Nutritional yeast (non fortified) and vitamin B1 (Thiamine) for Gerd

I was having Gerd symptoms for the last few days after struggling with it on and off for a year. I saw a video of a chiropractor talking about how B1 (Thiamine) deficiency can imitate other illnesses. He mentioned how Gerd can occur from a B1 deficiency and recommended that people take unfortified nutritional yeast since it is high in B1 and other B vitamins. I tried it and instantly felt better - my symptoms of Gerd completely went away a few minutes after eating it. He also recommended taking a form of B1 called Benfotiamine, and another doctor recommended another form of B1 known as TTFD. You can google this in YouTube and the videos should come up.
