters, little carbohydrates, ACV, blackstrap molasses, ground flaxseeds, very little fish and chicken for my cravings, food combining (either protein and vegetables or carbohydrates and vegetables or fruits), our own eggs. I also drink daily Grapefruit-Orange juice.

I use the ACV mostly with the food I eat instead of drinking it. So I started pickling with ACV, make salads with ACV. I eat many small portions (for ex. 3 soft boiled eggs with a bit of horseradish or some olives) during the day. I am never starved, I feel I eat a lot without ever feeling stuffed. I don't need to loose weight but do so very slowly and steadily. My digestion has improved, flatulence and gas are hardly any problem and I feel good. The less I eat, the more I eat quality. I can easily buy everything organic (farmer's market helps, too) as my portions are small now and I am saving big by not buying chips, cakes, chocolates, sweets and all other junk.

I have also had no success using ACV for weight loss. I have tried it off and on for periods of about a month, have tried it with meals, before, in between but unfortunately i've had absolutely no change. (ToT)

Warning

Please don't brush your teeth right after having vinegar. It grinds the vinegar into your tooth enamel and causes it to wear down. Do rinse your mouth with water. Once vinegar in neutralized it should be safe to brush your teeth.

I have been struggling with my weight for a long time. I became hypothyroid after the birth of my second son. My weight skyrocketed up to 260 on my 5ft 10 inch frame. I was getting joint pain, back pain, no energy, irritable bowels, depression..so I began eating more whole grains,vegetables, took multivitamins, ate natural yogurt each day, exercised every day..nothing worked. then I read this book written by a doctor from vermont in like 1958 about apple cider vinegar. Sounded weird but I have tried weirder stuff so I began drinking a teaspoon of it in a glass of water with a teaspoon of honey. That was one month ago. My weight is 239. thats 20 pounds in a month. oh, I am 38 years old.

I use the ACV 500 mg pills...2 pills, two to three times a day, begore meals. My Chlestrol was 257...I weighed 176 pounds...started taking them Sept. 1, 2006. December 2006, my chlestrol dropped to 120..my weight dropped to 162..today my weight is 149 and I haven't had my chlestrol checked yet. I feel great!!

I have been drinking apple cider vinegar for about six years. What I noticed right away was I don't have any of joint stiffness and pain. When I stop using it for more than 4 days, the pain returns to my back and neck. I also noticed that my weight is always perfect for my height 5'6", 127 pounds, 54 years old. The vinegar removes the excess salt from your body when you sleep, so no bags under the eyes when you wake up in the morning. wow! lost all the baby fat. thinner now than before i was pregnant. it really works. i take 2tsp-at least 3* daily. straight-no water. i am lean. not to mention detoxing more a la potty time. i get a comment on the weight loss on a daily basis from those who haven't seen me in a while. stick to it..at least 3* daily..before or after meals-especially before bed.

I learned about the Apple Cider Vinegar for weight loss from a parent of one of the girls I coached in soccer. I used it twice a day, in the morning (2 table spoons in apple cider) and 2 tablespoons again before I go to sleep. I ate sensibly and exercised two days a week. I lost about 60 pounds in 4 months. Recently I went back to it when I felt my weight was getting back up to an unacceptable level. Using the same plan I have lost 25 pounds in 3 weeks. I find that using about 4 ounces of apple cider does a good job of making the taste of the ACV. It's working for me, you may want to try it

i had acid reflux problem doctor prescribed me 60 pills of pravacid i tought i am only 33 and how long do i have to take these killer pills cuz i was allready on prevacid for last couple of months and it didnt help it felt ok when i took them but problem came back again then i came across this website and thank to apple cider vinegar i too it 2 spoons after eating and 3 spoons in half cup of warm water for a week upon rising and i cant belive i lost weight and i have increased motablism , o and specially wanna mention about that green stuff called mucus it starts leaving ur body and so many other things u will never expect in ur stool (IF)? u can over come taste of apple cider vinegar .i mixed 1 tbl spoon of honey with it . use only pure from health food stores . trust me ppl this is no bullshit thats what i thought before i used it

I started weight watchers jan 4th of 2007 and in with it I have been taking acv. I have lost 36 lbs as of may 16th. I feek great. I take 2t. Of acv 3 times a day with water after every meal. When i do this i drink it with a straw so that i do not have my teeth exposed to it. My question is, are my teeth still in danger to the acv? what should i do? thanks

This is update #1. I've been taking ______ ACV religiously 3 times daily (1/8 - 1/4 cup). Since I've started taking the vinegar, I've noticed a lot of other benefits besides helping to heal my sinus problem. My energy level has greatly increased. This has allowed me to start exercising more. I started walking about an hour a day (at least 3 days a week) for a few weeks, and now I'm even jogging on occasion. So far in the past 2 weeks, I've lost a few pounds, which of course is related to the exercise, but I still maintain it wouldn't be possible without the ACV and the energy I've gotten from not being sick all the time. God bless this site and for the information you provide. I'll give another update in a month or so. As I like to say as a toast when I take the ACV... Here's to your health

