first time poster. I used ACV to remove a minuscule skin tag that was on my scrotum. I’ve had it for years, and I only recently thought about removing it.
So I soaked a cotton ball with Braggs ACV and taped it over the skin tag over night. I may think I applied far too much.
the next day the skin tag was practically gone, but unaffected areas on my scrotum turned black, under the skin. I think I severely burned parts of my penis. Healthy skin is now a black color. Is this permenant? I immediately started to apply neosporin, and have been for the last two days (these burns only showed up yesterday). Haven’t noticed much improvement.
The irony is, these black burn marks are very noticible, compared to the skin tag which was the size of a pin-head. Did I permanently damage healthy skin? What should I do besides use neosporin? It really does look like the burns aren’t on the surface, they look like they’re below a layer of skin. They’re not all together, sort of spread out with reddish irritation on the skin between burns.
its only been one full day since I noticed the burns and two since removing the skin tag.
Any responses would help. Thank you!

Day 2: I had a look at me behind and noticed a complete disaster. my tag wasn't white, black, shrunk or anything like I'd been expecting it to be - just bright red, swollen and very angry. all the skin around my anus has been BURNT by the apple cider vinegar which is complete pain, its scabby and dry. surprisingly the the tag itself doesn't hurt so much when I touch it, it's soft fleshy skin, not burnt.
I'm slightly confused? I am giving it a rest for today and will have a bath to soften the dried out and sore skin the ACV seems to have given a chemical burn to. I have a feeling I'm going to abandon this remedy and opt for another that I have seen on a different forum: Silicone Scar Gel.

For the past few years they have been spreading and now I have dozens and dozens of tiny skin tags on my neck, my collarbone area and down my chest between my breasts and along the bottom of my breasts (where the underwires rub I suppose). They are tiny, maybe 1/4 the size of a grain of rice, and most are flat, but there are so many I hate them. They are too small, flat and numerous to use the string method or to cut off. In fact, there are so many it is next to impossible to isolate them for applying ACV or tea-tree oil only on the skin tags.
After reading these posts I bought some 5% Apple Cider Vinegar, soaked a cotton ball and rubbed it on a 4x2 inch spot at the base of my neck by the collarbone. It did not hurt and seemed to make my skin smoother. So then I decided to rub it all over my neck and down my chest between and under my breasts. I did it again the next morning and this time it burned a little. When I redid it that night it really burned, and now I seem to have a burn on the side of my neck and a bad burn under one of my breasts. The surrounding skin is very red and sore and the tags themselves are quite red and seem to have grown or are standing up staighter or something as it is easier to pinpoint them. This morning I used Q-tips to apply the ACV and tried to apply just to the skin tags with some success.
I am not sure if I should keep trying this or if I am wasting my time since I cannot leave the entire area covered with soaked cotton as it burns too much. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
