My 10 year old son on Wednesday, in the 1st week of July 2026, showed a fist sized red rash on his back. The next day Thursday it was bigger and turned into a bulls eye mark and he complained of a headache and some neck pain. I gave him some baking soda to heal his headache, which it did. I then took some oil of oregano (80% carvacol), other ingredients are: vit.E and olive oil. I shook out a few drops and rubbed it in. He said it was itchy, which I took that it was working. I did this in the am, noon, and evening. Each time I did it, I saw the bulls eye slowly fading, however it did expand. My son continued to say the ointment was itchy. To help subside the neck pain he ate a raw fruit vegetable diet, no dairy, wheat, or meat. He also took a baking soda capsule each day to help alkalize his body. The next day the bulls eye was still quite noticeable and larger, however it continued to fade. I then added in a couple drops of Frankincense and rubbed it in with the oil of Oregano. My son only spoke of a itch, and the rash continued to fade. By Sunday afternoon, I took him into the hospital to get examined (family pressure). Both nurses could not see the rash and asked where it had been on his back. The doctor came in and asked the same thing. I showed her pictures of what the rash looked like. She said yes, it looks like Lyme disease. She then asked my son about any pain. He told here he didn't have any pain. His neck pain had gone completely by Saturday am (he was jumping and swimming in his granmother's pool). I told her he did complain of a headache and some neck pain originally, but both had gone by the time we were at the hospital. She prescribed him antibiotics as a preventative. I then asked her how long the antibiotics work for? She didn't know, but eventually came back and told me until the next tick bite. I then asked if we could get blood work to know if he does actually have Lyme disease, but I was informed they don't check for Lyme disease from bloodwork. I then asked how does she know the antibiotics work? She said there is no rash (just a shadow left) and no pain. I said in my head, "Oh, just like what has been presented today." She told me where to pick up my antibiotic prescription and I said thank you for her time and never picked up the prescription. He then left that evening for summer camp, and had a week filled with sunshine, exercise and friends. He had a great time. I'm writing this in September, he just started grade 5 and is a happy, healthy kid.