26 Days ago I decided to try and get my weight down for my vacation, now in 11 days. At first, I told myself 37 days, I can just go running everyday, do my stairmaster and eat well, I should be able to be back to my normal weight of 115 or less, in the 37 days. At the time I was about 126, and I originally gained up to the 137 mark! SO I really wanted to lose that last 10-11 pounds before my vacay. I was on a roll with my exercises, then I got sick, and stopped and 1 day turned to 2 turned to 3. So then I went online looking for motivation, tips, etc. I found the Apple Cider Vinegar diet on Earthclinic. I was amazed and so motivated by the feedback I read, so I figured, what could it hurt? Well I have been on it for about 2 weeks, I weighed in this morning at 116. I have NO idea how this is happening, I eat what I like on the weekends, and a light lunch during the week and what I want for dinner. I changed none of my eatting habits from when I had the weight, and yet, I am weighing in at 116. I am so happy, I have told my co-workers, Gramma, friends, about this diet, I feel it really works. I was so discouraged before, I haven't felt good about my body in over a year. Thank you for your website!

I used vinegar several years ago when I lived in Florida, it worked great. My friend told me about it, and we usually mix the vinegar with V8 and drink it 2 or 3 times a day. Well recently since i weighed myself and found myself at 217 pounds I about died, already after one week im down to 204 pounds. It works for me!

I have tried the Apple Cider Vinegar both in liquid and pill Form.
Breakfast- Pill with water with breakfast
Snack- Regular Snack
Lunch- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before lunch
dinner- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before dinner
before bed- 1 pill with water

I feel so good and so much better and hope to see a weight loss since I see so many people have succeded, this could actually be the miracle diet!

Hey! I've been taking ACV for about 10 days with meals...twice a day. The best way I found to take it without tasting the actual vinegar is to put it in a glass of water with an AIRBORNE tablet. Airborne is great for keeping colds away and giving you energy...so I suggest taking it this way because you won't actually taste the vinegar and it actually tastes really good. I take the "lemon-lime" AIRBORNE (invented by a school teacher--fizzy drink) tablet...with a glass of water...and i use the measuring cup for cough syrup to measure the vinegar... my recipe: 1 Lemon-line Airborne tablet 1 glass of water at room temp 2 table spoons ACV

Drink it before meals twice a day...

I always brush my teeth right after too, the acidity is so high in the vinegar that my teeth started to get sensitive because the vinegar wears on the enamel. Anyway, I started out as being 108lbs...I just wanted to lose about 5 or 6lbs before going on vacay (to a beach city). That might seem like a lot of weight to lose but I am only about 5ft tall and very petite. Anyway, this stuff really works if you stick to it. I didn't lose weight gradually. I dropped about 4lbs in 5 days on the 5th day. For the skeptics out there, TRY IT! It also works great for sore throats...It helped me!

I cried when i walked passed my husband and he said i look thinner, everyone now keep telling me how smaller I'm getting, this really works!! I just wanted to say that the acv diet really works. When I first started the program I was 196lbs and I've been on it for 9 days and I now weight 187lbs!! I am so happy I stopped the diet, but I am now back on it. I am also doing the colon cleanse as well. The only thing that I am unsure about is how much am I to drink per day?

Hi, I have been drinking the apple cider vinegar concoction 3-4 times a day (about 2 tbsp ACV, 1 tbsp honey, 1/2 cup water, and occasionally molasses and cinnamon if its handy), and not consciously trying to diet (or exercise) in any other way- sort of out of laziness and sort of in an attempt to see if this stuff works- well, its been three weeks and I just got on the scale for the first time because I knew I'd lost a lot and wasn't scared of the dreaded scale like I usually am- I AM 124 POUNDS!!!! I'm 5ft 3in so this isn't quite my ideal yet, but I was almost 140 when I started this. I think the way it works is by just really killing your appetite while giving you some nourishment so your metabolism doesn't go into free fall. I've still been eating - I just am not that interested in it anymore. Not that into coffee anymore either, and my smoking is DOWN- I'll be honest, one of the reasons I didn't want to give up smoking was I was worried I would gain more weight. Ok, so I am losing AND smoking less- guess that reasoning is now blown out of the water. It just seems to kill your appetite for stuff of all kinds. All I can say is WOW. Today I dug into the closet and got an old pair of jeans out that I nearly threw away last year because I could not even get them up past my thighs, and today I zipped them up and am sitting comfortably in them here at the computer. This stuff WORKS - can't remember how I found this site, but I am SO grateful. Thanks everybody and good luck to anyone trying out the wonderful ACV!

