I use colloidal silver for conjunctivitis. Use two drops in each eye and blink a little to get it all over the eyelash roots. Twice a day till all is clear.

Mike from UK re Pink Eye,

Hello, and I too have used Colloidal Silver on conjunctivitis .... pink eye.

That virus is a killer to get rid of but for the past 15 years when I first read it would work I've used it to quickly get rid of the infection.

I use two drops of CS in each eye twice a day for two days. I was told by an ophthalmologist who was a professor of ophthalmology not to use the CS beyond 2 days because the CS could take off the cells of the eyeball.

Colloidal Silver seemed to work for me for an eye infection. Went down fine. Not sure if it would have gone down by itself, though. Colloidal silver seems to work for almost all topical infections I have :) I just make it myself and apply it once or twice a day with whatever is appropriate, such as in this case I used a pipette.

Miracle Cure! After using antibiotic eye drops and my infection getting worse, I came here and combined your top two remedies. I had some old 18 ppm collodial silver and I added a bit of isotonic saline solution to fill my bottle and just enough organic Apple Cider Vinegar to give the solution a slight burn when dropped in my eyes. I put the drops in hourly while awake. One day later, and no green gunk, the itching, reddness and pain is almost completely gone. I will continue for a few more days just to make sure the infection is gone.

Pink Eye: Yea for Colloidal silver. I used it twice a day for 3 days, by day 2 it was almost gone, by day 3 all clear. Used it years later when my son got it and worked just as quick.

I have contracted pink eye at least seven times in the last fifteen years. Two drops in each eye of colloidal silver twice a day for two days cured it every time. Don't use the silver for more than two days; it will start erroding some of the layer of the eye. That happened to my mother once when she overdid the use of the silver. But the tissue healed and in four or five days she no longer had the blurred vision... And the pink eye was gone. But the point is... Don't overdo the silver.... just two drops, twice a day for two days.

Not in any way criticizing any other suggestions listed above but I've easily dealt with pink eye by using a few drops of colloidal silver onto eye ball itself. Twice a day for two days. Gone.

Failed me this time! -- I've had pink eye for 13 days now, was becoming increasingly frustrated by the 10th day. C. Silver was not working like it did before, and I planned to just call the doctor for an Rx. I started to read more about pH and acid-alkaline in the body for my husband, and stumbled on a possible answer to my recurring ailments, e. G. pink eye, hair loss, etc.

On the night of the 10th day of pink eye, I decided to drink a green smoothie and I was feeling SO much better within 1/2 an hour. The itching and swelling began to reduce. I am possibly suffering from acidosis, so I will pursue more knowledge on that, and ask for a pH blood test from my doctor.

It's the 12th day, and I have almost no more itching, very little swelling and discharge, but I did suffer symptoms of a head cold/sinus infection the next day after the green smoothie. Like the infection traveled trying to get away -- I also started using a boric acid eyewash, which is slightly alkaline.

If c. silver isn't working for you, try drinking a green smoothie to see if it makes a difference, you may need some pH balancing.

I would like to add another "YEA" to using colloidal silver for pink eye.

I contracted pink eye from someone at work. I had leftover antibiotic eye drops, but I have been trying to get over candida overgrowth and C. Diff, and therefore I am no fan of them. I went on EarthClinic and found a number of people had tried colloidal silver for pink eye. I had some left over from when I was sick a few months ago, so I thought I'd give it a try. I applied one drop every 2 or so hours all day on Day 1. It is now Day 2, and it is almost completely gone! Thanks!

My recent eye infection treated with anti inflammitory drops antibiotic drops for 1 week with little results and no resolve. C.S. began working immediately and infection was completely resolved within a few days.
