Hi I use 10 ppm of CS in my eyes for pink eye, twice a day. Its working. Use for at least 2 days, then just evening for 1- 2 days . Works great. Also wiping my eye lids down with very y diluted sea salt about 1/2 teaspoon in a cup water. So much better
Great advice, Lily. Works great. Tried the teabags first but only temporary relief. I drop 10ppm colloidal silver each eye every 3 hours. The worst eye herxed with the first drop, but only for about 5 minutes, then with every dose it got better and better. I'm on the second day and will continue treatment for 5 days. As soon as the itch is gone I'll reduce to 3 times daily.
I use CS with 500 PPM- I use 10 drops in a coffee cup filled with distilled water, cover with foil and store in the refrigerator. It feels better on my eyes with cold drops. Then I just use one or two drops 2 or 3 times a day when I get that gritty feeling that something is not right. That dilutes it well and only a tiny bit of stinging, not painful.
I read this last night, tried it this morning and my eye is already clearing up an hour later! Just a few drops and the gritty feeling is already gone. It stung for a few seconds but so worth it to not look bloodshot in my meeting later today. Thank you!
I had woke up with my right eye goopy and red which had never happened to me before. I tried a couple of the remedies on this site (ACV & Lugols Iodine)to no avail. I read a post regarding colloidal silver, which I actually had in my arsenal of natural cures. I tried one drop in each eye in the Am and Pm for 2 days and it is nearly cleared up! Best cure for this issue for me. It didn't burn or sting and got rid of the redness so fast!
I had really bad conjunctivitis for over a month resulting in time off work, doctor prescribed me three different antibiotics and although they seemed to start working at first they never cleared it. Then I read about colloidal silver and decided to try it. A drop in each eye once in morning and once at night for first two days, then once at night only for a further two days and voila! It was basically clear after two days but still getting slightly sticky eyes in the morning so continued for two more days and I was cured!
Hi there. I just recently bought colloidal silver for the treatment of my pink eye. It first started in my left eye about 4 days ago. I used some antibiotic drops left over from when my children had it just the week before. Woke up about yesterday with my right eye completely swollen and discharging. Couldn't afford to go to the doctor again so I bought some CS. I did my first dose, 2 drops in each eye, at 1:30 pm and it started clearing. Did a 2nd dose, again 2 drops each, at 4:30pm. Still fine. At about 7:45pm I did my final dose, and my right eye instantly swelled and became irritated, red, discharging again and was very painful. I'm wondering what I did wrong, or if I am having a reaction. I don't believe its a reaction necessarily because my left eye is fine. The ppm of the CS is 50.
Any advice on what to do? I really want to stop the spread of the pink eye as we have a very full house and its already made its way past my 2 children, myself and my nephew. So I'm trying to prevent it passing thru my husband, brother and niece. Should I discontinue the use of CS or is this normal? I've never used it before so any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
I mix raw honey, Colloidal Silver (CS) & Greek organic plain yogurt in a dropper.
Put it in eye every 20 minutes or so for a few hours. It will burn just a bit at first. You have to put it I'm your eye at least twice an hour to be effective.
I think I overdid it! Started putting drops in today and was doing a drop every few hours. Eye seems even more irritated now. What do I do? Stop using it? Keep using it but only twice a day? What did your mom do when she realized she overdid it? Should I rinse it out?
I use colloidal silver, a couple of drops in the eye and it clears up pink eye within hours, not days. My dog looked like her eye was going to pop out and I put 2 drops in her eye and within hours it was back to normal. This is the fastest working thing I have ever seen. Me and my children always have a bottle on hand. It is miraculous to me.
I use colloidal silver for conjunctivitis. Use two drops in each eye and blink a little to get it all over the eyelash roots. Twice a day till all is clear.
Hello, and I too have used Colloidal Silver on conjunctivitis .... pink eye.
That virus is a killer to get rid of but for the past 15 years when I first read it would work I've used it to quickly get rid of the infection.
I use two drops of CS in each eye twice a day for two days. I was told by an ophthalmologist who was a professor of ophthalmology not to use the CS beyond 2 days because the CS could take off the cells of the eyeball.
Colloidal Silver seemed to work for me for an eye infection. Went down fine. Not sure if it would have gone down by itself, though. Colloidal silver seems to work for almost all topical infections I have :) I just make it myself and apply it once or twice a day with whatever is appropriate, such as in this case I used a pipette.

Miracle Cure! After using antibiotic eye drops and my infection getting worse, I came here and combined your top two remedies. I had some old 18 ppm collodial silver and I added a bit of isotonic saline solution to fill my bottle and just enough organic Apple Cider Vinegar to give the solution a slight burn when dropped in my eyes. I put the drops in hourly while awake. One day later, and no green gunk, the itching, reddness and pain is almost completely gone. I will continue for a few more days just to make sure the infection is gone.
Pink Eye: Yea for Colloidal silver. I used it twice a day for 3 days, by day 2 it was almost gone, by day 3 all clear. Used it years later when my son got it and worked just as quick.
I have contracted pink eye at least seven times in the last fifteen years. Two drops in each eye of colloidal silver twice a day for two days cured it every time. Don't use the silver for more than two days; it will start erroding some of the layer of the eye. That happened to my mother once when she overdid the use of the silver. But the tissue healed and in four or five days she no longer had the blurred vision... And the pink eye was gone. But the point is... Don't overdo the silver.... just two drops, twice a day for two days.
Not in any way criticizing any other suggestions listed above but I've easily dealt with pink eye by using a few drops of colloidal silver onto eye ball itself. Twice a day for two days. Gone.
Failed me this time! -- I've had pink eye for 13 days now, was becoming increasingly frustrated by the 10th day. C. Silver was not working like it did before, and I planned to just call the doctor for an Rx. I started to read more about pH and acid-alkaline in the body for my husband, and stumbled on a possible answer to my recurring ailments, e. G. pink eye, hair loss, etc.