I have struggled with GERD, Overweight, and fatigue for several years. After the medical discovery that Prilosec, Nexium and other medications as these can stop calcium from being absorbed in your bones, I was a little scared. So I decided to do some web surfing for natural cures.. And YOU WERE HERE! Over a week ago I started the ACV and HOT water with baking soda mixture. The first three days I lost 5 pounds and my reflux problem was gone. It tried to come back later that first week, so I increased my intake of AVC to a more powerful solution.
1/2 cup of ACV
1/2 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda ( 1 x day)

Today I weighed again ad I have lost 9 lbs! I am so happy! Plus my blood pressure is becoming more stable. The GERD is gone. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for this website! God bless you guys!!

ACV is amazing! I've been reading this website and decided to try 'The Cleanse' recipe for losing weight. On 2/5/07 I began taking 1/2 cup of _______s Unfiltered ACV, 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemons, cayenne pepper, and 2 tablespoons of honey in a quart of spring water and only 4 days later, I've lost 5 lbs.! I'm so excited about ACV; I didn't think it would work so fast. My goal is to lose 20-25 lbs. I will continue this regimen until I reach my goal. Thank you for this wonderful website!

Hi, I found this site and am amazed by what I am reading. My mother always told a story of how in the thirties, my uncle was a little boy and desperately ill. The doctors could not figure out what was wrong or how to help him and finally told my grandparents to prepare for the worst. Apparently all he kept asking for was vinegar (my mom never specified if it was ACV) and when things looked really bleak, they decided to let him have it since he never stopped asking for it and since there was no real reason to deny him, however bizarre it seemed to give it to him. He apparently struggled to drink it, but got through a whole bottle in a few hours despite his weakness. The fever suddenly broke and he fully recovered, and to this day no one in my family really understood how. Now I'm getting a clue as to why! So, I thought I would try the honey/water/AVC drink three times a day- today is day 5 and while I didn't see any real weight loss until today, today my jeans are suddenly loose! Also been using it as a toner and guess what! No trip to the dermo like I planned because my pores are getting smaller on their own! Depression doing a lot better too - though the jury is still out on that since today I was a bit down after a few up days - will check back in and let everyone know- but WOW! I'm amazed! My little uncle was really on to something, clearly!

I just found this site the other day and have been reading some of the letters and all of the wonderful benefits these formulas are doing for everyone. I love this site and I'm going to keep coming back and reading more letters and how people are being help with all these formulas.

I have been drinking A/C/V and water for a very long time but, had to stop because I was losing to much weight. I starting back about a month ago and lost a lot of weight again I weight 110 when I started and now I weight 103. I'm going to stop dirning a 16oz glass once a day. Now I'm going to drink an 8oz glass every other day. I'm only 5'1 1/2" tall so, I don't need to lose anymore weight.

I was reading where you guys use baking soda in your A/C/V I tried that yesterday in an 8oz glass and I really did like it. It takes away some of that vinegar taste.

Food combining for improved digestion and slow weight loss...

I have had problems with overeating all my life. Since my latest juice fasting, I was determined to find a way to stay slim and not overeat any more. I want to share it: As a general guideline I don't eat any processed foods. I use organic, fresh produce, few nuts, no oils or butters, little carbohydrates, ACV, blackstrap molasses, ground flaxseeds, very little fish and chicken for my cravings, food combining (either protein and vegetables or carbohydrates and vegetables or fruits), our own eggs. I also drink daily Grapefruit-Orange juice.

I use the ACV mostly with the food I eat instead of drinking it. So I started pickling with ACV, make salads with ACV. I eat many small portions (for ex. 3 soft boiled eggs with a bit of horseradish or some olives) during the day. I am never starved, I feel I eat a lot without ever feeling stuffed. I don't need to loose weight but do so very slowly and steadily. My digestion has improved, flatulence and gas are hardly any problem and I feel good. The less I eat, the more I eat quality. I can easily buy everything organic (farmer's market helps, too) as my portions are small now and I am saving big by not buying chips, cakes, chocolates, sweets and all other junk.

I have also had no success using ACV for weight loss. I have tried it off and on for periods of about a month, have tried it with meals, before, in between but unfortunately i've had absolutely no change. (ToT)

Warning

Please don't brush your teeth right after having vinegar. It grinds the vinegar into your tooth enamel and causes it to wear down. Do rinse your mouth with water. Once vinegar in neutralized it should be safe to brush your teeth.

