You can normalize blood pressure in three months with garlic, but when you add enough cayenne, it can happen in three days. From the book: Curing With Cayenne by Sam Biser and Dr. Richard Schulze

I found that along with garlic, I take olive leaf extract, hawthorne and drink hibiscus tea and this combination works so well for high blood pressure.

Garlic really works on lowering high blood pressure. My late grandmother used to steep raw garlic in hot water for at least 3 minutes and drink the tea. She did this everytime she had high blood pressure. When I started having high blood pressure, I opted to use her remedy than taking the medicine prescribed by my doctor. Sometimes I chew a clove of raw garlic and drink water as an alternative to the tea.

My bp was 200/110 for 3 + weeks. I started eating roasted fresh garlic, 6 to 8 cloves before breakfast; after 3 days now my bp was down to 145/85.

I trim the bottom end (root end) and roasted the garlic at 400 deg F for 25 minutes. It worked wonders, can't believe it.

For high blood pressure:

1. Take a couple of cloves of garlic--dice/mince and put into a small glass jar-
2. Add enough fresh lemon juice to bring up that level 2 times the level of your garlic.
3. Let it sit about 15 -30 minutes at room temp.

TAKE ONLY THE LIQUID.

The lemon has extracted the garlic oils etc and you WILL NOT give off a garlic aroma-

Take 1 to 2 tsp 3 to 4 times a day for chest congestion or the high BP and ALWAYS follow the dose with a nice tall glass of WATER.

Store covered in the refrigerator and make fresh every 2 days or so. This ALSO WORKS on insect bites/stings--place liquid on it or via a cotton ball whatever and also removes pus from infected scratches etc. I have also SEEN IT cauterize kitchen accidents when that knife slips- and literally remove pus and old blood from an infected scrape on my own kid's leg--my neighbor said to try this 1st as she saw my distress at the mess a simple scratch had morphed into overnight leading me to know that now this would need incising and drainage via the doctors office -lotta money now for the procedure and follow up antibiotics- she simply put the juice in a clean rag and held it there for a coupleof minutes and the wound was not only CLEANED OUT it had mimized to a simple hairline scratch in appearance from the gaping mess it was before--

The person that gave me this remedy was from Chile and she always SAID that the doctors and their medication can kill you and had never heard of a garlic and lemon killing anyone.

As for the hypertension--this will also be a source of garlic and without any aromatherapy!

When using as a form of antibiotic with asthma, bronchitis etc--you WILL GET AN INCREASE of phlegm which DOES NOT MEAN you're GETTING SICKER--it means you are in the process of ridding your body of the problem and if you continue you will see the mucus clearing literally in ""color"" and output.

Garlic makes my blood pressure drop considerably. Either fresh or pill will bring it way down, so I cook with garlic all the time, or take a pill if I am travelling. Fresh or powder ginger also brings it down. The combination of both garlic and ginger tastes very good and ensures your blood pressure is low, but it has to be consumed everyday.

Hello, I use your site all of the time and want to thank you for such useful information!

Recently, my feet started swelling along with blood pressure spiking to very high levels. I do not have high blood pressure so I could not understand what was going on. By day three I figured out I had a tooth infection that was probably starting to seep into my blood causing the swelling, blood pressure spikes, tingling in head, legs, and feet. After speaking with a dentist who felt they were unrelated and would not give me any advice on whether I should go to the ER, I decided to use garlic infused with yogurt (yogurt helps it go down easier). I took about 1 T. of crushed garlic and 1 T. of yogurt. Within 5 minutes the swelling in my feet went away and I felt my blood pressure had gone down. I took my blood pressure and it had dropped over 50 points! Obviously, the blood pressure spikes were brought on by the tooth infection, unbeknownst to the young Dentist!!!

I cook with garlic all of the time, but RAW GARLIC is terrific for blood pressure and infections!!!

Thanks!

Thanks, the ACV works. Just use a straw to keep from melting your teeth. What about garlic. I have used the fresh sliced garlic, not the elephant garlic, and it has helped the top number of my bp. I am working at getting off the bp meds especially the diuretics as they case me joint problems. I am allergic to even minute amouts of sulphur or any S in formulae.I think why not a salad 3x a day with garlic and ACV? My girlfriend lowered her cholesterol with the ACV, a Tsp. each evening. Are there other foods besides bananas that help with the hbp?

I've had high blood pressure for about 11 years following a major surgery. I've been taking HBP meds for 6 years. My diastolic reading keeps creeping up, and the Rx makes me extremely tired. I started taking high grade garlic tablets about a year ago and it works. My pressure dropped by 15 points. Now I'm looking forward to taking the Apple Cider Vinegar as well, as I have a problem with the 'kick-back' which causes garlic breath -- a curse in the marketing business.