On the night of the 10th day of pink eye, I decided to drink a green smoothie and I was feeling SO much better within 1/2 an hour. The itching and swelling began to reduce. I am possibly suffering from acidosis, so I will pursue more knowledge on that, and ask for a pH blood test from my doctor.
It's the 12th day, and I have almost no more itching, very little swelling and discharge, but I did suffer symptoms of a head cold/sinus infection the next day after the green smoothie. Like the infection traveled trying to get away -- I also started using a boric acid eyewash, which is slightly alkaline.
If c. silver isn't working for you, try drinking a green smoothie to see if it makes a difference, you may need some pH balancing.
I would like to add another "YEA" to using colloidal silver for pink eye.
I contracted pink eye from someone at work. I had leftover antibiotic eye drops, but I have been trying to get over candida overgrowth and C. Diff, and therefore I am no fan of them. I went on EarthClinic and found a number of people had tried colloidal silver for pink eye. I had some left over from when I was sick a few months ago, so I thought I'd give it a try. I applied one drop every 2 or so hours all day on Day 1. It is now Day 2, and it is almost completely gone! Thanks!
My recent eye infection treated with anti inflammitory drops antibiotic drops for 1 week with little results and no resolve. C.S. began working immediately and infection was completely resolved within a few days.

Hi Lattelisa - I too have tried colloidal silver for pink eye and found that, with applications several times during the day, within a day or two my eye was clear; the pink eye never fully developed.
Two days ago I had a sore throat - it hurt so bad I could barely swallow - it felt like strep in the making. I doubled up on echinacea and took colloidal silver in water 2 or 3 times and ~ VIOLA! Throat is feelin' fine.... Gotta love it. Here's to our Health, by natural means.....Linda
I kept sleeping with my contacts for weeks and noticed my eyes getting a little more uncomfortable everyday, but this morning they were gooping pus, red, and tearing. I decided to throw out my contacts and take it easy today.
First thing I did was use a drop of colloidal silver, it felt slightly gritty for the first 10 seconds or so, but then felt wonderful afterwards. I continued to add more drops since it finally made my eyes feel better, and then another drop every hour so so afterwards.
At noon I also put warm and then cool Earl Grey tea bags over my eyes this afternoon and put a tiny bid of neosporin around the rims of my eyes and wiped the remainder away.
This afternoon I was able to put a new pair of contacts in my eyes and they really feel wonderful. I think the colloidal silver worked the best though. Every time I put another drop in my eye, it just felt so much better.
This really works. My 7yo woke up with crusty itchy eyes. At first we were going to take her to the dr, but I decided to check Earthclinic first. I'm glad I did. I put one drop of colloidal silver in each eye twice a day and it cleared up in about 3 days. Also, I made sure I washed and changed her bedding before starting the treatment.
I started to get pink eye many years ago. A few people at work had it. I was watching TV and rubbing my eye. It was starting to itch when all of a sudden I realized..... Oh crap. I looked in the mirror and sure enough it was all red and a little puffy. I put a few drops of collodial silver in. Immediate relief. About an hour later I put in some more before going to bed. In the morning there was no signs of it.
I've had pink eye 3 times in my life. What worked the best was colloidal silver. One drop in each eye every 4-6 hours; no touching or rubbing the eye(s); washing hands and washing anything that had touched my face (towels, pillow case, etc. ), and depending on the severity, the pink eye cleared up within 24 hours to 3-4 days. It's also important to be sure and sleep on your back. If you lie on the side that is not infected and a tear travels from the infected eye, over the bridge of your nose, and some how makes contact with your good eye, then you'll wake up with 2 pink eyes. I know, since it happened to me. : (
Now if I feel any discomfort in my eyes and suspect pink eye, I'll quickly use the silver. The Santa Ana winds in So California is the worst time for pink eye. Wear sunglasses if the winds are blowing.
I had a developing pink eye last Friday noticed by my manager, at the same time I was starting to not feel too well. When I got home, my husband had me put a soaked hot cloth on my eye for 15 minutes, later washed it with cloth with baby shampoo and water, then finally washed it with just plain water. I searched on the internet for added information and saw the silver colloidal mineral testimony so I did it also by using q-tip since we don't have available spray bottle as suggested. I did the washing one more time the next morning and kept using the silver colloidal mineral using qtip as an eye drop all throughout the day.
By Sunday , it was totally gone-except for my flu. Ever since Friday when I started to noticed I was having sypmtoms of flu I started drinking the Apple Cider Vinegar with water and eat tablespoons of honey which I liked. I love taste of vinegar coz in the Philippines I grew up using it in all my fruits and even drinking it. Anyway, the next day Saturday, on my day off I did it again like morning, afternoon and evening. I never felt weak, I felt strong but I know my body is fighting a flu. The next day Sunday, I kept it going and by the end of the night, it was gone-totally. So thank you earth clinic for your help.
When my eyes get itchy and icky, colloidal silver (CS) works fast. I accidentally left the CS batch brewing for several hours and since the solution was bit yellow I don't ingest but works great topically.
Don't ever put 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in the eyes, I did that by accident. Contact lense used to have a cleaner called AOSEPT (you use with neutralizing disc) and I mistakened it for saline. Aosept was basically 3% H202. It burned so bad and turned eye so red and I kept flushing with water for like 1/2 an hour but no damage. Had it been 35% H202, it probably would have burned the corneal tissue!
But CS in eye is soothing provided you make it right, distilled water, pure silver (at least .999), no salt.
I have used Colloidal Silver for Pink Eye and it does work. I was a little scared at first since it was my eye, but it did not hurt and cleared very quickly, just as reported.