I have been struggling with my weight for a long time. I became hypothyroid after the birth of my second son. My weight skyrocketed up to 260 on my 5ft 10 inch frame. I was getting joint pain, back pain, no energy, irritable bowels, depression..so I began eating more whole grains,vegetables, took multivitamins, ate natural yogurt each day, exercised every day..nothing worked. then I read this book written by a doctor from vermont in like 1958 about apple cider vinegar. Sounded weird but I have tried weirder stuff so I began drinking a teaspoon of it in a glass of water with a teaspoon of honey. That was one month ago. My weight is 239. thats 20 pounds in a month. oh, I am 38 years old.

I use the ACV 500 mg pills...2 pills, two to three times a day, begore meals. My Chlestrol was 257...I weighed 176 pounds...started taking them Sept. 1, 2006. December 2006, my chlestrol dropped to 120..my weight dropped to 162..today my weight is 149 and I haven't had my chlestrol checked yet. I feel great!!

I have been drinking apple cider vinegar for about six years. What I noticed right away was I don't have any of joint stiffness and pain. When I stop using it for more than 4 days, the pain returns to my back and neck. I also noticed that my weight is always perfect for my height 5'6", 127 pounds, 54 years old. wow! lost all the baby fat. thinner now than before i was pregnant. it really works. i take 2tsp-at least 3* daily. straight-no water. i am lean. not to mention detoxing more a la potty time. i get a comment on the weight loss on a daily basis from those who haven't seen me in a while. stick to it..at least 3* daily..before or after meals-especially before bed.

I learned about the Apple Cider Vinegar for weight loss from a parent of one of the girls I coached in soccer. I used it twice a day, in the morning (2 table spoons in apple cider) and 2 tablespoons again before I go to sleep. I ate sensibly and exercised two days a week. I lost about 60 pounds in 4 months. Recently I went back to it when I felt my weight was getting back up to an unacceptable level. Using the same plan I have lost 25 pounds in 3 weeks. I find that using about 4 ounces of apple cider does a good job of making the taste of the ACV. It's working for me, you may want to try it

i had acid reflux problem doctor prescribed me 60 pills of pravacid i tought i am only 33 and how long do i have to take these killer pills cuz i was allready on prevacid for last couple of months and it didnt help it felt ok when i took them but problem came back again then i came across this website and thank to apple cider vinegar i too it 2 spoons after eating and 3 spoons in half cup of warm water for a week upon rising and i cant belive i lost weight and i have increased motablism , o and specially wanna mention about that green stuff called mucus it starts leaving ur body and so many other things u will never expect in ur stool (IF)? u can over come taste of apple cider vinegar .i mixed 1 tbl spoon of honey with it . use only pure from health food stores . trust me ppl this is no bullshit thats what i thought before i used it

I started weight watchers jan 4th of 2007 and in with it I have been taking acv. I have lost 36 lbs as of may 16th. I feek great. I take 2t. Of acv 3 times a day with water after every meal. When i do this i drink it with a straw so that i do not have my teeth exposed to it. My question is, are my teeth still in danger to the acv? what should i do? thanks

This is update #1. I've been taking ______ ACV religiously 3 times daily (1/8 - 1/4 cup). Since I've started taking the vinegar, I've noticed a lot of other benefits besides helping to heal my sinus problem. My energy level has greatly increased. This has allowed me to start exercising more. I started walking about an hour a day (at least 3 days a week) for a few weeks, and now I'm even jogging on occasion. So far in the past 2 weeks, I've lost a few pounds, which of course is related to the exercise, but I still maintain it wouldn't be possible without the ACV and the energy I've gotten from not being sick all the time. God bless this site and for the information you provide. I'll give another update in a month or so. As I like to say as a toast when I take the ACV... Here's to your health

oh my GOD i can't believe it i have tried to lose weight forever i have only been on apple cider vinegar for 3 weeks i have lost 17 pounds i have also been using acv for my hair rinse wash my body i look great and feel like a new person i haven't told anyone what i have been doing and different people have been coming up to me say what are you doing you look great i can't believe this is not recommended for all people for different reasons i thank GOD everyday

26 Days ago I decided to try and get my weight down for my vacation, now in 11 days. At first, I told myself 37 days, I can just go running everyday, do my stairmaster and eat well, I should be able to be back to my normal weight of 115 or less, in the 37 days. At the time I was about 126, and I originally gained up to the 137 mark! SO I really wanted to lose that last 10-11 pounds before my vacay. I was on a roll with my exercises, then I got sick, and stopped and 1 day turned to 2 turned to 3. So then I went online looking for motivation, tips, etc. I found the Apple Cider Vinegar diet on Earthclinic. I was amazed and so motivated by the feedback I read, so I figured, what could it hurt? Well I have been on it for about 2 weeks, I weighed in this morning at 116. I have NO idea how this is happening, I eat what I like on the weekends, and a light lunch during the week and what I want for dinner. I changed none of my eatting habits from when I had the weight, and yet, I am weighing in at 116. I am so happy, I have told my co-workers, Gramma, friends, about this diet, I feel it really works. I was so discouraged before, I haven't felt good about my body in over a year. Thank you for your website!

I used vinegar several years ago when I lived in Florida, it worked great. My friend told me about it, and we usually mix the vinegar with V8 and drink it 2 or 3 times a day. Well recently since i weighed myself and found myself at 217 pounds I about died, already after one week im down to 204 pounds. It works for me!

I have tried the Apple Cider Vinegar both in liquid and pill Form.
Breakfast- Pill with water with breakfast
Snack- Regular Snack
Lunch- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before lunch
dinner- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before dinner
before bed- 1 pill with water

I feel so good and so much better and hope to see a weight loss since I see so many people have succeded, this could actually be the miracle diet!

Hey! I've been taking ACV for about 10 days with meals...twice a day. The best way I found to take it without tasting the actual vinegar is to put it in a glass of water with an AIRBORNE tablet. Airborne is great for keeping colds away and giving you energy...so I suggest taking it this way because you won't actually taste the vinegar and it actually tastes really good. I take the "lemon-lime" AIRBORNE (invented by a school teacher--fizzy drink) tablet...with a glass of water...and i use the measuring cup for cough syrup to measure the vinegar... my recipe: 1 Lemon-line Airborne tablet 1 glass of water at room temp 2 table spoons ACV

Drink it before meals twice a day...

I always brush my teeth right after too, the acidity is so high in the vinegar that my teeth started to get sensitive because the vinegar wears on the enamel. Anyway, I started out as being 108lbs...I just wanted to lose about 5 or 6lbs before going on vacay (to a beach city). That might seem like a lot of weight to lose but I am only about 5ft tall and very petite. Anyway, this stuff really works if you stick to it. I didn't lose weight gradually. I dropped about 4lbs in 5 days on the 5th day. For the skeptics out there, TRY IT! It also works great for sore throats...It helped me!

I just thank the Lord for blessing you people in finding these remedies. The diet i'm on is the acv& honey-water diet. I cried when i walked passed my husband and he said i look thinner, everyone now keep telling me how smaller I'm getting, this really works!! I just wanted to say that the acv diet really works. When I first started the program I was 196lbs and I've been on it for 9 days and I now weight 187lbs!! I am so happy I stopped the diet, but I am now back on it. I am also doing the colon cleanse as well. The only thing that I am unsure about is how much am I to drink per day?

Hi, I have been drinking the apple cider vinegar concoction 3-4 times a day (about 2 tbsp ACV, 1 tbsp honey, 1/2 cup water, and occasionally molasses and cinnamon if its handy), and not consciously trying to diet (or exercise) in any other way- sort of out of laziness and sort of in an attempt to see if this stuff works- well, its been three weeks and I just got on the scale for the first time because I knew I'd lost a lot and wasn't scared of the dreaded scale like I usually am- I AM 124 POUNDS!!!! I'm 5ft 3in so this isn't quite my ideal yet, but I was almost 140 when I started this. I think the way it works is by just really killing your appetite while giving you some nourishment so your metabolism doesn't go into free fall. I've still been eating - I just am not that interested in it anymore. Not that into coffee anymore either, and my smoking is DOWN- I'll be honest, one of the reasons I didn't want to give up smoking was I was worried I would gain more weight. Ok, so I am losing AND smoking less- guess that reasoning is now blown out of the water. It just seems to kill your appetite for stuff of all kinds. All I can say is WOW. Today I dug into the closet and got an old pair of jeans out that I nearly threw away last year because I could not even get them up past my thighs, and today I zipped them up and am sitting comfortably in them here at the computer. This stuff WORKS - can't remember how I found this site, but I am SO grateful. Thanks everybody and good luck to anyone trying out the wonderful ACV!

I have struggled with GERD, Overweight, and fatigue for several years. After the medical discovery that Prilosec, Nexium and other medications as these can stop calcium from being absorbed in your bones, I was a little scared. So I decided to do some web surfing for natural cures.. And YOU WERE HERE! Over a week ago I started the ACV and HOT water with baking soda mixture. The first three days I lost 5 pounds and my reflux problem was gone. It tried to come back later that first week, so I increased my intake of AVC to a more powerful solution.
1/2 cup of ACV
1/2 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda ( 1 x day)

Today I weighed again ad I have lost 9 lbs! I am so happy! Plus my blood pressure is becoming more stable. The GERD is gone. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for this website! God bless you guys!!

ACV is amazing! I've been reading this website and decided to try 'The Cleanse' recipe for losing weight. On 2/5/07 I began taking 1/2 cup of _______s Unfiltered ACV, 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemons, cayenne pepper, and 2 tablespoons of honey in a quart of spring water and only 4 days later, I've lost 5 lbs.! I'm so excited about ACV; I didn't think it would work so fast. My goal is to lose 20-25 lbs. I will continue this regimen until I reach my goal. Thank you for this wonderful website!

Hi, I found this site and am amazed by what I am reading. My mother always told a story of how in the thirties, my uncle was a little boy and desperately ill. The doctors could not figure out what was wrong or how to help him and finally told my grandparents to prepare for the worst. Apparently all he kept asking for was vinegar (my mom never specified if it was ACV) and when things looked really bleak, they decided to let him have it since he never stopped asking for it and since there was no real reason to deny him, however bizarre it seemed to give it to him. He apparently struggled to drink it, but got through a whole bottle in a few hours despite his weakness. The fever suddenly broke and he fully recovered, and to this day no one in my family really understood how. Now I'm getting a clue as to why! So, I thought I would try the honey/water/AVC drink three times a day- today is day 5 and while I didn't see any real weight loss until today, today my jeans are suddenly loose! Also been using it as a toner and guess what! No trip to the dermo like I planned because my pores are getting smaller on their own! Depression doing a lot better too - though the jury is still out on that since today I was a bit down after a few up days - will check back in and let everyone know- but WOW! I'm amazed! My little uncle was really on to something, clearly!

I need to lose about 20 pounds. I tried the apple cider vinegar remedy as suggested here in EC (organic, with the mother). I felt great and even had quite a bit more energy. My stomach seemed flatter. And I felt more motivated to get things done that I had been procrastinating doing. The only problem is that it almost stopped up my bowel movements. I had only been taking it for 4-5 days, 2-3 times per day, approx 2 tablespoons each time. Sometimes I would add a little honey. Other times I added a half teaspoon of baking soda. I became so constipated when I'm normally quite regular. I stopped taking it and now almost 3 weeks later I'm still not back to normal. I need to take herbal laxatives and magnesium to have a bowel movement. Anyone have any idea why this might be and what could be done to prevent and fix it?

I have hypothyroidism and for years I fought to lose weight. I tried every diet out there, exercised everyday for 2-3 hours a day. I would lose 5-20 lbs and gain it all back, plus some. I finally saw a dietitian and found out I was doing it all wrong. She explained that people with thyroid issues, can't digest food fast enough, if large volumes of food are eaten. So I was put on a six mini meal a day plan. I was also told no more than thirty minutes of cardio. I did this and very slowly the weight was coming off. I wanted quicker results and saw an article about ACV, baking soda, and lemon. I have hypertension and opted out on baking soda.

I started drinking 2 TBSP of ACV in 4 ounces of water, three times a day. Immediately the pounds started melting away faster with the program I was on. I went from 259 lbs down to 197 lbs in six months. Even my blood pressure dropped to normal, my cholesterol levels were normal, and the inflammation in my joints were gone. If not for weight loss....do it for your health. It's worth it!!

I have been taking apple cider vinegar for the past month to lose weight. It's working and I feel awesome. I take a teaspoon of ac vinegar in hot water with lemon when I wake up, then a tablespoon of it in my sports water bottle, which I sip all day. I have lost 4 pounds so far.

I have been trying to take this apple cider vinegar to lose weight mixed with water and cayenne pepper and lemon juice... But when I do I get a headache.....does it have anything to do with my medicine that I take....bp med latansan, nexium and crestor alliegen med?

I am a believer! I thank God for you. I stumbled upon your website because I was looking for a natural way to lose weight. I was at my wits end. I started reading all of the ACV reviews and they gave me so much encouragement. I had some organic ACV in my kitchen so I started the regimine two weeks ago. I started at 215 lbs and this morning I weigh 209.8! So far I'm down 6 pounds!! During this time my husband and I went out for a special dinner and I had wine, bread, a steak dinner, mac and cheese, and cheesecake for dessert! I have not dieted or worked out once. I take 2 tbls with 6-8 ounces of water 3 times a day and the weight is slowly but surely coming off. Before I would have been so discouraged because I wanted the weight to come off quickly. I have now realized that, like the turtle, slow and steady is the way to go. Along with the weight loss I have also noticed other benefits as well. My skin is glowing, the whites of my eyes are "whiter", I am post-menopausal and would wake up several times throughout the night but since I started taking ACV I sleep without waking up (unless I have to make a bathroom run), and my energy is through the roof! I am so very happy for the weight loss and the other benefits from ACV. This is some amazing stuff! I will continue to take it for life!

wow! lost all the baby fat. thinner now than before i was pregnant. it really works. i take 2tsp-at least 3* daily. straight-no water. i am lean. not to mention detoxing more a la potty time. i get a comment on the weight loss on a daily basis from those who haven't seen me in a while. stick to it..at least 3* daily..before or after meals-especially before bed.

I learned about the Apple Cider Vinegar for weight loss from a parent of one of the girls I coached in soccer. I used it twice a day, in the morning (2 table spoons in apple cider) and 2 tablespoons again before I go to sleep. I ate sensibly and exercised two days a week. I lost about 60 pounds in 4 months. Recently I went back to it when I felt my weight was getting back up to an unacceptable level. Using the same plan I have lost 25 pounds in 3 weeks. I find that using about 4 ounces of apple cider does a good job of making the taste of the ACV. It's working for me, you may want to try it

i had acid reflux problem doctor prescribed me 60 pills of pravacid i tought i am only 33 and how long do i have to take these killer pills cuz i was allready on prevacid for last couple of months and it didnt help it felt ok when i took them but problem came back again then i came across this website and thank to apple cider vinegar i too it 2 spoons after eating and 3 spoons in half cup of warm water for a week upon rising and i cant belive i lost weight and i have increased motablism , o and specially wanna mention about that green stuff called mucus it starts leaving ur body and so many other things u will never expect in ur stool (IF)? u can over come taste of apple cider vinegar .i mixed 1 tbl spoon of honey with it . use only pure from health food stores . trust me ppl this is no bullshit thats what i thought before i used it

I started weight watchers jan 4th of 2007 and in with it I have been taking acv. I have lost 36 lbs as of may 16th. I feek great. I take 2t. Of acv 3 times a day with water after every meal. When i do this i drink it with a straw so that i do not have my teeth exposed to it. My question is, are my teeth still in danger to the acv? what should i do? thanks

This is update #1. I've been taking ______ ACV religiously 3 times daily (1/8 - 1/4 cup). Since I've started taking the vinegar, I've noticed a lot of other benefits besides helping to heal my sinus problem. My energy level has greatly increased. This has allowed me to start exercising more. I started walking about an hour a day (at least 3 days a week) for a few weeks, and now I'm even jogging on occasion. So far in the past 2 weeks, I've lost a few pounds, which of course is related to the exercise, but I still maintain it wouldn't be possible without the ACV and the energy I've gotten from not being sick all the time. God bless this site and for the information you provide. I'll give another update in a month or so. As I like to say as a toast when I take the ACV... Here's to your health

oh my GOD i can't believe it i have tried to lose weight forever i have only been on apple cider vinegar for 3 weeks i have lost 17 pounds i have also been using acv for my hair rinse wash my body i look great and feel like a new person i haven't told anyone what i have been doing and different people have been coming up to me say what are you doing you look great i can't believe this is not recommended for all people for different reasons i thank GOD everyday

26 Days ago I decided to try and get my weight down for my vacation, now in 11 days. At first, I told myself 37 days, I can just go running everyday, do my stairmaster and eat well, I should be able to be back to my normal weight of 115 or less, in the 37 days. At the time I was about 126, and I originally gained up to the 137 mark! SO I really wanted to lose that last 10-11 pounds before my vacay. I was on a roll with my exercises, then I got sick, and stopped and 1 day turned to 2 turned to 3. So then I went online looking for motivation, tips, etc. I found the Apple Cider Vinegar diet on Earthclinic. I was amazed and so motivated by the feedback I read, so I figured, what could it hurt? Well I have been on it for about 2 weeks, I weighed in this morning at 116. I have NO idea how this is happening, I eat what I like on the weekends, and a light lunch during the week and what I want for dinner. I changed none of my eatting habits from when I had the weight, and yet, I am weighing in at 116. I am so happy, I have told my co-workers, Gramma, friends, about this diet, I feel it really works. I was so discouraged before, I haven't felt good about my body in over a year. Thank you for your website!

I used vinegar several years ago when I lived in Florida, it worked great. My friend told me about it, and we usually mix the vinegar with V8 and drink it 2 or 3 times a day. Well recently since i weighed myself and found myself at 217 pounds I about died, already after one week im down to 204 pounds. It works for me!

I have tried the Apple Cider Vinegar both in liquid and pill Form.
Breakfast- Pill with water with breakfast
Snack- Regular Snack
Lunch- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before lunch
dinner- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before dinner
before bed- 1 pill with water

I feel so good and so much better and hope to see a weight loss since I see so many people have succeded, this could actually be the miracle diet!

Hey! I've been taking ACV for about 10 days with meals...twice a day. The best way I found to take it without tasting the actual vinegar is to put it in a glass of water with an AIRBORNE tablet. Airborne is great for keeping colds away and giving you energy...so I suggest taking it this way because you won't actually taste the vinegar and it actually tastes really good. I take the "lemon-lime" AIRBORNE (invented by a school teacher--fizzy drink) tablet...with a glass of water...and i use the measuring cup for cough syrup to measure the vinegar... my recipe: 1 Lemon-line Airborne tablet 1 glass of water at room temp 2 table spoons ACV

Drink it before meals twice a day...

I always brush my teeth right after too, the acidity is so high in the vinegar that my teeth started to get sensitive because the vinegar wears on the enamel. Anyway, I started out as being 108lbs...I just wanted to lose about 5 or 6lbs before going on vacay (to a beach city). That might seem like a lot of weight to lose but I am only about 5ft tall and very petite. Anyway, this stuff really works if you stick to it. I didn't lose weight gradually. I dropped about 4lbs in 5 days on the 5th day. For the skeptics out there, TRY IT! It also works great for sore throats...It helped me!

I just thank the Lord for blessing you people in finding these remedies. The diet i'm on is the acv& honey-water diet. I cried when i walked passed my husband and he said i look thinner, everyone now keep telling me how smaller I'm getting, this really works!! Praise God you never know what people go through in life, and i was so tired of being heavy, heart aches, knee problems, cant run after my kids enough, and i'm only 26 yrs. old!!! thanks 2 everyone

I just wanted to say that the acv diet really works. When I first started the program I was 196lbs and I've been on it for 9 days and I now weight 187lbs!! I am so happy I stopped the diet, but I am now back on it. I am also doing the colon cleanse as well. The only thing that I am unsure about is how much am I to drink per day?

Hi, I have been drinking the apple cider vinegar concoction 3-4 times a day (about 2 tbsp ACV, 1 tbsp honey, 1/2 cup water, and occasionally molasses and cinnamon if its handy), and not consciously trying to diet (or exercise) in any other way- sort of out of laziness and sort of in an attempt to see if this stuff works- well, its been three weeks and I just got on the scale for the first time because I knew I'd lost a lot and wasn't scared of the dreaded scale like I usually am- I AM 124 POUNDS!!!! I'm 5ft 3in so this isn't quite my ideal yet, but I was almost 140 when I started this. I think the way it works is by just really killing your appetite while giving you some nourishment so your metabolism doesn't go into free fall. I've still been eating - I just am not that interested in it anymore. Not that into coffee anymore either, and my smoking is DOWN- I'll be honest, one of the reasons I didn't want to give up smoking was I was worried I would gain more weight. Ok, so I am losing AND smoking less- guess that reasoning is now blown out of the water. It just seems to kill your appetite for stuff of all kinds. All I can say is WOW. Today I dug into the closet and got an old pair of jeans out that I nearly threw away last year because I could not even get them up past my thighs, and today I zipped them up and am sitting comfortably in them here at the computer. This stuff WORKS - can't remember how I found this site, but I am SO grateful. Thanks everybody and good luck to anyone trying out the wonderful ACV!

I have struggled with GERD, Overweight, and fatigue for several years. After the medical discovery that Prilosec, Nexium and other medications as these can stop calcium from being absorbed in your bones, I was a little scared. So I decided to do some web surfing for natural cures.. And YOU WERE HERE! Over a week ago I started the ACV and HOT water with baking soda mixture. The first three days I lost 5 pounds and my reflux problem was gone. It tried to come back later that first week, so I increased my intake of AVC to a more powerful solution.
1/2 cup of ACV
1/2 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda ( 1 x day)

Today I weighed again ad I have lost 9 lbs! I am so happy! Plus my blood pressure is becoming more stable. The GERD is gone. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for this website! God bless you guys!!

ACV is amazing! I've been reading this website and decided to try 'The Cleanse' recipe for losing weight. On 2/5/07 I began taking 1/2 cup of _______s Unfiltered ACV, 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemons, cayenne pepper, and 2 tablespoons of honey in a quart of spring water and only 4 days later, I've lost 5 lbs.! I'm so excited about ACV; I didn't think it would work so fast. My goal is to lose 20-25 lbs. I will continue this regimen until I reach my goal. Thank you for this wonderful website!

Hi, I found this site and am amazed by what I am reading. My mother always told a story of how in the thirties, my uncle was a little boy and desperately ill. The doctors could not figure out what was wrong or how to help him and finally told my grandparents to prepare for the worst. Apparently all he kept asking for was vinegar (my mom never specified if it was ACV) and when things looked really bleak, they decided to let him have it since he never stopped asking for it and since there was no real reason to deny him, however bizarre it seemed to give it to him. He apparently struggled to drink it, but got through a whole bottle in a few hours despite his weakness. The fever suddenly broke and he fully recovered, and to this day no one in my family really understood how. Now I'm getting a clue as to why! So, I thought I would try the honey/water/AVC drink three times a day- today is day 5 and while I didn't see any real weight loss until today, today my jeans are suddenly loose! Also been using it as a toner and guess what! No trip to the dermo like I planned because my pores are getting smaller on their own! Depression doing a lot better too - though the jury is still out on that since today I was a bit down after a few up days - will check back in and let everyone know- but WOW! I'm amazed! My little uncle was really on to something, clearly!
